  • The perfect island villa getaway

"Too many good things to say about the "castle on the sea". From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave the view from the veranda is captivating. The view from the rooftop is even better and is amazing for star gazing on a clear Carribean night. Each bedroom is spacious and the private bathrooms attached to each really give everyone their own beautiful private space. The kitchen is large and great for trying your hand at some Carribean cooking with the fresh ingredients readily available at the Vieux Fort market nearby. The pool is an excellent place to pull up a lounger with a rum punch or soak in the soft, perfectly warmed salt water (nicest pool water I've ever soaked in). If the ocean is more your cup of tea; Sandy Beach is right down the road and is great for swimming, kite boarding or windsurfing. I can't say enough about what an amazing time our family had staying in this paradise. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back again!"

  • Rainforest Paradise

"This was our second trip to St Lucia. Our first was at Sandals for our honeymoon. Ever since then, I wanted to go back and explore this beautiful little island. 5 years later (and with a baby in the oven), we decided to go back and stay at Villa Pomme D'Amour for 7 nights. My wife and I travel quite a bit and usually do the all-inclusive thing every year. This time, we wanted to actually experience the island. Our stay with Josee and Pierre was absolutely wonderful and was exactly what we were looking for. After being greeted quite friendly by Pierre at the airport, we were introduced to Josee with a refreshing (and much needed) Rum Punch along with bruschetta. I was absolutely stunned by the view from our balcony (second floor villa). We had the view of St Lucia's luscious mountains, flowers, plants and the Caribbean water. It was breathtaking.... The villa was beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. It had 2 bedrooms (each with balconies), kitchen, safe, tv, and a large balcony, where we stayed most of the time. We usually made breakfast every morning and Josee provided some eggs and fruit to get you started. There is a grocery store about 10 minutes away by car. There is a delightful little cove a few minutes away (walking) with some great snorkelling. The pool was also great - it was always warm and romantic especially during the night. This place is right in the rainforest of St Lucia and was quite the experience. Birds come flying on the balcony during the morning looking for feed and the surrounding mountains are so so lush. But when the night hits, the forest becomes alive. You hear all sorts of birds and wildlife - yes it was loud during the night, but it's part of the experience that you just don't get from the big all-inclusives. In my opinion, what makes a great experience from a good one, is the people you meet. Josee and Pierre were absolutely great and genuinely good people who will do anything to make your stay amazing. Josee helped us with our daily itinerary and offered us tips and recommendations regarding some great local restaurants. My wife and I consider Josee and Pierre our new Caribbean friends and I would go back again. FYI, I would rent a car as Marigot Bay is situated in the middle of the island but the roads twist and turn due to the mountains. Driving around is not for the faint of heart but offers some great views. Thank you Josee and Pierre for the wonderful experience! Nick & Barbara"

  • We recommend it!

"We highly recommend Coco view villa. We've talked with other people who have gone to St. Lucia and we feel that we had the best experience. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The view is amazing. It's high on a hill so there's a nice breeze and the quiet calm was relaxing. It's off the beaten trail and away from the touristy areas but it's close enough to drive to plenty of activities to keep you occupied during the visit so you get the best of both worlds. Ken and Diane are fantastic hosts, they made sure that we had everything that we needed while giving plenty of space. We'd recommend renting a vehicle for your stay to drive around and visit the island."

  • Amazing Stay, Much more than expected, Highly recommend.

"We just came back from a week at Tamarind House and can confirm that all that has been said about the place is absolutely true. The house itself is truly unique, lots of wide open spaces and amazing architecture. Built not so long ago, it has a unique old Caribbean feel to it. Large airy rooms make you feel like you are part of the incredible scenery outside. With views overlooking beautiful flowers and trees, the Pitons, the sea, a gorgeous sunset, sitting on the deck at anytime is like watching a giant IMAX nature movie. We particularly enjoyed the pool early in the AM, and at dusk when the light was spectacular. Playing tennis in front of the Pitons is also a special experience. Everything was as advertised, Easy to find and well organized. Shermika the house manager was most helpful. Ann and Cheryl the housekeepers were amazing cooks and took all the stress off any food shopping and cooking. Let them cook away, they know what they're doing. Great beach 5min drive at Anse Chastenet, We used 'Feel Good" Water Taxi, Daniel Abraham (# at the house) will take you to fantastic snorkeling sites at reasonable rates. Also ate at Boucan Chocolate Restaurant and Orlandos in Soufriere, very good, Note, road to house is intimidating at first but you get used to it pretty quickly. Car handy but not really needed. Enjoy Tamarind House."
