"We just arrived home from our amazing week at tamarind house and wanted to let everyone know how amazingly special this place is -- the house is perfectly situated with the most spectacular views from every room and location in the house. The house is comfortable, open and really well designed so there was always a place for all to gather, or for you to go off and be alone. What makes this perfect house a real home is the staff, cheryl and ann and paul -- from the moment you enter, you are cared for -- the ladies are incredible cooks and keep a very clean house, and, while they are there for several hours a day, they are in no way intrusive. We had them shop for us and make amazing meals -- better than you will get at most places in the area, so we never really left the compound!! no need really! We had the most AMAZING massages from Maura (who came up to the house several days) and got some expert tennis lessons from Vernon -- both reasonably priced for the quality of their work. We have travelled around the world and never has there been a villa that we have flat out said "we need to come here every year because it is that special" -- tamarind house is that villa -- we will be booking every year from now on!!"Guest: Mark + Cooper Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 14, 2014View listing
"Too many good things to say about the "castle on the sea". From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave the view from the veranda is captivating. The view from the rooftop is even better and is amazing for star gazing on a clear Carribean night. Each bedroom is spacious and the private bathrooms attached to each really give everyone their own beautiful private space. The kitchen is large and great for trying your hand at some Carribean cooking with the fresh ingredients readily available at the Vieux Fort market nearby. The pool is an excellent place to pull up a lounger with a rum punch or soak in the soft, perfectly warmed salt water (nicest pool water I've ever soaked in). If the ocean is more your cup of tea; Sandy Beach is right down the road and is great for swimming, kite boarding or windsurfing. I can't say enough about what an amazing time our family had staying in this paradise. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back again!"Guest: The Freckle Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 18, 2014View listing
"Oh my goodness. I can't say enough about the wonderful time we had at Beau Rivage this past week. We had the best family vacation ever. It was 11 of us and the ages ranged from 14-61. The majority of us are ages 30-40 and are very active. Everyone had a great time. The villa is beautiful and is located in a great spot. There were two beaches that we visited daily each was a short walk away. One beach was great for watersports and the other for snorkeling. The water was crystal clear and the beaches were not crowded at all. We played group volleyball, waterskied, went water tubing, sailing, and snorkeling. There were a couple of days when we just went out into the backyard, fired up the grill and had pool parties. The villa was perfect. The staff seasoned the food for the backyard cookouts. We utilized the outdoor surround speaker system for musical entertainment while we swam and hung out in the hot tub. The staff cooked breakfast and lunch for us everyday and the food was excellent! Fedora and Odessa were great. They were so helpful and our group just fell in love with them. Fedora made sure she brought us a couple of Mangos when she found out it was my husband's favorite fruit. George drove us everywhere we wanted to go and Kris Wagner arranged the tours for us. She was the "make it happen" lady. Our family is accustomed to staying in all-inclusive resorts for our family vacations, but this time we wanted to try something a little different. I can tell you that this vacation was far better than all the others. There was something for everyone to do at all times. We visited the Volcano, took a mud bath, hung out under the waterfall, took a day sail trip, visited a cocoa plantation, got massages, snorkeled, and just truly enjoyed each other's company. The only regret we each had was not booking the home a few days more. The owner thought of everything. Anything you could need, is already in place. If you are looking for a great time and just want to enjoy each other I highly recommend Beau Rivage. I planned this family vacation and I feel sorry for the next person who has to plan the family vacation because this vacation set the bar pretty high. Sue ( the owner) was extremely helpful. She made sure I had all the contacts and places to go before we even made it to St. Lucia. During the week she called in to check on us and to see if there was anything we needed. Everything was first class. I can't say enough about the place."Guest: Dana T. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 16, 2014View listing
"Nature's Paradise is a wonderful way to get away. Dave and Wanda are the perfect hosts --knowledgable, engaging, caring, and respect your privacy! Nature's Paradise is for people that truly do not want to be in a busy area - Marigot Bay is beautiful and really gives your a taste of the local flavor. Dave took us on a tour of the Peton's, mineral baths, and a volcano. We felt after just one week, we understood the island. Everyday we did something different -- beach, sailing, relaxing at the pool. Their home is lovely, high in the hills with incredible views. You do need to rent a car -- you will be driving everywhere. Wanda has landscaped the property beautifully, you truly feel that you are in your own little world. Marigot Bay is not commerialized, we loved this as it forces you to engage with the local people and food. The people of St. Lucia are very friendly, I have been to many Caribbean islands, St. Lucia by far is the friendliest and safest. It is perfect for couples that want a lot of privacy."Guest: Kimberly M. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 8, 2014View listing
