"This was our first time in Turks & Caicos. The home is gorgeous, spacious and very clean. Jose made us feel as if we were his guests of honor!! We loved the gazebo and pool area where we spent a lot of time. The Fish Fry, Las Brisas, Taylor Bay and Bugaloos (eat everything conch) should be on the to-do list. We will certainly return with our family members so that they too can enjoy a piece of paradise."

"My wife and I spent five great days at Hilltop Villa overlooking Chalk Sound in February of 2015. The house sits on the highest spot in the development which gives it nice views from the deck of Chalk Sound. It also exposes the house to breezes that eliminates the need for air conditioning. The hill, however, also exposes the back of the house to views and sounds of the shipping harbor. You are just a very short walk from Sapodilla Bay which is a nice beach for both swimming and sunbathing.
The house is nicely appointed and obviously well cared for. The kayaks are an added bonus for trips on Chalk Sound.
If this house were directly on the Sound as opposed to being across the street from it, the rent would probably be twice as much. If you can get over that location shortfall, this house is a great bargain on an island short on bargains. One word of caution for women, there is no hair dryer. That is probably the only thing lacking in an otherwise well equipped home. I would readily recommend this house, but a car is a must for any house on the southern side of the Island."

"We felt very fortunate to have such a wonderful villa. Our dive group of 4 couples travel together once every year and this year it was The Bright Idea Villa. It was our first visit to the island and Basia, the property manager, gave us so much information in advance, it made planning a trip the piece of cake!
The home is just as the pictures show, spacious and beautifully decorated. The layout is perfect for families as well as traveling couples, as everyone was able to have either a wonderful upstairs room, or pool cabana, all with their own bathrooms! The quality of linens, pillows, cushions and other décor are all wonderful and add to the ambience. We had plenty of space to hang out either together or privately. The living room is cozy with the built in couch - brilliant! - and you could always find one of us hanging out there reading or getting on the internet.
Basia's staff are all wonderful, very polite, Mi-Tuh was always checking on us and making sure we had anything we needed. We had a slight snafu with the new alarm system, and Basia went over and above in making sure we were not inconvenienced in any way (it was really no problem!).
Thank you for the many evenings we had enjoying the pool, beach and bbq while staring out at the gorgeous Chalk Sound. Yes, the property is outside of town - we wanted it that way! Just make sure you have a car so you can head into town for activities (Basia recommended Grace Bay Car Rentals and they were excellent).
We typically ate one meal at home and one meal out every day, either in Grace Bay, or nearby Las Brisas restaurant.
We also used Flamingo Divers and felt they were our favorite dive operations ever - that is saying a lot since our group consists of very experienced divers including two instructors.
No negatives here, just go and enjoy the lovely villa!"

"La Koubba is a perfect setting for a group. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. All needs were anticipated by Marjorie, the manager. Marjorie had prepared us with advice and references for groceries and catering. We were greeted by Marjorie at car rental and then given a detailed tour of La Koubba.
The villa is amazing with beautiful and spacious rooms. There were so many places to sit and socialize and find a private place to read and nap. The pool is positioned perfectly just near the kitchen and barbecue. The art work and furnishings are so interesting and so comfortable. You can't help but smile.
The kitchen was great in size and utensils and appliances. Laundry facilities were so convenient. The grill was great as well as the lobster pot and outdoor cooktop. The extra frig was great for storing up on water and beverages. This home was planned with care and great taste.
The kayaks were great as well as the pool and beach toys. We rented paddle boards as the sound is the perfect water for boarding. So many things to do- hiking, walking, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, building sand castles......Turks and Caicos Grace Bay was fun to visit but we were so happy to get back to La Koubba.
Marjorie had told us about other beaches to visit and we went to the Fish Fry on her advice- our favourite night- great food and great music!
We have talked about our next trip and everyone said, "How could any other place be so perfect for our family?" We've travelled many places, this was so perfect, so much fun! Thank you Marjorie for a perfect week!"
