"My family and I spent a wonderful week at the Calabash Suite. This property is exactly as advertised, and looks even nicer in person than the pictures depict. I would not hesitate to recommend this suite to anyone. It's a winner. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. It was so wonderful to have a washer and dryer in the suite--it allowed us to pack just carry-ons, even traveling with a toddler! But the gem of this suite is by far that wonderful balcony. The view is spectacular, and the fact that it is covered completely with a roof was indispensable to us. We were able to "hide" from the sun during the hours of the day that it was strongest, and sit there under the ceiling fan while my toddler napped. Just wonderful!
The resort itself is also lovely. It's on a wonderful stretch of Grace Bay. The on site restaurant has very fast service and excellent food. The pools are clean and enjoyable. The resort is centrally located and a three minute drive away from the nearest grocery store.
I wouldn't hesitate to return!"

"Our first visit to the beautiful island of Turks and Caicos was incredible. As soon as we landed, our family was rendered speechless. 10 days of pure bliss awaited us!
Michael and his lovely wife were so accommodating! Michael met us at the airport, and navigated us to the lovely private villa. It was clean, comfortable, and so quiet. Living in Dallas, Texas, quiet doesn't really exist in our world. Lounging in the hammock on the front porch of the villa, eating a quiet family meal on the screened in porch, or watching the sun rise on the back porch with a cup of coffee was nothing short of incredible.
The beaches here are perfect. The water is crystal clear, snorkeling is a must, and the local restaurants are absolute perfection. Our family has been blessed to travel to many different places, but Turks and Caicos was by far our favorite place of all.
Be sure to watch the sunsets on Leeward Beach. Only a 5 minute walk from the villa. Nearly every night we had the entire beach to ourselves.
Parasailing was well worth it. Give it a go! You won't regret it.
We also indulged in a snorkeling excursion. We met some wonderful people, ate fresh conch salad (to die for!), and visited Iguana Island, also known as 'Nowhere'. To visit 'Nowhere' was so incredible, calm, and peaceful. A must!
The pool at the villa was a plus as well! Our three children (14 year old twins and an 11 year old) loved it.
Don't forget to eat at Las Brisas on Chalk Sound. You CANNOT miss this! Taylor Bay is also a must. Clear, shallow water as far as the eye can see. Less crowded than some of the other beaches as well. Amazing.
Kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms are good size, beds are comfortable. Yes, we'll be back!"

"We stayed the first week of February 2015. Not only is this property exactly as portrayed - but it is more! The condo sits on a peaceful marina that is a joy to sit and soak up with a cocktail or morning coffee. We loved the Turtle Bay location - it felt central to exploring the island but tucked away from any hustle and bustle or tourist vibe. The beach (and reef with good snorkeling) are walking distance. There is great restaurant variety all in walking distance with pretty views. The pool is pristine. Owners are very kind and provided great tips for our vacation. The place was immaculate and generously stocked. It was loaded with extras like snorkel gear, sand chairs, beach umbrella, bags and anything you need to grill, blend or cook; we also found dominos, scrabble and cards, PERFECT vacation/romantic spot for us."

"Today is our last day at Place de la Sol and I think I may cry. Wish we were staying for two weeks. This place provided an amazing vacation for my husband, myself and our three children. The house was spacious, clean, well equipped and had a lovely beachy feel. Loved all the seating areas from the large screened in deck where many card games were played to poolside where many cool beverages were had. The beach was amazing! Crystal clear warm shallow water and barely any people around. We love that sort of peace and privacy. The pool was really nice to have and the kids especially enjoyed it. We all loved the outdoor shower off of the master bedroom...what a treat! The manager was excellent to deal with and gave us some great tips. Upon his suggestion we tried a restaurant his friends own called Via Veneto...it was excellent and we went there twice. He also hooked us up with some fresh fish( red snapper) and we cooked that one night....so delicious! The owner of the property was also great to deal with and understanding as well. I had sent payment in the mail and somehow it got lost( came back to me 6 weeks later) but she was very patient and kind and we got it all sorted out. We did visit Grace Bay Beach a couple of times as we had friends staying at a condo on that side of the island and I really enjoyed that area as well. I do not think there are many bad spots in Turks and Caicos. We went on a Glow worm sail cruise. It was a beautiful evening and I thought the glow worm phenomenon was fascinating. The kids were expecting more but they are kids. We snorkelled at Coral Gardens and our group saw lots of variety there. We also ate at Mango Reef which I would give 5 stars, Las Brisas 3.5 stars, Shark Bite 4 stars, Danny Bhouy's 3 stars and Opus 4 stars. We mostly shopped at IGA and I was prepared for super expensive prices but it was not too bad. It was certainly more expensive than Canada but not outrageously so. It was pretty easy to get around Turks and Caicos by car, especially once you figure out how to landmark by roundabout. All in all, this was most definitely a 5 star place to be and we would definitely return."
