  • Incredible offeringes at Casita Sirena

"We had a marvelous time at Casita Sirena & visiting the islands surrounding. There is plenty of privacy if you want to just chill, sleep in, go for quiet walks on a very private beach while gazing out at the beautiful crystal clear blue waters or hang poolside to enjoy lounging or grilling out. The Ferry is nearby to go to the North & Middle Caicos areas that offer some extraordinary adventure through caves and various trails, delightful eatery by the Sea "Daniel's Cafe" and sights (Mudjin Harbor) or if you prefer, hang back in Provo for some local fun at the Thursday Fish Fry or indulge in a delightful Conch meal at any of the various restaurants along Grace Bay. A short distance away Chalk Sound is a lovely area and offers enchanting views but very family friendly for little ones due to the safety of the shallow waters. An amazing part of the trip was joining friends on a sailboat for an all day excursion, the sights are extraordinary from that perspective. The best part of the trip was spent with the owners Marsha & Richard working at the coral nursery that she as a marine ecologist so lovingly tends to. We can't wait for the launch of the "adopt a coral" program. We are eager to support this wonderful program. Over 8 days, we covered a lot of ground but there is so much more to see and do next time. I highly recommend this property and suggest you bring along as many "staples" you can if you would like to keep your food costs down so you can split the difference between going on an excursion or dining beachside with a bottle of wine."

  • Amazing! This one pushes all the buttons.

"We've been visiting a different island every February for the last seven years and we have found a new favorite. We've rented many condos and this one rates an A+. Everything the owner Ed said about his place is accurate. The condo is very well decorated with all the expected amenities including TVs, WIFI, full kitchen, comfortable king bed, etc. The view from the balcony is stunning and we used it every morning and evening. The location was exceptional with beach, snorkeling reef, restaurant and bar conveniently located at the resort. We usually don't get to know the staff on a first name basis but they were so helpful and friendly that you couldn't help but get to know them. Carolyn, Flo and Matthew in the office were always attentive and offered good advice on shopping and restaurants and helped arrange taxis. Gerome on the beach always looked after us making sure our beach chairs were at the ready. We were there at high season and the beach was busy but Gerome always was able to find chairs for us. The snorkeling was very good for an inshore reef and I took advantage of it daily as well as long beach walks in either direction. The Somewhere Bar and Grill onsite had excellent drinks and surprisingly good food so we ended up eating there 3 nights. We also walked up the beach to the local park on Thursday night for the open air fish fry that was also very good. After visiting 7 islands (St. John, St. Martin, Aruba, Grand Caiman, Bermuda, St. Croix, Barbados) this may be the first to get a return visit."

  • Great Place near Grace Bay

"My friend and I recently stayed at the cottage. Although small, it was very well equipped and suited us beautifully. Terri, the owner, was very gracious. She even drove us around on our arrival to show us the beach and the grocery store. We decided to buy a few things; however, we didn't bring any money. Terri was kind enough to lend us some. The island is beautiful and the beaches are magnificent. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. When we return, we will definitely stay there again."

  • AWESOME!!!

"The house was really nice and so comfortable. It is in a secure quiet neighbourhood & the ocean only being a few steps away. It is so private & has everything you would need to just move in & be ready to just relax & start to enjoy your holiday. I also really enjoyed the yard, with the pool & bar & 2 outdoor tables, one which is covered in case you got too much sun!!! I also enjoyed the nice big barbeque & sitting outside on the patio to enjoy our meals. I would also like to mention the patio furniture. It's so comfortable & sturdy which is awesome as we spent a lot of time poolside & it's great to have comfy chairs. Another HUGE asset for me was the remote control air conditioning in each room, which allowed you to be cool & sleep well every night. I truly found this to be one of the best vacations I have ever had & I would go back & stay there in a heartbeat. The local people were super friendly & really kind. The ocean is so clean & warm & the sand is like silk. I just loved it. I DIDN'T WANT TO COME HOME!!!"

Providenciales Travel Tips

Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss

Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.

As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.

Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise

Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.

There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!

Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!

For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
