  • THE BEST!

"Three couples absolutely, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle Rock House on Tropic of Cancer Beach on Little Exuma. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. We either had this amazing beach all to ourselves or shared it with very few people. It is, indeed, a paradise. There was wonderful walking on the beach, kayaking to the Turtle and Alligator Rocks, and a little bit of snorkeling. But the sheer beauty of just being there is the best! The house is quite lovely, simply and tastefully decorated and is very functional. The drive back to Georgetown takes about 30 minutes for shopping, etc. We went to Tropic Breeze and Santanaas Grill in Williamstown for two excellent meals."

  • Perfect family vacation to St. Thomas

"Condo was exactly what we were looking for. We have 3 kids (11 & 9 yo boys and 4 yo girl). The boys slept on the pull out on the main floor and the girl on the pullout upstairs. Plenty of sleeping room. Everyone slept great. Bathrooms were nicely updated. Sapphire Beach was perfect for our family also. Great snorkeling right outside. A couple of large reefs and grassy areas to explore-missed the sea turtles but someone else saw some, saw some rays, ton of fish. Nice beach front to sit out and read/take it all in. There was a very sweet local woman, Monica, that was able to get us a variety of beach food and drinks. ("Strong on the rum" she says-she was right). Ask for her! The other guests were families & retirees. All very pleasant. Good conversations on the beach. The location was great for quick easy access to Red Hook. Moe's grocery, across the street from Senior Frogs, had everything we needed. Ferry to St. Johns (Trunk Bay-AMAZING). Red Hook also had some good restaurants-Fish Tails (sea food & American fare) & Island Time (pizza). Thanks Bill! You set the bar high with your place. We all hope to return and do it all over again."

  • Great experience!!

"The house, staff, amenities and facilities are just as advertised. The house is easy to get to and is very clean. Marta (the cook/cleaning lady) was very helpful and friendly. You need to bring your own food and drinks to the house in order for her to prepare what you need, and if she doesn't know how to cook it, she's very willing to learn. We had some blackouts, but the inverter they have in the house makes all electric appliances keep working, so you don't even feel it. Water heater worked well. There are good restaurants just a few miles close to the house, as well as small convenience stores for stuff you forget to bring. The pool is very clean and has good temperature. The beach also has a nice feel to it, but the beginning of it is really rocky, so water slippers are recommended. There's plenty of space for big groups to spread in the house and around the property. We were a party of 11 (including children) and everyone felt comfortable and had a blast. The house has cable and it has many channels available, however, most of them are in Spanish. The house has wifi, but it can get slow if two or more computers try to connect at the same time. The owner was always very responsive to our questions before, during and after the trip, very friendly and reliable. Electricity is paid separate from the cost of the house and depends on how much you spend during your stay (we spent about US$ 50 for 3 nights and 4 days). I would recommend this place 100%!"

  • Better than ever!

"This was the 4th consecutive year my husband and I have rented this spacious, comfortable villa for at least 2 weeks in late February (so we have obviously always enjoyed it), but this year, we were delighted to discover that the owners had completely renovated the kitchen, up-dated the bathrooms, and re-painted...so the place is nicer than ever (not "luxurious," but fresh and bright). AND it's impossible to exaggerate the convenience of having a washer/dryer in the unit! We love Viola's (the friendly on-site bar/grill) and Anthony's (a restaurant within walking distance which offers the best black bean soup in the world), and my husband, who likes to play a little blackjack on vacation, loves the short walk to the Atlantis casino. (We always rent a car so we can "cross the bridge" for groceries and the occasional fancy restaurant meal...try Graycliff, Luciano's and Matisse...but not necessary to have a car, especially for a short stay when it's not necessary to stock a lot of groceries, as one can easily get a taxi.) I should add that the owners are also a pleasure to deal with. The ONLY negative has nothing to do with the villa itself, but the pool in the complex...it's pretty and sparkling clean, but it's unheated...so it's FRIGID (at least in February...may be fine later in the year)."
