  • Paradise!

"Thank you so much Susan for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise with us! We truly enjoyed your lovely home and you seemed to have thought of everything to make your guests' stays very easy and comfortable. Location, location, location! Villa Ono is located on a quiet, bougainvillea-lined street, just a short walk to the beach, to the grocery store and to many other stores and restaurants. Our family of four (myself, my husband, and our two daughters, ages 18 & 19) arrived at Villa Ono by taxi on a Sat. and we did not rent a car until Wed. which allotted us plenty of time to explore Provo as well as North and Middle Caicos before departing. A car is not necessary but a good idea if you want to explore. Per Susan's recommendations, we rented from Grace Bay Car Rentals which is nearby the house and then returned it to the airport. A perfect set-up. All meals eaten in were enjoyed on the screened-in porch which was also good for nightly family games. Although you won't be swimming laps in the pool, it was so refreshing for a dip upon returning from the beach or just lazing in one of the lounge chairs on the side reading. Quite peaceful and relaxing. With the ease and efficiency of reserving the villa to the peace and comfort of the home itself, I can highly recommend Villa Ono. Thank you kindly, Susan, and we hope to return!"

  • Best location on the best beach

"This vacation rental--what can I say--the pictures are beautiful, but cannot do it justice. The most beautiful beach I have ever been to. White sand, turquoise blue water, and an oceanfront balcony with an unobstructed view of it all. Full kitchen, no oven, but a community grill to use whenever you need. Mango Reef is a great restaurant, and will deliver to your room. The restaurant is not cheap by any means, but not much on this island is--you get what you pay for. Beach chairs and umbrellas are always available, no matter what time you get to the beach. Plenty of excursions that leave right from the resort, and these seemed packed everyday. Housekeeping kept our place spotless everyday. The employees as a whole were not super friendly, but that has nothing to do with the great experience that we had at this vacation rental. For an out of the way experience, go to Bugaloos on Five Cays. Great meal, great views. We will definitely return to this vacation rental on Grace Bay!"

  • Great spot. Agree with all the positive reviews here

"-First time visitors to TCI from Canada. 6 adults (31 to 65) 3 kids (15mo to 5yo) visiting Feb 2015 -Home suited us very well. Lots of space, very comfortable and very clean as mentioned. -great pool, very lush landscaping contributing to a private feel, nice outdoor seating/ dining table -4 bikes (3 adult) , beach chairs, toys for kids....such a nice touch. -kitchen was very nice, very well equipped as advertised and they even have a good selection of spices too. -BBQ is there too which we used twice for family meals at the house. -beach was awesome. probably a 5-10 minute walk to the closest point. you could walk either direction. we were very surprised that the beaches were NOT busy, but then again you're not in a resort area until you start walking a ways west down the beach! -for making your OWN food you can go to the Marina (<10 min bicycle) which is a small high-end grocer (limited proteins). It's expensive. Bring a backpack (the bicycles have baskets too). Alternatively you can bike to Graceway gourmet (about 30-45 mins each way on bicycle). Or drive to graceway gourmet (10 mins by car) or to the less expensive IGA on the highway (15+ mins by car.). Snacks are expensive so consider bringing your own (eg granola bars) -Tonnes of good restaurants on the island.... they will provide you with dining guides and maps to help you find your way! Even the closest restaurants are a decently far walk, FYI but we walked as far as Hemingways (1 hour walk each way) -agree to strongly recommend bringing bug spray. lots of little "no-see-em" bugs which bite some people more than others. they're everywhere on the island so you just gotta be prepared to deal with them! -we loved walking (or cycling) into the grace bay commercial area but if you're not keen on exercise you would need a rental. -we rented a scooter for one day (just my wife and I) from paradise scooters to explore the island and we also rented a 10 person van (grace bay rentals) to explore the island with the entire family. No problems with any rentals. Scooter rental employee picked you up and brought you to the rental location (and returned you). The van rental company offered complimentary drop off at the house and pickup at the house (very handy). Scooter rental was $75USD for a day, van was $190USD. Driving on the opposite side was NOT challenging. People drive relatively slow compared to what we're used to. -we would all HIGHLY recommend Villa Tropica @ 25 Sandpiper. :)"

  • Top notch vacation rental - a gem!

"This was our second stay at Villa Vivace. It felt like our home away from home (only in a better climate!). Gul, the owner of the home, is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Her along with Dinesh, the property manager, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa was spotless! The house is caribbean style, big and airy, with large bathrooms and a kitchen that had everything we needed. Being on the canal was fantastic, as well as being near the marina where there are restaurants and a market that we could walk to. The gardens and flowering plants on the property are beautiful. The pool is a perfect size and always a comfortable temperature as it is in full sun all day. We will definitely be back!"
