  • WOW!

"We rented this property on the recommendation of friends and had researched it and others before booking. The photos of Admiral View on the website are great; but, to experience this place in person is even better! Jessica greeted us upon our arrival, and both Jessica and Pinkley stopped by on the second day to be sure we were settled and everything was okay. They are truly gracious people who wanted to be sure all our expectations were met. Not only were our expectations met, they were exceeded!! The property and villa are beautiful, classy, comfortable, spacious and clean. The view from the balconies is spectacular and the grounds are lovely! The amenities made us feel like we were at home; this was very important to us as we did not want to be in a resort with hundreds of other tourists. It was great to have the pool for the days when we didn't feel like going to the beach and we enjoyed sitting poolside at night to have a nightcap. We appreciated that Admiral View is in a quiet, residential area; yet, you are only about a 5-minute drive to Rodney Bay for shopping, restaurants, nightlife and beaches. Jessica and Pinkley are wonderful people who obviously take pride in their villas and they make sure you have a truly great vacation experience. We are so glad that we chose Admiral Villa and have already indicated that we will be returning next year. This is a rare find and a true gem!!"

  • Absolutely Wonderful

"My boyfriend and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this villa. It is without doubt the best place we have stayed ever. The villa has the most unbelievable, breathtaking views you could imagine. Every morning we woke up, we were once again in awe. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook. There are multiple areas to lounge inside the villa and outside, to take in the picturesque scenes. The pool is absolutely perfect - it is private, surrounded by a garden, and there is enough room to actually swim around in. In regards to location, it is at the very northern tip of the island - Cap Estate/Gros Islet. Rodney Bay is nearby, which has a mall, grocery store, and TONS of restaurants and bars. The northern tip of the island in general has several nearby beaches, all of which are stunningly beautiful and take 5-10 minutes to get to. I would highly suggest renting a car for this villa, it will be more convenient and save you money overall. We took a day trip to Soufriere (about an hour and half each way). You drive down the West Coast, which is very scenic. Amazing view of the rain forest and coast. In Soufriere, we did the Tet Paul Nature Trail (views of the Pitons), Diamond Waterfall + Botantical Garden Walk, and Sulfur Springs + Mud Baths. When we finally got back to our villa that night, it felt like home. The house keeper, Brenda, is also very nice! I highly recommend staying here - we are a young couple but it would be great for a family, and really for anyone of all ages and interests. High remarks for privacy, views, and nearby restaurants and beaches. Wouldn't trade it for anything!"

  • Wonderful Relaxing Stay at Date House, St. Lucia

"We had a wonderfully relaxing week staying at Date House for a week in January 2015. We took the advice about not driving ourselves from the airport, and would recommend that for all guests who don't know the area, as the villa is a bit tricky to find, especially in the dark. Robert, the owner, organised a taxi for us using a local company who he was familiar with, and that worked out very well, we ended up using the same driver to take us back to the airport. The property is lovely, very well maintained and with lots of space, including cover from the fairly frequent rain showers we had that week. There are also many places to shelter from the sun and a lovely pool, which I swam in each morning before breakfast. The views from the garden are wonderful, and even better from the balcony of the master bedroom. We were a bit concerned that the villa was too far from anywhere to eat, as we were keen on trying some of the local restaurants, but were pleasantly surprised to find out that Rodney Bay Marina was very close by, and a short drive away, with a very good selection of restaurants and the best coffee around!! We tried quite a few of the local restaurants and one of the best was at Calabash Cove, literally a walk down from the villa. We went for lunch there a couple of times, the managers are really friendly and were happy for us to use the beach after lunch once, even though we weren't staying at the hotel itself. We didn't eat in much but had the pleasure of drinking Anne Marie's fantastic rum punch, and also having her pumpkin soup one evening. I had heard that her chicken curry was also amazing and would certainly ask her to cook us some more of the local dishes on my next visit - which I'm very keen on making! I really enjoyed my stay in the villa and will recommend it to friends who are looking for a holiday in St. Lucia."
