  • An absolute slice of heaven in the Caribbean

"From the moment we arrived to receive the warmest and most genuine welcome from Danny and Ann, until our regret-filled departure one week later, my wife and I simply loved every minute of our time at Marigot Palms. The property is impeccably cared for and is in absolutely perfect condition from top to bottom, inside and out. The view of magical Marigot Bay (where the Dr. Doolittle movie was filmed in 1967) filled us with wonder each and every morning - and afternoon and evening. We explored the island of St. Lucia quite thoroughly (we rented a car, but Danny is a skilled and generous tour guide, as well), and our assessment is that Marigot Bay must surely be among the most beautiful spots on this beautiful island. St. Lucia is an incredibly friendly, safe, and interesting island to visit. Danny and Ann's hospitality simply must be experienced first-hand to be truly understood. They are the perfect hosts, who inevitably feel like new friends from the start. When my wife got sick and needed emergency medical care, Danny jumped on the phone and got us to the best emergency facility on the island (about a 25 minute drive) - by the way, the ER care equalled any experience we've had in the U.S., and all was well in the end. Marigot Palms has great access to all that Marigot Bay has to offer, including multiple restaurants, and a beach with facilities for renting paddle boards, kayaks, sunfishes, etc. This is a delightfully different vacation experience from the all-inclusive properties throughout the Caribbean. Marigot Palms is exclusive without being prohibitively expensive - it's one of the best deals going in the islands, and if there were more than 5 stars, I would certainly assign the highest rating possible for every single attribute and characteristic of this wonderful slice of heaven."

  • Stunningly situated and well appointed property!

"This looked great in the pictures but was in fact even better in real life. Quiet and well situated for either the beach or the shops and restaurants. Wonderful to sit outside on the jetty in the evenings and listen to the tree frogs or on the shaded secluded patio for meals. Linda the maid came in every day, cleaned, washed and generally made the place perfect - always happy to share information on where to go and how to get there. Victoria at Dragonfly couldn't have been more helpful, even providing us with a mobiles to keep in touch with our daughter at another resort. We went on the Endless Summer catamaran trip down to Soufriere and can thoroughly recommend this. Spinnakers Bar on the beach is a great place to watch the sunset while enjoying happy hour. Also liked the Tapas restaurant next to the Steak place opposite Rodney Bay Mall. I would thoroughly recommend 4 Rodney Bay if you want a central but quiet place to stay."

  • Excellent location, spacious accommodations and a personal concierge!

"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. The villa is beautifully decorated and has everything a couple could need. Location is perfect too! A short walking distance from Rodney Bay with a few morning gems. The felly belly smoothie bar and both coffee shops are excellent. There are also a ton of restaurants and 3 grocery shops. Use trip advisor for restaurant selections. Stay in top 10. Spice of India was fantastic. Flavors in gros islet too! Beware: island time is a real thing. Average waiting time 30-45min for food. Sometimes 10-15 to get a drink. But just relax and enjoy the slow pace. As far as things to do, the bay gardens hotel has a shuttle which brings you to bay gardens resort. They have a beach, pool, bar, water sports, music and food options. Make sure to get towels at the hotel beforehand. They also have a concierge that can book day trips and tours. Book early. Reid, the owner was also GREAT. He arranged a private local chef to cook us a special 8 course dinner in the villa, a couples massage at a local spa, the local yoga center schedule and even a helicopter ride back to the airport. **If you can, arrange a helicopter ride to and from airport. Taxi ride is definitely scary and about 1.5-2 hours. I thought it would be nice to see the city and it was; however, there is one lane in and one out. The roads are excessivly curvy up and down the mountains and most everyone we spoke too had the same experience. Drivers are super friendly but the helicopter ride is 10 minutes and worth every penny!! $165per person US. Everyone speaks English and US currency is taken everywhere although it helps to convert to EC."

  • Great value and location!

"This is a great rental for those who prefer to live like the locals, and not at a resort. The supermarket is just a 5 min bus ride or car drive away in Rodney Bay, and there's also the gas station & convenience store at the entrance to Cas en Bas Road (about a 15 min walk). The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a washing machine. It is located in a quiet residential area, so a rental car is recommended. We did fairly well however on foot and relying on transportation provided by our excursion / tour operators. We rented a car for one day to visit the markets at Castries and to have dinner at Marjorie's Beach Bar (a hidden gem of a restaurant!). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Cas en Bas. Karen and Jerome were very accommodating and we would highly recommend this rental property. Graham & Michele"
