  • NICE

"My husband & I stayed here for a week. The queen size bed was doable but would have preferred a king. We actually liked not having a maid, we changed our sheets hallway though the week & had extra towels. We used the kitchenette for breakfast & lunch. This is a studio unit and it's very small, but was budget friendly for us. The resort was pretty full but we always enjoyed the beach & the food at Mango Reef was excellent & so was the service. The island is very charming and the beach is wonderful."

  • Beautiful House in great location

"We had three couples stay at the Reef Pearl House. It was easy to find, convenient location to a nice Marina at Turtle Cove, and some local restaurants. Also close to the IGA on Leeward, but groceries and alcohol were very expensive. We were there in April, and the pool was very warm and comfortable. The beach was nice, but sloped and has very soft sand. Kind of hard to walk in. The hot tub did not work after one night, so we were unable to use it. This was the only downside of our entire week. We took excursions through Big Blue in the Blue Haven Marina, about 20 minutes away. The house was clean, neat and had two separate living quarters. The beds were King in Master, King downstairs in separate quarters, and double, (supposed to be Queen) in smaller bedroom. Nice kitchens with plenty of cooking utensils, and dishes. The upper floor has a beautiful wrap around deck. A large game room is in the garage area, and a play area for anyone with children. Lots of snorkel equipment, sailboat, kayaks are available also. Our house manager could be contacted for any problems we had or information that we needed. He was wonderful and very helpful. Security guards are on premises around the clock, but speak little English, and are very helpful and friendly. We felt safe and enjoyed our trip to the fullest. The Reef Pearl House shares a tennis court that is quite large with the Conch Pearl house next door. The houses are far apart, and very private. Our private beach had plenty of chairs and we spent most of our days enjoying the breeze and snorkeling right out front. There is a beautiful reef, Smith's Reef a short walking distance from the house that is spectacular and teeming with all kinds of fish, turtles, coral and memorials on the bottom floor. Large TV's in Living Room, Bedrooms and nice Stereo for some good Island Music while enjoying the view from the upper deck on the comfortable furniture. I would highly recommend this vacation property."

  • Beautiful, relaxing and easy vacation!

"Just as pictured! From the moment we walked into unit 1312 we were blown away by the absolutely stunning views of Grace Bay from this penthouse! This was a quick three night Spring Break get-a-way for us and our teenage boys...and we all agreed it was the perfect vacation. The beauty of this trip is that we were literally on the beach within an hour after we landed. The airport is only 10 minutes away, we used a shuttle service from the airport to the condo and then Jayme gave us a local cell phone to call for cabs as needed to run to the nearby IGA. This section of the beach is quiet, mostly young families and couples. The beach staff were very friendly and helped set up lounge chairs and umbrellas as needed. The water is beautiful! We brought our own snorkeling sets and being able to snorkel on the reef at anytime was THE best part about this location. It is like having your own private aquarium...we saw so many varieties of fish, sea turtles, star fish, lobster and the coral is pretty too. Very clear water. There is a section of red coral that is roped off by buoys that you have to avoid but we just swam around the perimeter. The condo is nicely decorated, clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The nearby IGA is convenient but pricier than we expected. The Somewhere Cafe is perfect for all three meals...great laid back restaurant! We did not use the dive shop but did see people renting paddle boards and doing snuba. We walked down to another beachfront restaurant one night and went to the Thursday night fish fry...the teens enjoyed that...lots of local food and a DJ for dancing. All in all this is a wonderful vacation spot...so much so that we are returning again this summer!"

  • Great value and great location

"We had a great time at the French Riviera. The apartment is within walking distance of the main shops and restaurants at Grace Bay but most importantly is even closer to a great spot one of the finest beaches I've been to. Very easy access via the Grace Bay Club and the benefits of being able to use their bar/restaurants whenever you feel like it as well as the other resorts around Grace Bay. Victoria is a very helpful landlord and quickly responded to questions and any problem we had. This isn't a resort it's very nice family home that you can make your own especially if you have small children, indeed simple things like a high chair and crib made a huge difference to our time in there. The Graceway market is close by and you can walk or rent a taxi very easily for the initial stocking of the kitchen. The pictures and reviews are very accurate and I'd have no hesitation recommending the French Riviera."
