  • Excellent villa, property and location for our family vacation!

"Our family of 4 with 2 children (ages 8 and 4) just returned from the most amazing vacation in Turks and Caicos and stayed at the incredible Grace Shore Villas! We rented a car that was waiting for us at the airport, but Julian (a rep. from Grace Shore Villas) decided to surprise us at the airport and allow us to follow him to the villas! The Grace Shore Villas are clean, beautiful, safe and in close proximity to Grace Bay beach and other amenities, and each villa is kept quite private from the others which is nice. The villas are very close to great dining, shopping, beaches, etc. The binder of information found in the villa was very useful to answer some standard questions and review some of the local restaurants and tour providers. The kids LOVED the villa pool which was kept VERY clean throughout our visit! Plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing and tanning. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the standard item's you would need, and everything in the villa was in great working order. We used the provided beach chairs and umbrella nearly every day on our excursions. We used the BBQ (there is 1 per villa) to cook a few times, which was an awesome feature after a trip to the grocery store! The washer and dryer was also a great benefit for us, in order to do a couple loads of laundry to wash some of the kids clothes and the beach towels! Julian, Dinesh and Faye were amazing and I can't say enough about the incredible customer service we received and of course these amazing villas! I would recommend Grace Shore Villas for any family looking for a "home away from home" in Turks and Caicos! Absolutely coming again :)"

  • The most amazing experience!!

"Let me first say that the entire experience of staying at a home is dependent on the owners. In this case, Cally and Robin couldn't be any better. The kindest, sweetest, most interested owners ever. I every way, shape and form, they are spectacular. Responsive, concerned and amazing!! Now to the property...it is spectacular!! Whatever you do, do not miss the opportunity to be there any chance you get. It is one of the few places where the pictures actually undersell the property. The beauty and sunsets can't be seen in photos. It has to be experienced. The home is huge and well designed. We had our entire extended family there and it never once felt crowded. In fact, it was remarkably peaceful despite 9 people. The staff is superb. Every need is anticipated and and every wish attended to. The food was to die for and we had some of the best meals right around their dining table. It felt like it was our home and you can't ask for anything more than that. I would encourage two things: A rental car for ease. Driving is super easy in Turks and Caicos. Second, be very careful with large groups and taxis. They can get VERY expensive. Always always always get a price before booking. Make sure you know whether that price is per person or for the entire trip. I promise you, you can't go wrong at Footprints. We plan to return often!!"

  • Comfortable home, many amenities, beach okay

"The villa is two completely separate apartments. Upstairs has a king MBR and a child's bedroom with a full-size bed. The lower apartment on the ground floor is a king-size 1 BR. Both apartments have separate kitchens. The only way to get from one to another is walking around the house and going up a flight of stairs. Both apartments are comfortable and well-appointed. The upper apartment is the only one that has balconies/views (which are beautiful). The management of the villa was top-notch. A few issues (broken hot tub, broken garage door) arose during our stay and they were easily reachable and responsive, getting things fixed within a day. The house is well stocked. Great gas grill. Sharp knives, a nice selection of cookware, dishware (including toddlerware), spices. Blender, toaster, coolers of various sizes, foil/wrap/baggies. Beach towels provided, many beach toys, sports equipment. The televisions have HDMI cables so if you've got your own entertainment device you can plug it in. The swingset outside is very nice. Portions do get too hot to use when in full sun, but it's well shaded and in convenient view from the balcony or the garage game room. The beach area is a minute walk down a rocky path -- you can't walk it in bare feet. The large sitting area (shared with the neighboring villa, painlessly in our experience) was well arranged, plenty of chairs and loungers, sun and shade both, a hammock, and a hot tub. It's all separated from the actual ocean by a large wide planting of shrubs, which gives you privacy but does block the view of the waves. The beach itself was well tended, but it is narrow here and sloped -- not like at the resorts. The water gets deep quickly, and you can't watch a child play on the shore from the seating area. Our 4yo daughter found the waves scary, and in early February the water was just too cold to swim. If you are traveling with a small child you are much better off staying on Sapodilla Bay or Taylor Bay if you can manage it. We ended up driving to those much shallower beaches most days, which defeated the purpose of renting a beachfront place. The pool was also too cold to swim in until after 4 days of 85 degree days. Minor things: the front gate is manually secured with a chain and a combination lock and is a massive pain to open and close anytime you go out. The staff were all friendly, but it felt like someone was always around -- a tiny bit obtrusive. Overall a nice place."

  • WONDERFUL VACATION!!

"This was truly one of the best vacation spots we have ever been to. The villa was immaculate! Even more beautiful than the pictures. There was no need for a car. All of the restaurants were within walking distance, as well as the grocery store. The resort was in a fantastic location. You walk out of the front of the villa and you are at the beautiful pool. When you walk out the back of the villa, you are steps to the beautiful beach. We will definitely return for another vacation!! Many thanks to Nicola and Mel for their warm hospitality!!"
