  • Relaxing vacation in Beautiful Turks and Caicos!

"Blue Caribe was lovely, and absolutely lived up to our expectation for a terrific family vacation. The deck was a delightful place to read and relax, and especially nice for cooling off on a warm afternoon. The kitchen was the perfect size and it was very easy to find one's way around quickly. We had invited my in-laws to join us, and the layout of the house was perfect for three generations of a family with a variety of different interests. Heather Harrison was a delight from the start, and we loved that Ian keeps chickens! There was a small glitch with a mal-functioning refrigerator when we checked in on Monday, but Heather was terrific and kept us informed as to the scheduled repair. We enjoyed eating at Bugaloo's and Da Conch Shack, as they are on the beach and serve super-fresh fish and conch, as well as tasty rum punches :) I will absolutely recommend this house to friends and family, and we plan to return to beautiful Turks and Caicos. ---Dan and Melissa Campbell"

  • Great location and affordable price

"My wife and I recently stayed at Villa Daisanadu for a week. Barb was an excellent host and always available for questions and recommendations. This place is exactly as beautiful as shown in the pictures, it is a perfect place to stay for those who don't want to spend the ridiculous resort prices on TCI. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and it is convenient to anywhere you want to go on the island. We rented a small car from Caicos Wheels while on our trip and I would definitely recommend this option for anyone who is staying on the island. You do NOT need an SUV as many others have noted, a small Kia Picanto will get you anywhere you need and want to go. The apartment is a short 5-10 minute drive from most of the shops, restaurants, and beaches at Grace Bay. It is also a 10-15 minute drive to the more secluded beaches of Long Bay and Taylor Bay (both of which I would recommend visiting). Not much else to add from all of the other reviews other than I would highly recommend staying for those who appreciate the value of money and want to save it for the expensive cost of food on the island. Cheers!"

  • Best time and villa ever

"We had an amazing time at this beautifully appointed and maintained villa. The level of cleanliness, attention and service from Basia and her staff ranked this our best vacation in ten years. We are looking forward to our return."

  • Simply Amazing!

"We have been to Provo once before and stayed on Grace bay but this trip we were looking for something different, something away from the tourist areas but close to all the restaurants. We decided on Long Bay and it couldn't not have been a better location. The property is maintained by the owner and it shows. Each morning we were treated to a wonderful meal and that started the rhythm for the day. The weather was perfect and the ocean breeze never made it feel unbearable. The Manager/chef was Bob and having him was delightful. We will be returning to Provo and staying at this property in Long Bay is where we want to be. St Louis Family Dallas Tx"

Providenciales Travel Tips

Providenciales Vacation Rentals on 38 Square Miles of Bliss

Getting to Providenciales vacation rentals could not be easier. The island is home to the region’s only international airport. While it is the major resort area of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it is just 38 square miles. But those 38 square miles are a vacation paradise! Once you arrive for your Providenciales travel, venture to between the islands to discover each island’s unique characteristics. With a base in Providenciales, there are plenty of opportunities to take day trips out to explore the rest of this stunningly beautiful and tranquil area. It is close in distance to many major U.S. destinations, making it an ideal vacation for Americans. Temperatures here are constant throughout the year with averages between the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, with little humidity and rain. Although the islands are British territory, the currency is the U.S. dollar.

As recently as the 1960s, there were no cars on the islands. Now, visitors can hire a 4x4 Jeep to make exploring all those out-of-the-way places easy. Another great option is to use the Gecko Shuttle, operating from Grace Bay. Be sure to buy your token before you board.

Stay at Providenciales Villas on the Beaches and Discover Paradise

Provo, as it is called locally, is the most developed of the islands, with resorts, golf courses and casinos. When asked, many visitors say they come for the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The beaches are beautiful but there is much more to Provo that that! Such as the unique Caicos Banks, an undersea pillar that comes from the depths of the ocean to within 30 to 50 feet of the surface. This bank provides safe inshore waters, just perfect for snorkeling, swimming and boating. Outside of the bank is a treacherous reef notorious for wrecking ships which makes for great diving and deep sea fishing.

There are a few tips to be aware of when hitting the beaches here. All the beaches are free and public, including those by hotels and private homes. Most of the coastline is part of the national park, and fishing is not allowed from the beach. There are a huge variety of watersports for visitors, including jet skiing, jet boating, skiff boating, kayaking, glass-bottom boat trips, parasailing, banana boats, semi-submarine trips, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. If you're ready to try something more than snorkeling but not quite ready to try diving, try snuba!

Meet the World’s Only Performing Conch!

For the days when the beach doesn’t beckon, there are golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis, bicycling, jogging and soccer; you can also wander the miles of beach searching for shells and driftwood. Beach-combing can be one of the most delightful ways to spend a leisurely morning at Northwest Point. Here, the pounding surf brings new treasures with every wave. Then, of course, there are a variety of sights and attractions scattered around Provo. Try a visit to the Cheshire Hall Plantation Ruins, explore the spectacular caves and rock carvings at Sapodilla Hill and West Harbor Bluff, and sample the local beer with a visit to Turks Head Microbrewery and the world’s only conch farm at Caicos Conch Farm. Make sure to see the live show featuring some trained conchs!
