  • Stunning pool, amazing sunsets and serenity! What more could one ask for on vacation!

"We booked our flights and began our search for lodging. We were torn between a beach front resort and a condo away from the hub. While corresponding with this owner, he made the suggestion to have a car wherever we stayed as the island does not really have a center. We chose to do that and stay at the Yacht Club and we knew the minute we arrived it was the right decision for us. Wayne and Nancy's home is clean, well equipped and has the best location for viewing sunsets in the place! We woke every morning and had our coffee overlooking the marina and watching the yachts go out for the morning. The pool is do not do it justice. I spent a few days with my book and float and I was alone there for the most part..heavenly! The area the condo is in has 4 restaurants and a small beach with a reef to snorkel in within walking distance. We did use the car daily to check out the various resort beaches, other reefs and restaurants. But, it was wonderful to come back to this peaceful oasis and watch the sunset at the days end. The hosts have mostly everything you could need including spices, a few condiments, gas grill, cooler, beach chairs and towels, umbrella and a hair dryer among other necessities. The washer/dryer were nice to have (should have brought less!). I had some reservations initially about booking as there were so few reviews. This condo is the home of the owners and they rent infrequently. Let me assure you that the condo is all that is advertised and more and Wayne is responsive and helpful in answering any questions you may have about the island or condo. If you are considering visiting TCI, this is an excellent choice for your home base. I really can't say enough good about it."

  • Great Stay at the Yacht Club

"This was our first stay in Turks & Caicos, and after much research we chose the Turtle Cove area to be close to Smith's Reef. This condo was perfect for us, and exceeded our expectations. The bedroom and bathroom are not pictured in the listing, and they are very attractive and modern in appearance. It was too hot to spend much time on the balcony, but the view of the pool and marina is lovely. The multi-level pool is very large, and due to most of this development being owner occupied, we were often the only 2 people at the pool. Plenty of room for our floats, and lots of shade around the pool. The owner picked us up at the airport and gave us an overview of the area and the unit, and even took us to the IGA to stock up. He isn't always in town to do this, so we really appreciated that. He has an office on site, and we ran into him several times during the week, along with his lovely family. When I broke the clip on my husband's snorkel, he was kind enough to take the clip off his son's snorkel and lend it to us for the week. The walk to the beach is a little over 5 minutes, which we were able to do with no problem. The unit itself is top notch and puts you less than 5 minutes by foot from 4 of the 5 restaurants in Turtle Cove. Scooter Bob's is within walking distance if you want to rent a car or bicycle. Because of the proximity to restaurants, we did not rent a car, and used the money we saved to take a snorkeling/shelling tour. We had a wonderful stay, felt it was a great value, and hope to return again in the future."

  • Wow - what a gem!

"Just returned from 2 weeks in Provo at Coral Villa. The villa is large enough for 4 adults and plenty of space to chill out on the verandah. The villa has everything for the kitchen and laundry - very well equipped. It is beautifully maintained, with a quaint, relaxing atmosphere. It is easy walking to Turtle Cove to eat out. Louise was so helpful and showed us where the best places to go were. Robinson the cat was cute (if you are a cat lover). Sharkbite, Tikki Hut, Green Bean, Baci are all great places to try as they all have varied menus (and prices!). Food is expensive generally (e.g cheese $9 for a small pack, $7 for a nice loaf, $3 cucumber, $14 wine) Hire a car and explore not only Provo, but take the ferry to North and Middle Caicos to experience different islands and beaches. The 9.30 ferry, returning at 4pm should be enough to explore. We all felt very secure, especially as there is a regular security patrol in the area and had no worries at all. I'd certainly go back again to Coral Villa."

  • Awesome Place!

"My husband and I chose Villa Diasanadu for our week on Provo. The location is convenient to just about everything, without being in the middle of the mega-resorts. We love having a "home" rather than a hotel room on vacation, and this felt much like a home to us. Barb had even placed a miniature Christmas tree on the table (we were there for Christmas). Nice touch! Everything you need in order to have an enjoyable vacation is provided. Beach chairs, towels, beach towels, etc. are all provided. Copies of the latest dining guide and the latest "Where When How" magazine were on hand - very helpful! Everything is exactly as it is pictured here on the listing. The villa was clean and tidy, nothing in disrepair that we could see. We used the washing machine one time and didn't mind hanging our things out to dry on the line (think someone complained about that in a previous review). The kitchen is well equipped with enough pans, utensils and dishes to cook a full meal. We mainly did breakfasts, lunches and happy hours at the villa, going out to restaurants for dinner. The bathroom and bedroom are both roomy. No tripping over each other to get to things. The living room and dining area are perfect for two people. AC is provided in the bedroom, but we mainly just opened the windows and used fans. It was plenty cool most nights. The verandah is a great place to sit and relax after a long day at in the sun. We usually sat out there and had happy hour with some rum punch and snacks before getting ready for dinner. Very relaxing. Graceway IGA is about a 2 minute drive. Grace Bay restaurants, resorts and shopping about 3 min. (It's a small island- nothing is too far of a drive.) Turtle Cove is walking distance, as is Magnolia. We saw many runners on the sidewalks along Lower Bight road. We didn't exercise at all this week, but felt like this would be a pretty safe place for running. For beach access we used the first one east of Turtle Cove. This end of Grace Bay is very quiet and, thankfully there are no water sports salesmen hassling you to sign up for para-sailing or banana boat rides, etc., like you'll get down by the resorts. It felt almost like a private beach. This particular beach access also puts you right at the best part of Smith's Reef for snorkeling. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if we return to Provo."
