  • Unforgettable Stay in St. Lucia!

"Dear Owen, We had the most incredible week at your villa residence in St. Lucia. I am sure you receive note after note from guests raving about your property, so forgive me if you find this redundant The staff is top notch. top. notch. They are all so wonderfully warm and welcoming each day. Very patient and very accommodating. Marilyn did a wonderful job preparing 3 meals a day for our whole group. James was always punctual and quite a character. Our children were all so well received by everyone on the property. It is clear that St. Lucians love and respect children, which I hugely admire. Not all people are so welcoming of them... Caille Blanc Villa is simply stunning, as I wrote you briefly when we arrived. We never got bored of the view, everything was so clean and comfortable. It's not often that you find a home that is available for rent with such nice amenities...truly a special place. I'm not sure that I can pick a favorite villa, for they each are so unique and special in their own way. The showers in the sunset and bouganvilla were awesome. The views from the sitting areas in the pool and grotto suites were incredible. This is merely scratching the surface, but I hardly need to tell you how awesome every aspect or your home is. All I wish to convey is how impressed we all were with your property. The Catamaran was a highlight. Lovely half day. we frequented the beach at Anse Chastenet and went to sugar beach one day, which was a lot of fun, and then took a boat taxi back to town where we met James for the short trip up the mountain back to the house. You were absolutely right to suggest we not rent a car. Driving there is nuts, especially in the town! I believe I successfully settled up with Febe all outstanding balances, and took good care of the staff. Please let me know if there is anything that I missed. Thank you again for your guidance in preparation for the trip. I would love to say we will be back, but I'm not one to make empty promises. What i can promise is that if we come back to St. Lucia for a holiday, I will be calling you first! And certainly I will recommend your property to anyone that is looking to have their minds blown with a Caribbean getaway! Very Sincerely, Jeff"

  • Amazing Stay, Much more than expected, Highly recommend.

"We just came back from a week at Tamarind House and can confirm that all that has been said about the place is absolutely true. The house itself is truly unique, lots of wide open spaces and amazing architecture. Built not so long ago, it has a unique old Caribbean feel to it. Large airy rooms make you feel like you are part of the incredible scenery outside. With views overlooking beautiful flowers and trees, the Pitons, the sea, a gorgeous sunset, sitting on the deck at anytime is like watching a giant IMAX nature movie. We particularly enjoyed the pool early in the AM, and at dusk when the light was spectacular. Playing tennis in front of the Pitons is also a special experience. Everything was as advertised, Easy to find and well organized. Shermika the house manager was most helpful. Ann and Cheryl the housekeepers were amazing cooks and took all the stress off any food shopping and cooking. Let them cook away, they know what they're doing. Great beach 5min drive at Anse Chastenet, We used 'Feel Good" Water Taxi, Daniel Abraham (# at the house) will take you to fantastic snorkeling sites at reasonable rates. Also ate at Boucan Chocolate Restaurant and Orlandos in Soufriere, very good, Note, road to house is intimidating at first but you get used to it pretty quickly. Car handy but not really needed. Enjoy Tamarind House."

  • Absolutely Wonderful

"My boyfriend and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this villa. It is without doubt the best place we have stayed ever. The villa has the most unbelievable, breathtaking views you could imagine. Every morning we woke up, we were once again in awe. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook. There are multiple areas to lounge inside the villa and outside, to take in the picturesque scenes. The pool is absolutely perfect - it is private, surrounded by a garden, and there is enough room to actually swim around in. In regards to location, it is at the very northern tip of the island - Cap Estate/Gros Islet. Rodney Bay is nearby, which has a mall, grocery store, and TONS of restaurants and bars. The northern tip of the island in general has several nearby beaches, all of which are stunningly beautiful and take 5-10 minutes to get to. I would highly suggest renting a car for this villa, it will be more convenient and save you money overall. We took a day trip to Soufriere (about an hour and half each way). You drive down the West Coast, which is very scenic. Amazing view of the rain forest and coast. In Soufriere, we did the Tet Paul Nature Trail (views of the Pitons), Diamond Waterfall + Botantical Garden Walk, and Sulfur Springs + Mud Baths. When we finally got back to our villa that night, it felt like home. The house keeper, Brenda, is also very nice! I highly recommend staying here - we are a young couple but it would be great for a family, and really for anyone of all ages and interests. High remarks for privacy, views, and nearby restaurants and beaches. Wouldn't trade it for anything!"

  • La Bagatella was our little piece of paradise !

"We were NOT disappointed with this lovely villa at all.... the pictures are accurate and the view is absolutely gorgeous! The villa is very clean , and well maintained. The open air living was a new experience for us ! The villa is spacious and comfortable for 2 couples, as we celebrating a special birthday with our friends! We didn't rent a car, but did refer to a local taxi fellow who drove us on occasion, and was very accommodating. We attempted to walk down the very steep rough road to Anse Chastanet beach ...... I like to walk, but this is not pleasurable at all..... the return walk up was even worse.... everyone refused to walk it again.... we did take a taxi there and back.... for a cost of $ 40 US. I would advise renting a car... if u are the type that needs to be on the go... as the road to villa is treacherous.... but after a few travels u get use to it. We weren't use to or were we comfortable with the concept of having a housekeeper wait on us.... we had a starter pack of groceries provided , and settled the bill on arrival..... we also stopped at grocery store near airport to purchase a few things.... we found meat to be difficult to find.... as we are not very adventurous fish eaters... so we arrived at villa.... hoping the housekeeper could help us purchase some fresh chicken, or steak for us.... however, that proved to be difficult also... and had to settle for what she could get... in all ,it was fine as we had dinner reservations elsewhere on the weekend.... suggest to others in the future, to be specific and direct with your menu choices, and let her do the shopping.... otherwise u will be be managing on your own. Soufriere is abit rough around the edges to venture into, for our liking. We toured the entire island and seen all the highlights by hired car tour... and also took a water taxi up the coast to Rodney bay, Castries, and Marigot bay. We also went to Sugar beach for the day.... was disappointed in most beaches, in how the resorts segregate small scuffy areas for visitors to sit at..... however we had very expensive drinks at sugar beach patio bar... and had a surprise visit of "Bono" and his family ,who arrive by yacht, and sat next to us on the patio ! So I guess those drinks were worth it ! Warning, at Anse Chastenat beach, the area they direct visitors to is sit at is dangerous due to boat traffic..... snorkelers were frequently in the way . Great experience , and had a lovely time !"
