"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we both could not possibly say enough great things about this villa! It truly is absolutely incredible. This villa is located about 20 minutes away from the resorts on Grace Bay in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood on Taylor Bay. This was perfect for us! Taylor Bay is stunning and we are very particular about our beaches! Loved the white sand and just sitting in the shallow water with drink in hand. Most days there were max of 10 people on the beach- all nice couples who appreciated this piece of paradise as much as we did. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the house, but very very easy to get to.
We loved the house and enjoyed opening the windows and doors between the pool and living room, turning on the music and having a relaxing breakfast or dinner. The bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous and very clean. Beautiful views from every room! There is also an alarm system which is nice to have in a secluded place, but we did feel safe in this area as it is surrounded by nice homes in a great part of the island. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked dinner most nights. We also used the grill frequently. The grocery store is about a 15 minute drive so I would recommend having a car the whole week, which we did. We also used the car to drive to restaurants for dinners. We went to the owner's restaurant- Coyaba which was wonderful and in a perfect, tropical setting near Grace Bay. It rained only one day and we had drinks and lunch at Boogaloos which is a little off the beaten path but we'd recommend stopping by.
Lizzie and Karen were so great to work with! Lizzie stocked our fridge before we arrived, provided a tour of the home and was always a phone call away to answer any questions we had. There is also a wonderful house cleaner who comes daily. She was very nice and left the villa perfectly clean every afternoon.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VILLA AND TAYLOR BAY! Writing this review is making me want to go back... and we will certainly be back someday!"

"Today is our last day at Place de la Sol and I think I may cry. Wish we were staying for two weeks. This place provided an amazing vacation for my husband, myself and our three children. The house was spacious, clean, well equipped and had a lovely beachy feel. Loved all the seating areas from the large screened in deck where many card games were played to poolside where many cool beverages were had. The beach was amazing! Crystal clear warm shallow water and barely any people around. We love that sort of peace and privacy. The pool was really nice to have and the kids especially enjoyed it. We all loved the outdoor shower off of the master bedroom...what a treat! The manager was excellent to deal with and gave us some great tips. Upon his suggestion we tried a restaurant his friends own called Via Veneto...it was excellent and we went there twice. He also hooked us up with some fresh fish( red snapper) and we cooked that one night....so delicious! The owner of the property was also great to deal with and understanding as well. I had sent payment in the mail and somehow it got lost( came back to me 6 weeks later) but she was very patient and kind and we got it all sorted out. We did visit Grace Bay Beach a couple of times as we had friends staying at a condo on that side of the island and I really enjoyed that area as well. I do not think there are many bad spots in Turks and Caicos. We went on a Glow worm sail cruise. It was a beautiful evening and I thought the glow worm phenomenon was fascinating. The kids were expecting more but they are kids. We snorkelled at Coral Gardens and our group saw lots of variety there. We also ate at Mango Reef which I would give 5 stars, Las Brisas 3.5 stars, Shark Bite 4 stars, Danny Bhouy's 3 stars and Opus 4 stars. We mostly shopped at IGA and I was prepared for super expensive prices but it was not too bad. It was certainly more expensive than Canada but not outrageously so. It was pretty easy to get around Turks and Caicos by car, especially once you figure out how to landmark by roundabout. All in all, this was most definitely a 5 star place to be and we would definitely return."

"I travelled with my girlfriend, 2 aunts, 2 uncles, and 2 friends from Kingston, Gananoque and Belleville to this beautiful house. This was my first visit to the Island and I loved every minute of it beginning with the Etoile De mer and what it had to offer. The pictures are nice, but to see it with your own eyes is another thing. The house has everything you would need on a vacation and then some. It's in a safe, friendly area, and close to groceries, beer, ice etc. It's steps away from Taylor Bay which is the nicest beach I have relaxed on ever! The sunsets at nights are a must to witness on this beach, the views are amazing. The master bedroom in this place has a balcony you can sit on at night and watch it from there. I could go on and on about this place, if you are considering renting the Etoile De Mer I highly reccommend it, you will not be disappointed.
Can't wait to visit again, thank you very much for the great memories!

"Casa de Isle was the perfect home for our family vacation while we celebrated a 25th wedding anniversary, a college graduation, and a high school graduation. The location of Casa de Isle is perfect and very peaceful since it is not located near all of the resorts. This was great as we could drive to dinner, shopping, excursions, and more to return to our quiet slice of paradise.
Dan and Deb were in the States, so upon arrival we were greeted by Faye who assists Dan and Deb. We were in great hands. Faye did an excellent job and answered every question that we threw at her. She also provided her phone number and informed us that she was available anytime (day or night)! Faye was truly customer led and she made us feel very welcome!
The main home sleeps six so it was perfect for our family of four. It is next to the beautiful Taylor Bay (only a 1-2 minute walk). The water color on the Taylor Bay side of the island is a stunning blue color. It looks like a postcard. We actually spent a couple of days just chilling out at Taylor Bay; swimming, snorkeling at the point, fishing, and kayaking.
Dan and Deb have done a great job providing all of the items that you need. There were 2 kayaks, life jackets, fishing rods, tennis rackets, floats, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, sand toys for smaller children, and more. Last but not least, the pool at the home is very refreshing.
We hope to go back to the Turks sometime in the future. Hopefully ‘Casa de Isle’ will be available when we return because it will be our choice of stay. Dan and Deb, thanks for sharing your home with our family. Faye thanks for your top notch hospitality. Our family made some great memories during our stay that will be unforgettable."
