  • Great resort on a beautiful beach!

"My husband and I spent 1 week in January of 2015 at Alex 3303. The room was clean, modern, and well stocked with towels, linens, etc. We really appreciated the in-suite washer and dryer. The resort as a whole was perfect. The staff was very friendly, from the front desk, restaurant staff, towel guys, and even the gardeners! The Mango Reef restaurant meals were second to none - anything from pizza to the steak and lobster were excellent. The section of Grace Bay beach that the resort is on was our favourite. We really enjoyed using the resort bicycles to get around, and did rent a car one day, and would likely do more of that next time, although it is not necessary. The "cheat sheet" that Michael provided was very helpful, and we will definitely be back again!"

  • Wow!

""Wow" is what I said as we arrived at this suite after a long day of travelling from California. This is an Amazing space and exactly as pictured in the photos. The suite has been beautifully remodeled and has all the comforts of home. Keith has packed an incredible number of small appliances, dishes, glasses, etc. into this kitchen that I can't imagine what else you could need. Keith also provides a cell and landline phone for your use, Sirius radio, a tablet and laptop! There is plenty of space for two people in this suite and the huge screened in balcony just makes it that much larger. The balcony overlooks lush landscaping in a private location. We were also very pleased with the resort. The grounds were very well maintained and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly. We ate at the Seaside Cafe on the property twice for lunch and were very pleased with our meals that included mouth watering fish tacos, conch and fish sandwiches. The prices were comparatively reasonable and the beach side location was perfect. There were always plenty of loungers at the beach during our week and the swimming was great right in front of the property. As others have mentioned, OCW is in a perfect location on Grace Bay. There is much within walking distance if you don't have a car. And if you have a car, like we did, there is ample parking. Lastly, Keith was so easy to work with and provided a lot of useful tips as our stay approached."

  • Great 2 weeks at the Grandview

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grandview. It is perfectly located on the island, close to great restaurants (Coco Bistro is a must), grocery shopping (also excellent) and the Grace Bay Club. We loved the complex, enjoying the hammocks and chatting with the other guests around the pool. Our only negative comment is that the condo was not as clean as we would have expected. There were moldy Cherrios under the furniture, obviously there for some time."

  • Another Great Stay

"This is the third time we have stayed in this condo at OCW. It has a perfect location with everything you need within a short walk, including restaurants, grocery store, and shops. The condo itself is beautiful and nicely furnished with a wonderful view of the pool, gardens, and ocean. We especially enjoy the screened porch where we ate most of our dinners and just relaxed. Jon and Heather are very accommodating and gracious owners. Already looking forward to our next trip!"

Providenciales Travel Tips

Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss

Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.

As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.

Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise

Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.

There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!

Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!

For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
