  • Perfect in every way

"We stayed for 8 nights on our snorkeling vacation and would definitely recommend. The property exceeded our expectations. The bay is beautiful, fun to watch occasional boats come and go, and although it is a grassy and sandy bottom here the visibility was good enough to go for a quick dip here every morning and check in on our ‘locals’ which included starfish, spiny lobsters and a variety of fish. Check out the fish under the pier at The Pools next door. We snorkeled round to Starfish point and back. Our boys used the pool most days and it was always quiet. Stroll a few steps along the beach to the Yacht club for lunch, dinner or cocktails. The condo itself was excellently maintained and equipped, nicely decorated (ocean themed) and very comfortable. Our son slept on the aero bed the first night and would not give it up. It was superior to any sleeper sofa we have previously encountered. There is no dining table - just a breakfast bar - but we ate outside on the porch all the time. We loved the view from the living room and master bedroom/porch and we appreciated being on the quieter part of the island as opposed to 7-mile beach. It was sheltered compared to the north side, but there was still a constant pleasant warm breeze. The owners offered helpful suggestions on the best places nearby to go snorkeling. One of our favorites was the drift snorkel at Cayman Kai public beach, less than a 10 minute drive away."

  • Amazing property, amazing views!!!

"My husband and I rented this villa while we were in St. Thomas for our destination wedding. We thought this would be a nice getaway for both of our families (who had never met each other before the trip) to get to know each other in a relaxed setting. The photos online looked amazing, but in person, the property was simply beautiful. From the start, the owner, Joanne, was very responsive and flexible. Her property manager gave us detailed information before we arrived and one of her staff met us when we landed and guided us to the house (super helpful!!). The location was perfect for us, 5 minutes from Red Hook (shops, restaurants and grocery store) and 5 minutes from Lindquist Beach where we had our wedding ceremony. The villa was spotless and a fruit basket and bottle of rum awaited us in the kitchen which was well-equipped; this was a relief because we cooked most of our meals. Joanne also allowed us to have a small meet-and-greet at the villa and all of our guests loved the home and wished they could have stayed there with us. The large outdoor patio, grill, stocked bar, and indoor/outdoor music system were perfect for hosting our gathering. Our families liked that the home was big enough that they could hang out wherever they wanted but the common areas felt homey enough for when we spent time together. Watching the sunset down at the jetty in the evenings was relaxing and we enjoyed the gardens as well. We tried a little snorkeling but there weren't enough goggles and the snorkels leaked water (maybe an upgrade is in order?). The only downside to our visit was that the infinity feature on the pool wasn't working. We were told that someone would come by during our stay to fix it but that didn't happen. The water level also ran low but the landscaper added water when he visited. We got to chatting with him and learned that the Bay Rum leaf (which is grown on the property), when broken, helps to ward off mosquitoes (great for those who don't like spraying on repellent)!! Regardless, we enjoyed the pool for several hours each day. All in all, we had an amazing time and we were definitely more relaxed on our wedding day than if we had stayed at a resort. I would do it all over again, without hesitation. Thank you, Joanne (and staff) for making our first trip to St. Thomas such an enjoyable experience!"

  • Fabulous stay!

"I can't say enough good things about this condo, as well as the owner Francisco and the manager Euniz! They were both incredibly helpful and gracious. It is the perfect location - close to the rainforest, biobay, Luquillo Beach and the marina in Fajardo. If you want to drive into San Juan, it is only about 30-40 minutes away. The condo itself is right on the beach and sits between the two pools on the property. It has all the amenities that you will need and is very clean and well-organized. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!"

  • Absolutely Wonderful

"We have been going to Nassau every year for almost 30 years and stayed most everywhere on the island including Cable Beach, South Ocean and Paradise Island. We just returned July 22. We have stayed st Delaporte Point for the past eight years. What the owner has done to this townhouse is outstanding. This year's experience there tops anything that we have experienced in Nassau. The renovations to the house have an inspiring theme that speak to the life style in the Bahamas. It is a wonderful house to have for a vacation and to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Most days the water is smooth and the water color is awesome. There are ample and comfortable accommodations for all you need on a vacation; nicely equipped kitchen, large patio, comfortable beds, large living room area. From the patio you can see Cable Beach and Atlantis and cruise ships arriving and leaving the island. If you are patient enough you might see the several turtles that hang out near by in the ocean. We always go to Nesbits bar and restaurant for dinner at least four or five times. It is where the locals frequent. It is about 1/4 miles west. The food is reasonable and very good, that is why the locals go there. The Poop Deck is just outside of the area on the beach in walking distance and they have great food. We have the Poop Deck set up a table and umbrella for us on the beach and they will serve you food and drinks during the day right outside of the restaurant. At least once during our stay we go to Compass Point for snacks and drinks at sunset. It is about a mile west of Delaporte. They have great food and ocean side views that are worth seeing."
