  • Condo and TC(Providenciales) is for people to be alone.

"We were in this condo from December 28, 2014 until January 10, 2015. The condo itself was what we expected, except one thing - it was 25-30 minutes walking distance to IGA Graceway store. Not really possible to walk with all your purchases. You have to take a taxi or rent a car. The taxi from Craceway IGA cost us $20. Kitchen in condo has everything you need for cooking. Condo WIFI wasn’t very fast for a first few days and I was connecting to somebody else’s wifi. But after that it was good. I was even able to download some programs. Without an internet I cannot imagine our life in TC. We connected to our friends and relatives using Skype when we got bored :) Beach was 10-15 minutes walking distance away. It depends what way you’ll choose to get there. At the beach you most likely will be alone. I guess this is why people go there. Owner Joseph was good to communicate with. Fast to answer our questions. His aero bed was very helpful for us. Definitely 3-4 people can stay in this condo. Queen bed in the bedroom was kind of squeaky and hard to move without bothering another person. I would definitely recommend it to somebody who doesn’t want to see or talk to anybody. Who wants to be alone. It’s very quiet place. The only way to go is first floor. There are no elevators in this condominium. Also this condo can be accessed from 2 different entrances. One is the hill side and other is where the parking is. Make sure you tell a taxi driver where to go otherwise hi will take you where that hill is. We had to carry all luggage up to the room. Same happened with groceries. Overall this condo is in a good location. We have rented a car and did see all island and now can compare what we saw. If you don’t want to pay $1500 a night than this is your place."

  • Great Location....so why didn't I love it?

"The location was great facing the ocean from the back of the complex. We could hear the waves of Grace Bay breaking on the beach. The unit itself was adequate bur seemed over priced for what it was. It needs a slight sprucing up and the bed was not comfortable comfortable but what the hell.....we didn't go there to sleep. The little cafe on the property was a plus and the kitchen and coffee maker were brand new and worked well. I guess the measure is: "would I book this unit again?" and my answer is maybe. TCI is a great Caribbean location but I have been all over the Caribbean and would give the TCI a "B","

"we have been here before and will certainly return next year because this is the best location in the Turks And has close proximity to everything in providenciales .For those of you who have never been here well this is a wonderful location but you need to understand the amenities you might expect from a resort hotel are not here. that said it does not take away from the experience.Yes there is a fabulous pool and hot tub as well as spa and tennis .The beach is only steps away but beachside drinks and food are up to you as the bar was closed as well as the local restaurant servicing the guests. This relation was stopped when management changed but the close proximity to everything makes this issue easily resolved. I can understand that many visitors here wild be happy with making there ouw food and drinks but it would be great to offer some service by the pool or beach area.I do feel the beach furniture needs updating . I also feel making a portion of the spa and removal of the tennis court could be developed into a world class restaurant and then you have the ability to attract others to come in to both eat and drink a.Just a thought. Please understand that there are no negatives here this is a very beautiful place and I won't say which unit we stay in because we want it always!!!!😉😉😉😉😉😉"

  • Great place - beware of construction though.

"My husband, 2 other married couples and two other siblings stayed at Bella Sur Mer for a week. The location is right on the beach and you have your own little private pool that has great seating in the shade if you need it. The caretaker came once during our stay to clean which is really nice. Each room has it's own new A/C unit that worked perfectly. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools you need to cook if thats what you plan to do for meals. Lots of seating for everyone if you want to relax in the house too. The snorkeling is the best! The reef directly in front of the house was great; saw huge grouper, huge lobster, starfish and lots of other fish, big and small. If you walk out to the beach and take a left, walk down about 1/2 mile (where the white stair case is at another house) there's another phenomenal reef, about 40 feet deep, we saw huge sea turtles, enormous eagle rays, large sting rays, large barracuda and many other species of fish in all shapes, sizes and colors! No need to waste money on snorkeling cruises, the best is right out your back door!! Its very windy on this side of the island so the ocean is very choppy and made it tiresome to swim through all the time, but it is well worth it and great exercise. The one negative is that there are some local boaters who disregard the boat channel markers and drive right through the reef at full speed (they come from the marina and head east to the resorts to take people tubing, etc.) so that was worrisome at times. Also, be aware, that there is construction still going on right next door. An earlier review stated this back in August of 2013 and I had figured by now it would have been finished. Not so. There is the main house and two smaller homes, maybe a third being constructed at this site. There was the usual jackhammer, sawing, pounding etc. sounds that was not fun to hear while trying to relax. They start at 7:30 and usually done by the end of the day, they also work weekends. I'm guessing its taking so long because the construction workers are on "island time." From the looks of it, could be another year and half or so before the construction is done. Another thing was our water was shut off without notice. I called the caretaker, who called the water company, who said it would be on in an hour; I'm guessing, again, that was "island time" because it didn't come back on until 6 hours later. Other than those things, the location is great and it was affordable."
