  • Amazing trip - we will be back

"My husband and I rented Al's condo for 2 weeks in April and we could not have had a better experience. Al's until has the best views of the beach and was very clean. Working with Al was very easy. He is very responsive and friendly. The weather was perfect the entire time. The location of this unit is in the heart of Grace Bay so it's easy to get almost anywhere you want to get to on Grace Bay. The beach and water are amazing and we spent many mornings and evenings on the balcony enjoying the views. The staff of the Alexandra are all friendly and accomodating. We learned so much about their culture just by talking to the staff. The Mango Reef has excellent food and a nice atmosphere. This was by far the best trip we have been on and we have traveled much of the Carribean. The island and people are beautiful and we felt very safe no matter where we traveled. Thanks, Al, for great accomodations. WE WILL BE BACK!!!"

  • Great Value on Grace Bay

"My husband and I stayed here for a week in June and had a great time. There are more high end resorts in provo but for the price, this place cannot be beat. Working with Michael was great. He answered e-mails quickly and was very helpful. The room at the Alexandra was very clean and had everything we needed. It was great that the amenities were included with this rental. We felt just like hotel guests but without the housekeeping services. I would recommend this rental for anyone looking for a great value on the nicest stretch of Grade Bay."

  • Great vacation rental

"We rented this property the first two weeks in November, a party of 6. The pictures on the website are spot on. A great open floor plan on the upper level, including a working kitchen. We cooked breakfasts and a couple of dinners while there but with the price of groceries it is just as affordable to eat out. The pool was fantastic -- deep enough to float about and cool off. We brought blow-up one-person rafts and they were perfect. So were the noodles, provided with the rental. We rented the property as it was going thru a change of ownership, and so we were very careful about our use of electricity based on the allocation plan. On breezy days we simply opened the windows and did not need the air at all. The cable TV went out for the neighborhood for about half of our stay. Luckily, the WIFI continued to work. We found out after the fact that the property manager had been lobbying on our behalf with the cable company. The beach was just a quick walk up the street and it was fabulous -- white sugar sand leading to turquoise waters with no rocks. We were also quite close to the Thursday Fish Fry, a must-see event. We rented a car and were glad that we did -- it allowed us to make runs to the grocery store and the Wine Cellar (great prices there!) in addition to providing access to the whole island. We visited some great restaurants while we there, going to some twice. Here is a list: Sweet T's for wings and fries -- cannot beat their pricing ( took to the airport on last day) Mr. Grouper for fabulous fish Bugaloos for a nice beach/bar meal Da Conch Shack for the same Magnolias for sunset cocktails and reasonable fine dining Hemmingway's for brunch Bay Bistro (at the Sibonne) for brunch Somewhere for cocktails and fish tacos Prices are high on the island, so be smart when shopping. Buy local! Limes were 10 for a dollar -- that beats US prices. Things that have to be imported (Oreos) are gonna run ya! Make sure you try the local rum (Bamberra) and beer (Turk's Head). In fact, you can go to the "brewery" and buy there at a lower price. Also, you can refill water in a gallon jug for 50 cents. Way better than buying gallons for a couple of bucks each at the grocery store. Hideaway is a good option for the island. Everything was clean and the ladies who came in to do the mid-week cleaning really outdid themselves. The propane grill was so clean it could have been brand new. We would love to return!"

  • Outstanding Home with Excellent Location

"Our week at Oceanview Villa was one we'll remember for a long time. The villa is very well designed, and worked great for two families and 10 guests. We really enjoyed the views of Grace Bay, and everyone liked relaxing by the pool. The location is excellent, as it is within a 10 to 15 minute drive of many great spots in Provo. The guest directory provided was extremely helpful, and it includes a list of the top things to see and do. We completed almost all of them, making this one of our best Caribbean vacations ever. Our most memorable day was spent on an Ocean Vibes charter, snorkeling and swimming, with a crew that made everything both fun and informative. Don't miss the Thursday fish fry at the park, it was a very fun activity that the young people in our family are still talking about (live music and dancing, good food, a very fun environment). You can't go wrong with a visit to this villa, and Katherine works hard to make sure your stay is outstanding."
