"We spent 6 days in this beautiful condo. It is well located in a quiet part of Rodney Bay close to all amenities, grocery, restaurants etc... It was a 30 minutes walk to Bay Garden resort or we could have free use of their shuttle from the Garden Bay hotel next door. It came in handy. The condo is exactly has shown on the pictures. Very comfortable and secure. We were two couples. Transactions with the owner was easy. Reid was extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to go again."Guest: Aurel S. "We stayed four nights, and wished it could have been longer! Jacqueline was most helpful with any questions via email and responded quickly. The apartment was easy to find with a GPS & seeing pictures of the complex before we left helped. Parking was easy and safe with a gated entry which you use a garage clicker to open. The apartment is cute, clean and comfortable with great views down the street of the beach and the mountains. We didn't really need to use the AC as the refreshing wind blows through and the ceiling fan in the bedroom kept us cool enough. There is sometimes street noise in the evening, but we travel with a white noise app on our phone so it didn't bother us. The bathroom is nicely done. We also were grateful to be able to use her beach chairs and just walk to the beach at the end of the street. What an incredible view! We also walked from this beach down and around to the paid Luquillo Beach; this too has some beautiful spots and a gorgeous lagoon just before Luquillo Beach. Jacqueline has provided everything needed for a fun, relaxing get-a-way and is an incredible host! I highly recommend staying here. We only had time to meet just before we left, which was a shame because Jacqueline was so nice & thoughtful, I could have spent a while visiting with her. THANK YOU, Jacqueline for sharing your darling home-we hope to be back someday!"Guest: Sheila K. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 6, 2014View listing
"We stayed at Andante for a week in August 2014 and had a wonderful time. Amazing views from all rooms and the double tiered deck. The home was incredibly well stocked - everything from the kitchen to snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and coolers. The Villa was one of the major reasons why we had a wonderful family vacation with our daughters aged 22, 20 and 18."Guest: Rick R. "We just returned after spending 9 days at this condo for our 30th wedding anniversary. The pictures do not do it justice. The property and water are awesome! Grace's Cottage was our favorite restaurant and we also did a sunset cruise and snorkeling with SAIL PROVO (both highly recommended). We did not rent a car and that did not prove to be an issue. We only used a cab a couple of times and just walked the rest of the time. The owners and property manager, Elaine, were very easy and pleasant to deal with. Staff at RWI are very friendly as well as the citizens of this paradise. Stop and make a donation for the Potcake Foundation also if you visit. (located at Salt Mills shopping center). These folks work hard to find home for the potcake population. Also there is a resident cat at RWI. We did feed him a couple of times. We met a lot of people from around the world on this trip. Absolutely amazing!"Guest: Tom and LuAnn Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 14, 2014View listing
St. Vincent & the Grenadines Travel Tips
Visitors to St. Vincent Vacation Rentals
St. Vincent is part of a group of islands known as the Grenadines. The island is located in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 100 miles west of the island of Barbados and between Grenada and Saint Lucia. It is one of the lesser-known vacation destinations in the Caribbean and attracts those who are looking for a quieter beach vacation where they can enjoy the natural surroundings of the island and take part in a range of water sport activities at leisure. Many visitors are scuba diving enthusiasts who come to explore the beautiful coral reefs.
Stylish Paradise at St. Vincent Villas
When you arrive at your St. Vincent villa, it is likely that you will be greeted with a friendly smile and a quick orientation of your home. Once you have settled in, you can admire the awesome views out over the bay. Many of the vacation homes on St. Vincent are located on the beachfront or just up on the hillside so you can appreciate the beautiful island surroundings. The homes vary in size and style from quaint cottages to stylish modern villas. Living areas generally open up onto an outdoor deck where you can enjoy meals and socialize. Most homes have televisions and entertainment centers. The kitchens are functional with a host of modern appliances to make vacation catering easy. Often the bedrooms will also lead out onto private decks so you can enjoy breakfast on the patio if you so choose.
Best Time of Year St. Vincent Resort Rentals
If you are looking to escape the colder winter weather from your hometown in the United States or Canada, look to the tropical paradise of St. Vincent. The best time of year to travel here is in the northern hemisphere's winter months which run from December to April. The days are still nice and sunny, and the humidity is also much less than during the summer months. In general, there is little seasonal temperature difference; rather it is the humidity that makes it feel hotter. Rainfall occurs throughout the year but is most frequent in the summer months which run from June to October. Occasional tropical storms can blow through and these occur most often in August and September. Aside from this time of year, St. Vincent has ideal weather for a year-round vacation.
Attractions at Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Vincent
St. Vincent is unique in that it is one of the few Caribbean islands to have both black and white sand beaches. Because it is a volcanic island, the vast majority of the beaches are black sand. The landscape of the island is dominated by the active volcano of La Soufriere which last erupted in 1979. Prior to that, it had two previous recorded eruptions in 1812 and 1902. If you want to explore the island's interior, you can join up with a rainforest eco-tour. The knowledgeable local guides will take you on a journey that will highlight the island's geological history and stunning fauna and flora.
Some of the island's main attractions are the many water sport activities that are available. The island is surrounded by colorful tropical reefs which are ideal for scuba diving. Some are also shallow enough to enjoy just via snorkeling. Because of the consistent trade winds, St. Vincent is a popular sailing destination. At the local marina, you can inquire about yacht charters. There are many skippers who will gladly take you out for a day cruise on the ocean. You can drop anchor near one of the secluded coves and swim ashore to enjoy a picnic.
