  • A Spectacular Winter Vacation

"We want to thank David and Wanda for their gracious hospitality during our two week stay in February 2015 at Nature’s Paradise. They are warm and friendly people with much knowledge about St. Lucia where they make their home. David can make arrangements and reservations for you. We were in need of a perfectly relaxed time and we were not disappointed. For those who want a more active life there are many activities to do such as zip lining, snorkeling and hiking Gros Piton. Our very favorite memory is relaxing on the veranda of Avocado Cottage for morning coffee which we prepared in the coffee maker in our kitchen and sipping our pre-dinner rum punch in the early evening. One’s conversation is accompanied by the chirping of various birds and especially a pair of finches which followed us around the Paradise compound, on the main house porch where we caught up on email and in the pool area where we swam religiously around 3pm to catch the afternoon sun. Wanda’s breakfasts are delicious and healthy. We would eat out one meal a day and then prepare a light supper in the well equipped kitchen from provisions we purchased at a supermarket about twenty minutes away. For gifts, we purchased Cocoa Sticks for making delicious St. Lucian Chocolate Tea or hot chocolate. Recipe is on the internet and on the stick label. Several local excursions pleased us very much: David’s Eco tour and its special foray into little known sulfur springs and a fish roti for lunch at Mango Tree with its exquisite view of the bay. We did a half day sail and swim at Anse Mamin and wam at swam at Anse Cochon. Anse means cove. We loved dining out. One favorite very special dining spot is the Kai Manje restaurant at the Ti Kaye Resort where we also enjoyed Spa massages. On Valentine’s Day we reserved at the very special Rainforest Hideaway Restaurant for dinner. We also enjoyed the evening meal at Capella where one shares dishes for two overlooking a lagoon. Other favorite restaurants are The Pink Plantation and Brown Sugar. We enjoyed Rum Punch as we visited various eating places; each place has its own variation. We also made our own from Chairman’s Reserve rum made in St. Lucia which we bought at a local supermarket on the way to Castries. We experimented with different juice mixtures but most had a least some pineapple juice. On Tuesday evenings we reserved at Chateau Mygo for dinner and to dance to the live music beginning around 7 pm. These memories refresh us as we dig out our ca"

  • Beautiful Property, Perfect Location

"This is a top notch villa and a great location. Marigot Bay is much sleepier than Rodney Bay area, with a lot of great bars and restaurants tucked into the hillside around the bay, which are easy to get to. If you are not a fan of the isolation of all inclusive, and really want to get a bit of diversity of experiences, this is a great choice. Large, very will kept villa, good kitchen, nice little slice of the bay view from the main balcony, and our own plunge pool, made this an outstanding choice! The hotel recently renovated the pools and the restaurant areas, so everything is top notch and the staff was so warm and friendly, Thanks Mary."

  • WOW!

"We rented this property on the recommendation of friends and had researched it and others before booking. The photos of Admiral View on the website are great; but, to experience this place in person is even better! Jessica greeted us upon our arrival, and both Jessica and Pinkley stopped by on the second day to be sure we were settled and everything was okay. They are truly gracious people who wanted to be sure all our expectations were met. Not only were our expectations met, they were exceeded!! The property and villa are beautiful, classy, comfortable, spacious and clean. The view from the balconies is spectacular and the grounds are lovely! The amenities made us feel like we were at home; this was very important to us as we did not want to be in a resort with hundreds of other tourists. It was great to have the pool for the days when we didn't feel like going to the beach and we enjoyed sitting poolside at night to have a nightcap. We appreciated that Admiral View is in a quiet, residential area; yet, you are only about a 5-minute drive to Rodney Bay for shopping, restaurants, nightlife and beaches. Jessica and Pinkley are wonderful people who obviously take pride in their villas and they make sure you have a truly great vacation experience. We are so glad that we chose Admiral Villa and have already indicated that we will be returning next year. This is a rare find and a true gem!!"

  • Unique and wonderful

"A certain adventuresome traveler will love this place. The view is fantastic. Wonderful. Great. The location is very rural, up the side of a small mountain, almost inaccessible, down a severely pot-holed road, and quite a far distance from the beach. Having said that, this place is great. It did take some getting used to that one entire side of the house is open to the elements--bats, lizards, and bugs come and go. (Bugs were not bad, though.) Mary and Pius, the caretaker and driver, were great. They know everyone in the area and they are your single greatest assurance that no one will mess with your stuff while you are away. Yes, I was a bit leery of leaving expensive electronics out on the counter with realistically no way to lock them away, but we had no problems. In this rural part of the island, you will see lots of birds. Roosters in the area will announce themselves early in the morning. Dogs will bark. If, in other words, you tend to like resorts, maybe this is not for you. On the other hand, if you like to submerge yourself in the local culture and slow down the pace of your life, this is for you. The actual house was very well maintained, and Mary kept everything spic and span. Pius was always available to drive us, which, given the condition of roads on the island, I strongly recommend."
