  • SECOND stay at Bonefish Haven

"This was my second stay at Bonefish Haven (first was two years ago in January) and I found this place to be as charming this time as it was on my first visit. One of the things I like most about this place is that it is located in a residential area of Provo and you don't have the feel of vacation packed hotels and condos. Although Grace Bay (about six miles away) is one of my favorite beaches of all the places I have vacationed, I could come back after a day at the beach and relax in this peaceful setting, dunk in the pool and watch the sunsets. The owners are actively engaged in making sure that your stay is managed and they will answer all any questions with prompt responses. The local manager, Shelly, is pleasant and will help you with any questions once you are in Provo. Can't wait for my next return."

  • Perfect location

"Just perfect. Do not miss the "Lobster delivery" - just wave to by passing small boats, you can not beat the price for live lobsters and stone crabs and use the oven or grill."

  • Silly Creek, Serious Paradise

"We visited Providenciales for our 10 year anniversary and wanted to see all the island had to offer, so we split our 1-week stay into 2 parts: 3 nights at this cottage and 4-nights at a resort on Grace Bay. Although we enjoyed both places, our most memorable moments by far were during our stay at this cottage. I will limit this review to things that may be helpful to someone who is trying to decide where to book their vacation, as that is the only reason I read these reviews. First off (disclaimer) we are not the party animal type, and this location would not suit one who is. Then again, you probably won't find much partying anywhere in Turks and Caicos, so if that is your thing just go to Aruba instead. Although we did not do so, we could have easily just spent the entire week here and made a few excursions over to Grace Bay for snorkeling and restaurants. To start with, both Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay are just as good if not better beaches than Grace Bay. More pristine/natural - what is lacking is the crowds and conveniences. You will want to take an umbrella, chairs, and a cooler, all of which are provided by the cottage, and use the restroom before hand. With minimal research you can figure out where to park and access each beaches. You will need a rental car to stay here. There is simply not much to do within walking distance of the cottage. You do not have a "real" beach to walk out onto like at Grace Bay. However... With that said, our favorite activity was simply exploring the Silly Cay area with the kayak and spending time on and around the various private "pocket" beaches. We even found some good snorkeling around the rocks near some of these beaches. And beautiful sunsets each night on the balcony overlooking the water, followed with quiet evenings under the starts (bring bug spray). I could see how a resort or even an all-inclusive on Grace Bay would appeal more to those bringing children or for people with mobility issues. But this is totally THE PLACE for couples who want to explore during the day and unwind at night."

  • Family of fourteen

"La Koubba is a perfect setting for a group. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. All needs were anticipated by Marjorie, the manager. Marjorie had prepared us with advice and references for groceries and catering. We were greeted by Marjorie at car rental and then given a detailed tour of La Koubba. The villa is amazing with beautiful and spacious rooms. There were so many places to sit and socialize and find a private place to read and nap. The pool is positioned perfectly just near the kitchen and barbecue. The art work and furnishings are so interesting and so comfortable. You can't help but smile. The kitchen was great in size and utensils and appliances. Laundry facilities were so convenient. The grill was great as well as the lobster pot and outdoor cooktop. The extra frig was great for storing up on water and beverages. This home was planned with care and great taste. The kayaks were great as well as the pool and beach toys. We rented paddle boards as the sound is the perfect water for boarding. So many things to do- hiking, walking, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, building sand castles......Turks and Caicos Grace Bay was fun to visit but we were so happy to get back to La Koubba. Marjorie had told us about other beaches to visit and we went to the Fish Fry on her advice- our favourite night- great food and great music! We have talked about our next trip and everyone said, "How could any other place be so perfect for our family?" We've travelled many places, this was so perfect, so much fun! Thank you Marjorie for a perfect week!"
