"We stayed at The Landings for our wedding week and it was a fantastic home away from home for us to have as a base during a very busy and fabulous week! The unit is beautiful, nicely equipped, and very clean and spacious. It is very close to the beach and the beachside restaurant, as well as one of the pools. We cooked a couple of times in the unit which worked out great to save some cash. The beach at The Landings is lovely - we visited a bunch of resorts that wedding guests were staying at and none of them compared. The people who work at The Landings were lovely and it was just a wonderful stay overall. We did not want to leave!! In St Lucia we recommend doing an all day boat tour to Pitons/mud baths etc (we went with Joe Knows Tours). Restaurants we tried and loved were Spinnakers, Jacques and 1461. Thank you to Karen and Dan for everything and for a wonderful stay at your beautiful place, we hope to be back soon!"Guest: Karen W. "We had an absolutely fabulous time at Villa Cybelle! The beautiful, airy, clean house is extremely spacious with generous bedrooms and baths. We spent most of our time at the house on the veranda, whether having breakfast, drinks or relaxing after dinner, while enjoying the beautiful views of the sea. We enjoyed the afternoons at our refreshing pool, basking in the sun on our lounge chairs with luxurious towels that were provided for the pool area. Joan Paul, the lovely house manager was professional and meticulous. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the house. Prior to our trip, she sent us a shopping list for us to complete so that food and drinks would be stocked upon our arrival. Also, we corresponded via email regarding some activities we were interested in doing and restaurants where we wanted to dine, and she arranged everything while offering her suggestions as well. Joan also arranged for our drivers, from picking us up at the airport to transporting us through the island for meals and sightseeing. She also charted a boat for us that took us down the west coast, to Marigot Bay and to Mango Tree restaurant, where we had a delicious lunch with magnificent views of the Pitons. Our drivers, Pierre, Marc and David were all friendly and knowledgable about St Lucia. We had a wonderful time with them. We were reluctant to rent a house, thinking that we 'd have to pack additional items, but almost every item was provided, from towels, to iPod dock, bottle openers etc. The only items we needed to bring were soap, shampoo and conditioner. Andrea, the housekeeper was there twice during our stay to change linens, wash towels and clean the house. We highly recommend Coal Pot Restaurant and Pink Plantation House. Both restaurants serve delicious meals and have beautiful pottery for sale by the charming, artistic owner, Michelle. Finally, the people of St Lucia are warm and welcoming people. We look forward to returning to St. Lucia and staying at Villa Cybelle."Guest: Kat Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 29, 2014View listing
"Le Gallarie is a beautiful villa with a stunning vista. Our 2 week stay was effortless and the kind and helpful staff were superb. The sunsets from Le Gallarie's deck are breathtaking. The food was very good and varied, fresh fish and shellfish are available via the local fishermen. There is a steep path down to a pebbled beach that is superb for snorkelling. However we spent most of our time diving the many local marine reserves with the local dive master Chester, whos business Action Adventure Divers can be found on the beach in Soufriere bay. This was our second stay and both were exceptional vacations. I would highly recommend Le Gallarie. As with anywhere in the Caribbean it's important to wear a high factor sun cream and insect repellent at dawn and dusk."Guest: Paul B Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 7, 2014View listing
