Recent Caribbean reviews

  • Best vacation ever

"Each year my daughter, now 24, and I go to the Caribbean for a week. Last year we discovered Bonaire and fell in love with it. This review is not about Bonaire though, it is about this lovely home. My daughter and I each enjoyed our own spacious bedroom and our own bathroom. Each morning we made ham and eggs in the very nice kitchen, then enjoy our breakfast on the out door patio. In the evening we would come come home and make some daquiris in the blender and then enjoy some TV before turning in. Did I mention the outdoor shower to wash the sand off before you came in after snorkeling? Or the laundry line to dry your gear out each night? Or the amazing location in Belnem, where the most amazing snorking on the island is, yet a couple minutes from downtown? This is a fantastic property. The amenities are all you could ever ask for and Bert, the owner is just a really nice guy. Ellen the manager lives just across the street and can take care of any need you have. Would I go back? Silly question, hey Bert, sign me up for May next year...and the year after...and every year until I find a way to move to this island paradise."

  • Premium property

"We rented this beautiful condo for one week in July 2014. The furnishings in this unit or not typical of a rental. All the furniture and bedding were upscale. The kitchen was fully stocked with very nice pots and pans, knives, dishes and glassware. Their rooftop terrace is unbelievable! We ate many meals out there and view beautiful sunsets. The rooftop terrace alone more than doubles the usable square footage. The hot tub is very fun and a great way to end the day or start the morning. The only complaint I had with this unit is the small George Foreman electric grill. Very difficult to cook a meal on. The grounds of the unit and pools are immaculate. The brief walk to Eagle beach is simple. I would not hesitate to rent this property again. And after spending a few days down at Palm Beach I would never want to stay down there as Eagle beach is so pristine, quiet and gorgeous. If you want lots of people, noise, fumes from jet skis and high activity than Palm Beach is for you. I cannot wait to return to Aruba in 2015"

  • Incredibly Wonderful

"This condo lacks nothing! So comfortable from the instant you walk through the door to falling asleep. It is larger than the pictures suggest with incredible views just as stated. Sipping morning coffee or cocktails on either of the balconies will be a favorite for sure. All 3 have very comfy seating! Each bedroom offers very nice beds/bedding with plenty of closet space. The en suite baths are luxurious - with soaking tubs, double sinks, huge showers with double shower heads, plenty of towels, multiple blow dryers and even a curling iron! The gourmet kitchen is well stocked for prepping any meal. My husband was delighted to prepare several meals and was not disappointed. We did eat out as well and found the food fresh, tasteful and reasonably priced. The staff at Oyster are to be commended for their professionalism and friendliness. All are extremely helpful - just ask! We had a great family vacation..want to come back and would hands down stay here again! The owners have this rental unit well thought out, equipped and you'll hate to leave just as we did!"
