  • Private Oasis

"Spent 10 days at this lovely house. Landscaping and pool very private and beautiful. Great path to canal with kayaks for your use. Kayaked several times in the safe canals with beautiful blue water. Can walk to Blue Haven and the market there which was very convenient. Chuck and Brenda great hosts and respect your privacy, but there if you need anything. House was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Beach items were there in pool house for trips to the beach...umbrellas, chairs, coolers. We didn't need anything. So comfortable it felt like home and didn't want to leave! There to purchase a property and when we do we will rent this villa when we have extra guests...Thank you for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise. I even saw the hummingbird!"

  • AMAZING.... LOCATION LOCATION

"I have been staying here for years. Best location on island, you can walk out your door and be right on the beach. Great beach side bar for food and drinks. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. All the units are keep very clean and have all the stuff you might need. I travel with my young son so safety is very important to me. There is a security guard all day and night, I have never had to worry about it. I would recommend Leanne and Coral Gardens to anyone!!!"

  • Paradise!

"Thank you so much Susan for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise with us! We truly enjoyed your lovely home and you seemed to have thought of everything to make your guests' stays very easy and comfortable. Location, location, location! Villa Ono is located on a quiet, bougainvillea-lined street, just a short walk to the beach, to the grocery store and to many other stores and restaurants. Our family of four (myself, my husband, and our two daughters, ages 18 & 19) arrived at Villa Ono by taxi on a Sat. and we did not rent a car until Wed. which allotted us plenty of time to explore Provo as well as North and Middle Caicos before departing. A car is not necessary but a good idea if you want to explore. Per Susan's recommendations, we rented from Grace Bay Car Rentals which is nearby the house and then returned it to the airport. A perfect set-up. All meals eaten in were enjoyed on the screened-in porch which was also good for nightly family games. Although you won't be swimming laps in the pool, it was so refreshing for a dip upon returning from the beach or just lazing in one of the lounge chairs on the side reading. Quite peaceful and relaxing. With the ease and efficiency of reserving the villa to the peace and comfort of the home itself, I can highly recommend Villa Ono. Thank you kindly, Susan, and we hope to return!"

Providenciales Travel Tips

Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss

Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.

As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.

Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise

Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.

There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!

Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!

For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
