  • Awesome Place to Stay

"This is a great place to stay. It was a terrific location and in great shape. The detriment was the communication. Two days before I arrived I made contact with the only person I had a phone number or email for. I received nothing further on the questions and other info I was trying to obtain. My concierge sent me an email at 1 am before my 6 am flight and had not answered it by my arrival time. I then had no contact info, condo number, gate code etc to be able to check in."

  • Excellent Villa for Family Vacation

"Our family of 4 adults stayed at the Villa for 9 nights. Loved every aspect of the Villa! Beautiful views from the upstairs windows & decks & plenty of room for everyone to relax in an island home. The pool was a great place to cool off or unwind at the end of the day. Grace Bay is a minutes walk from the Villa & we spent many hours floating & snorkeling right off the beach. We used the BBQ several times & cooked most breakfasts. There was an issue with the oven & dishwasher but it was fixed immediately & was not a big deal to us. The cable was out most of our stay but again not a big deal & it was no fault of the Villas as the provider was having issues. Location was awesome...easy walk to the Fish fry & other places for a quick meal or drink. It is centrally located so it was an easy drive to IGA, Turtle Cove, Blue Haven, the Airport...pretty much anywhere. Everyone from the Owner, Propery Manager, Housekeeping, Maintenance man & Security Guards are top notch! Everyone gave us great advice on the "must do's" while in Provo & took excellent care of us! Highly recommend this rental & hope to return in the near future."

  • Incredible offeringes at Casita Sirena

"We had a marvelous time at Casita Sirena & visiting the islands surrounding. There is plenty of privacy if you want to just chill, sleep in, go for quiet walks on a very private beach while gazing out at the beautiful crystal clear blue waters or hang poolside to enjoy lounging or grilling out. The Ferry is nearby to go to the North & Middle Caicos areas that offer some extraordinary adventure through caves and various trails, delightful eatery by the Sea "Daniel's Cafe" and sights (Mudjin Harbor) or if you prefer, hang back in Provo for some local fun at the Thursday Fish Fry or indulge in a delightful Conch meal at any of the various restaurants along Grace Bay. A short distance away Chalk Sound is a lovely area and offers enchanting views but very family friendly for little ones due to the safety of the shallow waters. An amazing part of the trip was joining friends on a sailboat for an all day excursion, the sights are extraordinary from that perspective. The best part of the trip was spent with the owners Marsha & Richard working at the coral nursery that she as a marine ecologist so lovingly tends to. We can't wait for the launch of the "adopt a coral" program. We are eager to support this wonderful program. Over 8 days, we covered a lot of ground but there is so much more to see and do next time. I highly recommend this property and suggest you bring along as many "staples" you can if you would like to keep your food costs down so you can split the difference between going on an excursion or dining beachside with a bottle of wine."

  • Great Stay at the Yacht Club

"This was our first stay in Turks & Caicos, and after much research we chose the Turtle Cove area to be close to Smith's Reef. This condo was perfect for us, and exceeded our expectations. The bedroom and bathroom are not pictured in the listing, and they are very attractive and modern in appearance. It was too hot to spend much time on the balcony, but the view of the pool and marina is lovely. The multi-level pool is very large, and due to most of this development being owner occupied, we were often the only 2 people at the pool. Plenty of room for our floats, and lots of shade around the pool. The owner picked us up at the airport and gave us an overview of the area and the unit, and even took us to the IGA to stock up. He isn't always in town to do this, so we really appreciated that. He has an office on site, and we ran into him several times during the week, along with his lovely family. When I broke the clip on my husband's snorkel, he was kind enough to take the clip off his son's snorkel and lend it to us for the week. The walk to the beach is a little over 5 minutes, which we were able to do with no problem. The unit itself is top notch and puts you less than 5 minutes by foot from 4 of the 5 restaurants in Turtle Cove. Scooter Bob's is within walking distance if you want to rent a car or bicycle. Because of the proximity to restaurants, we did not rent a car, and used the money we saved to take a snorkeling/shelling tour. We had a wonderful stay, felt it was a great value, and hope to return again in the future."

Providenciales Travel Tips

Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss

Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.

As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.

Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise

Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.

There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!

Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!

For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
