Recent Grace Bay reviews
Quiet Place, very nice staff
"Our family 2 adults and 2 children loved the villa and pool. The amenities are as described in other reviews and on the website. You have everything you need; the maintenance manager Julian got us started with beer, water and fruit and explained us all you need to know about the island and the villa.
We do recommend getting a rental car for this location (I can recommend Caicos Wheels), because with all respect it takes you 15+ minutes walking to the beach (closest public access) and the bikes are better suited for adults. Same goes for the distance to the supermarket. If you don't want a car, you have to rely on the bikes (bring a lock) for doing groceries or going to the beach. If you want to snorkel at the closest reef, you would need to be prepared to walk 3 miles one way (this is what my iphone measured, because we walked it). The other downside of no car, would be being limited to Grace Beach only. We found all the other beaches more appealing (basically no people).
The Wi Fi was excellent.
Overall, great value for what the villas offer."

"My husband and I stayed in this condo for a week. We loved it. I'm surprised to read the negative reviews. Nothing is ever perfect, not even home! We found the resort itself to be beautifully maintained by friendly but unobtrusive staff. It is on a lovely stretch of Grace Bay and they have more than ample beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. We loved being able to take the short walk to the Cabana Bar to grab a drink and/or a meal for the beach. We also had a dinner and some drinks one night outside at the Cabana Bar. Delicious fish!
As for the condo itself, we found it to be spacious, modern and clean. It is on the 3rd floor and has vaulted ceilings that add to the spacious feeling. We loved the wrap around screened in porch. We had the windows open for the entire week and there were beautiful breezes to sit an enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset, read a book or take a siesta! The kitchen is well equipped and they provide an ample starter set of supplies such as toilet paper, dish / dishwasher / laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. Graceway Gourmet is only about 5 minutes down the road by car.
Bob was very responsive to all of our questions. We hope to rent again for next winter!! It is a little slice of paradise. We were very sad to leave."

"My family of five just came back from our vacation. The condo was beautiful and met all of our families needs. The location of the beach access, shops, and restaurants were perfect. We did not have a car so we walked and felt totally safe and at ease. Our family dove at Dive Provo and they picked us up from the condo every day and dropped us off when we didn't walk. Rose met us upon arrival and is truly one of the hidden assets of the property. She guided our stay and made our family feel at home. We will definitely going back."

"We had an amazing week in the upper level of the guest cottage at Villa Camilla. The location is fantastic, effectively on a private stretch of Grace Bay beach to one side of all the resorts. Clean, simple but well appointed, and with incredible all day all night cross breezes - never needed the AC. We cooked in and had everything we needed, and went out and found great restaurants nearby. (Tiki Hut and Da Conch Shack were old favourites, but new discoveries included Somewhere, Mis Amigos and Bugaloos.) We were a little worried about sharing the guest cottage with the downstairs apartment, but the spaces are separate enough for it to feel private. The owners included a really well thought out welcome package of directions and recommendations, and the property management folks were very friendly and helpful."
