  • Great Condo in the heart of town yet near the beach

"We just completed a great, relaxing week in the Turks And Caicos Islands while staying at Carpe Diem. What a super place to stay and the phrase location, location, location is right on the money for this condo. It was the perfect size for my wife and I and had all the comforts of home. We used the pool every day and had it all to ourselves each time. The close proximity to the beach was fantastic, as was the great restaurants nearby. We did not feel the need to rent a car, but did do quite a bit of walking on the beach. In short, a great vacation and perfect location. Thanks Vanessa for sharing your home. We really enjoyed and appreciate it."

  • Fantastic place

"My family rented a one bedroom place at Reef Residences from April 4-11, 2014 and it was fantastic. We were travelling with our toddler and the unit was fully equipped for him (crib, high chair). Renting a place with a seperate bedroom is key if you are travelling with a kids. The one bedroom upper unit was great. Clean. Well kept. Nice view of the pool and very spacious. Even though it is a vrbo, it has daily housekeeping and a great concierge staff. Best of both worlds! Also it is way closer to the (amazing) beach than I expected. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks to everyone there for making our trip so fantastic!"

  • A truly, truly special place!!

"Casa V far exceeded our expectations! Seven couples rented the main and guest house for six days for our 50th b-days and we couldn't have been happier. The setting is magnificent. Very private and the beach is so near and inviting at the bottom of the stairs of the house. We stayed down there many afternoons, some in the shade of the enormous natural thatched tiki umbrellas while others stayed in the sun and water. Wonderful 2 mile walk on the beach if you go left. Great beach spot as grace bay was too windy and rough most of the time we were there but we had calm blue torquoise waters on Long Bay. We didnt leave the house for three days! We had a private chef during that time and the outdoor bar and dining area is where we took every meal. The outdoor covered area between the TV room and kitchen was the central meeting area as it had plenty of chairs and room to catch up. The pool was equally inviting for a quick dip after the ocean or lounging on the beach chairs. We also had a great tennis tournament and the only regret was not taking lunch and beverages down at the covered tiki umbrellas and amply sized tables and bar area. The court is in very good shape and its hot during the day so a recommendation is to play early morning or in the early to later evening as the lights work great. The condition of the home and all its contents were excellent. The chef (Dave Moser who is amazing!) said the kitchen and outdoor grill were centrally located to allow him to be around the broader group and not run far. The beds were comfortable and each room had safes. Town was about 15 minutes away. We really enjoyed being off on our own to catch up and there are no neighbors on one side of the property so for late nights we need not worry about making too much noise. There is a caretaker on property who we never saw unless we needed to and the rental company island escapes was very attentive to our limited requests. Many of us have vacationed in nice places all over the world. This venue is spectacular and we all had the same feelings post event - the meals, accommodations, views, setting and wonderful weather could not have been better and really made our trip so memorable. I would take this place over any five star hotel and if we go back to turks, this will be the first place I call."

  • Family Paradise

"I was about to write my review when I received this thank you note from one of my daughters and her husband. Thought it best describes our visit.."thank you for such an amazing vacation! The Turkes and Caicos was breathtaking, the house incredible, JoJo was awesome and Maya so sweet. We enjoyed everything, the hot tub, the beach, the pool, tennis courts, the snorkeling, the conch shack and all our dinners together! Charles and I are very grateful to have been part of such a luxurious vacation and we can't thank you enough". I would like to add a ditto to that also mention that the owners were delightful to work with!!! They do everything they can to make your stay as wonderful as described!"

Providenciales Travel Tips

Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss

Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.

As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.

Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise

Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.

There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!

Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!

For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
