  • Amazing Stay at La Koubba Villa

"We spent a week at La Koubba Villa in Provo. The property was even more amazing than the photos. Though we travel often, we normally stay at resorts, hotels and timeshare properties; however for our wedding we wanted a more personal and private location -- so we decided to rent a villa (our first time). Having stayed at timeshare properties, we expected to find a few appliances; but La Koubba -- not only had everything we needed, but most things you would find in your own home. Everything about La Koubba was quality...from the bedding to the cutlery set. The location could not have been more perfect for us and our wedding plans, which was to be married on a beautiful white sand beach with only family and friends in attendance...and La Koubba on Sopadilla Bay was perfect. The property was very clean, well maintained and we were met at the door with welcome drinks upon arrival. Majorie, property manager, was more than helpful when answering question about where to go, what to do, or questions about the property it self. We kayaked around the bay; chartered a private snorkeling trip with Captain Bill who picked us up on the beach right outside the property. We had an awesome dinner at Las Brisas restaurant directly across the street, within walking distance -- the food, entertainment and staff were all great. We hope to return to La Koubba annually and would recommend it for anyone who loves to be in a beautiful, fully equipped home right on a beautiful white sand beach."

  • Great 3 weeks

"Jan 22/14- Feb 10/14 Greeted @ airport by Katherine and followed her back to Villa, where rum punch was waiting to help us get ready for the Caribbean life style She provided helpful information ie: as to what to see and expect, took out map of island and circled and noted special places (referred to often during visit) The pictures of the Villa are exactly what we encountered, very relaxing on the Lanai and down by the floating dock Felt at home within first day, Kitchen very functional and breakfast bar allowed conversation while preparing meals Plenty of on sight utensils, and what ever missing was quickly looked after by Katherine Any thing that was a concern was addressed quickly either by cell phone or we used e-mail and she got back to us very quickly The property was very clean upon arrival, with enough linens etc. I would have no qualms to recommend this property to others it really was an oasis in a dry area that gave us peace of mind and body We had a very nice day with Ocean vibes, dolphins, snorkeling, conch catching (not hard) iguana island, highly recommended Ate most meals in Villa however did have a nice Lunch at Hemingways @ the Sands Resort, Shark bite was beautiful to look over the bay with fish and chips and a local beverage (TurkHead on Draught) Also enjoyed Danny Bouy's in Grace Bay Area Smith Reef and Coral Garden Great for snorkeling off shore not too busy, take SPF or in 20 min. you will start to burn We would certainly stay at villa again if we return to the Turks and Caicos Islands 4 Happy and Tanned Canucks"

  • Fantastic place

"My family rented a one bedroom place at Reef Residences from April 4-11, 2014 and it was fantastic. We were travelling with our toddler and the unit was fully equipped for him (crib, high chair). Renting a place with a seperate bedroom is key if you are travelling with a kids. The one bedroom upper unit was great. Clean. Well kept. Nice view of the pool and very spacious. Even though it is a vrbo, it has daily housekeeping and a great concierge staff. Best of both worlds! Also it is way closer to the (amazing) beach than I expected. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks to everyone there for making our trip so fantastic!"

  • Happy Visitors!!!

"We had an absolutely fabulous, relaxing 12 night stay in this wonderful, spacious suite at the Regent Grand. We ate breakfast every morning on the roomy balcony overlooking the pretty infinity pool. The kitchen has every convenience of home so we often made our own meals. It is great to have the choice of eating in or going out to any of the nearby restaurants, many of which are within walking distance. Bikes are available from the concierge so we rode almost daily either to the nearby Graceway Gourmet grocery store or we rode to nearby snorkeling spots or just to look around the island. The infinity pool is absolutely lovely, very clean and pretty with two hot tubs of varying temperatures. The beach was the absolute best... right in front of the hotel with beautiful turquoise warm, water and soft white sand that extends for miles in both directions... great for walking either in the sun or the cool of the evening. Sun umbrellas and chaise lounges are available for relaxing or reading either at the poolside or the beach. For relaxing indoors the suite has a comfy sitting area with entertainment system. The staff of the Regent Grand are attentive and friendly... eager to help in any way and always smiling. The owner was especially knowledgeable in answering all of our questions both in advance and by e-mail while we were there offering many helpful suggestions for restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We would most definitely recommend this property to our friends and family. Best vacation spot we have found in our more than 35 years of travel around the world."

Providenciales Travel Tips

Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss

Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.

As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.

Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise

Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.

There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!

Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!

For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
