"One of the best spots on Grace Bay! Jeeno welcomed us and took us on a tour of the condo & facilities. She gave us great advice on reasonable places to eat, groceries and even taxis. We stayed here for a week with 3 teenagers. The condo itself was top shelf all the way with plenty of space for everyone. The amenities - wifi, appliances, HDTVs, gas grill, tennis equip, w&d - gave us all the comforts of home. We used the grill 2 nights and 3 days for lunch. We actually had some friends stay at another resort who ended up coming to our beach most days. It is a first floor unit, so you simply walk out to the beach where the Pinnacles staff had our chairs / tables / cabana's all set up for us. The Pinnacles complex itself is gorgeous. Great pool, tennis court, fitness center and jacuzzi. It's gate so there is no traffic or people walking through all the time. The staff even brought us fresh coconuts 3 times (great with the local rum!). We thought the best part was the location. It's next to the Seven Stars resort. The beach is a bit wider at this end and much less crowded than Beaches / Club Med or some of the other big resorts. Some good and reasonable restaurants were within walking distance (Caicos Cafe, Mr Grouper's, Caicos Bakery, Crackpot Kitchen). The IGA market is also a 5 minute walk away. Make sure you reserve Thursday night for the local Fish Fry (taxi ride) for some great local seafood, rum punch, music and dancing on the beach - nothing like it. For activities, the Dive Shop is a 5 minute walk. We booked a diving trip and a snorkel trip, they picked us up in the boat right outside the condo. We also did some parasailing and banana boat rides right at our beach. We will definitely be returning to Grace Bay and this condo!"Guest: Tim O. "My family rented a one bedroom place at Reef Residences from April 4-11, 2014 and it was fantastic. We were travelling with our toddler and the unit was fully equipped for him (crib, high chair). Renting a place with a seperate bedroom is key if you are travelling with a kids. The one bedroom upper unit was great. Clean. Well kept. Nice view of the pool and very spacious. Even though it is a vrbo, it has daily housekeeping and a great concierge staff. Best of both worlds! Also it is way closer to the (amazing) beach than I expected. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks to everyone there for making our trip so fantastic!"Guest: Janiced Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 21, 2014View listing
"My husband and I, and our two daughters aged 7 and 9 enjoyed Satori for a month in December of 2013. One key feature of Satori is its location. Not only is it steps from the ocean, but since we had a rental car, we were able to zip off to any other beach or restaurant in just minutes. The house itself is solidly built with open, airy vaulted ceilings. There is air-conditioning, but we never needed it because the house cooled down with the windows open at night. Some days we never even left the house, THAT’s how pleasant it was! Shopping was easy at the IGA, and every morning we had the choice of eating at the house or taking a stroll down the beach to find a restaurant nearby (due to Satori’s awesome location, it’s so cool that you can do that!). The deck, as well as every window, has white wrought-iron bars, plus outdoor night lighting. This is an important feature because it gave me a real sense of security and peace. We are not “hotel” or “all-inclusive” people. We like to make our own schedule, we like to hang out with ourselves (not a fan of crowds), and because we are a bit fussy about food and such, we like to make our own decisions about our activities and eating. This is why Satori was a good fit for us. We absolutely loved it there and since we’ve returned home to Canada, Satori is all we think about. Thanks JoAnn for a wonderful vacation."Guest: Smiles and Giggles Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: January 27, 2014View listing

Providenciales Travel Tips
Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss
Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.
As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.
Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise
Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.
There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!
Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!
For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
