"We felt very fortunate to have such a wonderful villa. Our dive group of 4 couples travel together once every year and this year it was The Bright Idea Villa. It was our first visit to the island and Basia, the property manager, gave us so much information in advance, it made planning a trip the piece of cake!
The home is just as the pictures show, spacious and beautifully decorated. The layout is perfect for families as well as traveling couples, as everyone was able to have either a wonderful upstairs room, or pool cabana, all with their own bathrooms! The quality of linens, pillows, cushions and other décor are all wonderful and add to the ambience. We had plenty of space to hang out either together or privately. The living room is cozy with the built in couch - brilliant! - and you could always find one of us hanging out there reading or getting on the internet.
Basia's staff are all wonderful, very polite, Mi-Tuh was always checking on us and making sure we had anything we needed. We had a slight snafu with the new alarm system, and Basia went over and above in making sure we were not inconvenienced in any way (it was really no problem!).
Thank you for the many evenings we had enjoying the pool, beach and bbq while staring out at the gorgeous Chalk Sound. Yes, the property is outside of town - we wanted it that way! Just make sure you have a car so you can head into town for activities (Basia recommended Grace Bay Car Rentals and they were excellent).
We typically ate one meal at home and one meal out every day, either in Grace Bay, or nearby Las Brisas restaurant.
We also used Flamingo Divers and felt they were our favorite dive operations ever - that is saying a lot since our group consists of very experienced divers including two instructors.
No negatives here, just go and enjoy the lovely villa!"

"This was our first time in Turks & Caicos. The home is gorgeous, spacious and very clean. Jose made us feel as if we were his guests of honor!! We loved the gazebo and pool area where we spent a lot of time. The Fish Fry, Las Brisas, Taylor Bay and Bugaloos (eat everything conch) should be on the to-do list. We will certainly return with our family members so that they too can enjoy a piece of paradise."

"My husband and I also stayed here for our 10th anniversary. We had never visited the island, and after much research, this property was our top pick. We knew we had made the right decision as soon as we arrived. The house was ideal...the perfect size, nice furnishings, very clean and comfortable. The best feature is probably the ocean views. They can be seen from almost every window since this home sits on an outcrop in the bay. The pool and deck are also wonderful...we spent many hours lounging in and by the pool, enjoying the peace and privacy. The kayaks are great for exploring the bay and we once found a small secluded beach.
For groceries, there are a couple small markets within about 5 minutes. All stores prices seemed comparable, but for selection, the IGA in town is best. We had several meals at the house, but still found some great restaurants (even though many were closed due to the off-season). We booked a private horseback ride on the beach through Caicos Corral. Our guide, Kristan, was very nice and took lots of photos of us with our camera. My husband also had a great dive off West Caicos with Provo Divers. Our favorite beach was the nearby Taylor Bay. It isn't the easiest to find and the dirt road is bumpy, but well worth the effort.
We had the unfortunate timing of being there when Hurricane Joaquin blew through. It was projected to miss the island, but grew from a tropical storm to a Category 4 in less that 36 hours. Its force hit on October 1, the day we were supposed to leave. We were not able to get a flight out until three days later. The owner, Tina, could not have been nicer and graciously extended our stay. She does not live on the island, but we had met earlier as she was visiting at the same time. In the end, all three of us had to stay through the storm. The wind and rain were crazy and the power went out, but the house is a fortress and there were only a few minor leaks. This was remarkable considering all the damage we saw after the storm had passed.
It was an anniversary trip we will always remember. This beautiful home on the bay provides a wonderful getaway and we are so glad to have found it. We look forward to our next visit, and fingers crossed for better weather next time!"

Stunning Oceanfront Property, breath taking views. You won't regret selecting this property!
"We stayed at the Oceanside Tower Villa for 2 weeks in June/July & the property did not disappoint. The home was located in a quiet & safe neighborhood full of beautiful homes. The house was spotless w/more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen is larger than it appears in the photos, the great room had room for everyone, and the tower room was a nice quiet retreat where you could see the ocean on one side and Chaulk Sound on the other side w/the most incredible blue water you could ever imagine. Many days we stayed at the villa & enjoyed just sitting by the pool and snorkeling right out our back door. We snorkeled every single day and saw plenty of marine life right there at the villa.
There is a grocery store about 10-15 minutes away and a larger one further in town. We had most of our meals at the villa. The kitchen was very well equipped w/anything you could need. There was also a grill outside which was very handy. We would usually sit outside at the table by the pool for dinner, except if we were eating late, then we would eat in the screen house as it could get buggy when the sun goes down. There is also a glass table in the great room for another option if you want to eat inside with a view of the ocean.
There was a king size bedroom upstairs with a slider to the deck, a walk in closet, and an en-suite bathroom. Downstairs there was a small bedroom with two twin beds, another bedroom with a king set up (2 twins together), and a slider with an ocean view. You could walk right out to the ocean from in front of your room. The last bedroom had a queen size bed and a slider to the outside door. There was also a bathroom downstairs that connected the two larger bedrooms.
You would walk down a little walkway to get to the ocean. When it was high tide you would step into very shallow water, but when it was low tide you would have a soft sandy beach area. The water was shallow quite a ways out and very calm..... never a problem for the younger kids in our party. The house was equipped with some floats, as well as some spare snorkel equipment. There were handy guides and maps, and we ate at many of the recommended restaurants. Nearby, we took a snorkel excursion from Sapodilla bay (Ocean Outback Adv), a tour on Chaulk Sound from Las Brisas, visited Sapodilla Bay, and Taylor Bay. We drove to the Grace Bay area for a couple excursions and shopping, but were happy to return to the peace and quiet of Oceanside Tower!"
