  • Bliss at boutiquie hotel on Grace Bay

"I would recommend this property in a heartbeat! Here's why: location, location, location! We traveled all over the island and viewed other properties. Several times throughout our 10 night stay we commented on how perfect Villa Renaissance was for our needs. As seasoned Homeaway/VRBO renters, it was easy to chose this property. We realized several years back renting a villa/condo is often cheaper or similarly priced to staying in a one room hotel. It allows you to get a true feel of staying on the island that a regular hotel room can not. It can save you money by allowing you to cook meals at home rather than go out to eat 3 meals a day, every day. There were many restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk. Several shops were available within the same boutique area. The grocery store was about a 5 min. walk. There are bikes available at the resort along with tennis at no extra charge. The pool is strategically located behind the building which shelters swimmers from the wind, yet one could still see the ocean from the pool. Also having a washer/dryer available in the individual unit made it convenient to pack light. Of course, the AMAZING beach is right outside your doorstep. The turquoise water with clear visibility along with gradually sloped entry was divine. There were really no bugs to bother you during the day. Although when dining out in the evening at restaurants, I would advise you to put on bug spray. The villa is clean, nicely decorated, very roomy and provided a good vantage point to look at the ocean from a higher floor. The staff was genuinely pleasant and truly want you to have a wonderful stay while at Villa Renaissance. Nicola was wonderful to correspond with for the reservation process along with answering any questions pertaining to the property and also recommended several great restaurants per our requests. Mel's warm personality made it relaxing to tour our villa upon arrival. She was eager to help with any activities or excursions we planned. This is the perfect pick if you are looking for peace and quiet during your stay on the island, yet extremely close to everything should you venture out. While a car rental is not necessary, I would recommend renting one for a few days as there are so many wonderful things to see and experience for such a small island. I am thankful the villa owners offer this villa to rent on Turks & Caicos. It really was FABULOUS!"

  • The Perfect Vacation!

"After months of research, my husband, daughters (2 & 8) and I decided to go to Turks and Caicos for our vacation. We stayed at Villa Renaissance (suite #302) and it fulfilled all of our expectations. The owner Bill was extremely helpful, quickly responded to all of our questions and made the booking of our trip a breeze! The suite was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the large balcony, while admiring the stunning unobstructed ocean views. The resort is conveniently located in walking distance to restaurants and shopping, which was important to my daughter who made sure she brought something back for everyone! Also, let’s not forget the white sand of Grace Bay, clear water and the pool we pretty much had to ourselves! When we thought things couldn't get any better, we met Bentley (the pool bartender). The staff at Villa Renaissance was extremely friendly, but Bentley really went out of his way to make us feel at home. From making jewelry with my daughter, advice on our next beach activity, lunch arrangements, to just sitting by the pool talking about family or the island. He is a good person, with a big heart and the entire family enjoyed getting to know him. As much as we liked the atmosphere of our resort, we also ventured out and experience other parts of the island. My personal favorite, Taylor Bay! Hard to find, but worth the effort! It is a secluded beach with crystal clear and shallow water. We walked about 200 yards into the water and it was around 2 feet deep, perfect for my 2 year old daughter! Another family favorite was the Island Vibes Snorkeling tour with Moe and John. These guys were fantastic and made sure everyone on the boat had a wonderful time, especially my girls! My only regret, I wish we would have booked the full day tour because it was that much fun!! We also went horseback riding with Caicos Corral, rented a stand up paddle board for the day AND rented a 16 foot water trampoline which was delivered and set up right in front of our beach (Thanks to Bentley)! Overall, I can't say enough about the “perfect vacation" that my family and I had. You can read about it, see the beautiful pictures, but it’s nothing like actually experiencing it! The only down side to visiting Turks and Caicos…nothing will ever compare. ;-)"

  • Great Value on Grace Bay

"My husband and I stayed here for a week in June and had a great time. There are more high end resorts in provo but for the price, this place cannot be beat. Working with Michael was great. He answered e-mails quickly and was very helpful. The room at the Alexandra was very clean and had everything we needed. It was great that the amenities were included with this rental. We felt just like hotel guests but without the housekeeping services. I would recommend this rental for anyone looking for a great value on the nicest stretch of Grade Bay."

  • Excellent condo...excellent location!

"This is our 5th trip to Provo and we have stayed at several properties over the years and was not disappointed by this condo. It was well taken care of...pride of ownership shows here and it was much nicer than the pictures denote. Updated and personal touches so it felt like a home. You can't beat the view and all of the staff is so wonderful. Flo gave me flowers several times for the condo and just to see her smile every day was worth the trip!! Cecelia took good care of us, as well as Jerome on the beach. Office staff always very pleasant and helpful. You need a car on the Island if you want to savor all it has to offer. Snorkeling is right there at Coral Gardens, as well as "Somewhere" to eat, which is very convenient. This is probably the narrowest beach area however, as you lose alot of beach at high tide. Would definitely go back again...just have to save my pennies as to stay on Grace Bay Beach is a bit pricey. Great condo."
