Sunset over the ocean in your personal Pool Bar, it just doesn't get any better.
"We had an amazing time on St. Croix and the best part was Villa Dawn! The home couldn't be in a better location, it really is 5 minutes to the dive shop and Eat at Cane Bay and 4 Minutes to Off the Wall, both food and fun are within easy walking distance. Kent and Dawn are great to work with and very responsive if any situation arises. The home is well stocked, (I think we added a few items for your next guests), and the view is stunning! Sitting on the bar stools in the pool every evening with your favorite beverage watching the sunset over the bay is a magical time, and having pool-safe drink ware (even martini glasses!) made it easy and carefree. The beds are truly comfortable, and the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep each night. Even when it rains, (only for a few minutes), the covered deck is expansive and became our favorite night-time hangout after our daily pool swim. An incredible Weber gas grill is also under the deck, we put it to good use with fresh seafood when we felt like cooking at home. Make sure to try the Duck Chili at Eat at Cane Bay, the Pizza at Off the Wall, and anything on the menu at Rowdy Joe's is incredible. With the great folks at the Cane Bay Dive Shop minutes away just drop off your gear with them and schedule a few dives without the hassle of carrying everything back and forth. Ellen, Graham, and I can't thank you enough for making your home available to us for our vacation, I hope we respected it enough to be allowed back for another stay!"

"I am a scuba instructor who runs dive trips throughout the year for customers. We first visited St. Croix last year and fell in love with the island, the diving, and the friends we made. We booked another trip this year, but the house we had originally chosen to go back to was booked out from under us. Luckily, we found Larimar and Michael. From the first email to the day we left, Michael treated us like family. He was there to meet us at the airport when we landed and brought us back to the house. Larimar sits on the north shore, up on the hill overlooking Cane Bay area. The view is fantastic, and you are only a few minute drive from diving the Cane Bay wall. The house is very nice, and you can tell Michael is putting a great deal of work into the place. He was updating and fixing the property while we were there and cannot wait to go back and see all he's done with it. Larimar is centrally located on the island. We found it was a short drive to get to Christiansted, and a slightly longer but very straight shot to get to Frederiksted to dive the pier and go out with N2 The Blue. We had Kiki and the Flaming Gypsies perform for us one evening at the house. If you have not seen a fire show, Kiki and the rest of the group is a sight to behold. We were lucky enough to go out to dinner with them afterward, and they are the greatest, most down to earth group of folks you'd ever want to meet. This house is a great destination for families and for divers wanting to spend time on the island. The house is very nice, the view is perfect, and the host gracious. Michael is always willing to lend a hand or help where needed. A few of our ladies were not divers and wanted to go sightseeing and Michael took them for an afternoon of exploration and history and you can truly tell how much he loves St. Croix and wants to share it with visitors. We're already daydreaming about returning and have several trip goers asking us about a return engagement so we can't wait to head down island again."

"If you are the type of person/people that love nature, camping, and moving away from crowded cities, then you are looking for the suitable place. For us as a family with an 11 year old daughter, who loves to explore wild places, Cane Bay Campground was totally unexpectedly luxurious! The cabin, camp site, and bathroom facilities were perfectly organized and cozy. Thanks to the owners Jill and Bryan Updyke, the best, warmest, and friendliest hosts who made us feel at home.
P.S. You do not need to bring an alarm clock with you, there is a rooster that will bring joy with his cry's in the morning! =]"

"We enjoyed a great nine day vacation at Estate Cane Bay! The owners, Linn and Donna, were very accommodating to our needs. Their house is gorgeous and was immaculate, furnished with everything you could possibly need. The ocean view/sunsets from the house and spacious patios were breathtaking. We really appreciated the gourmet, well stocked kitchen. We loved bring able to mix up cooking at "home" and going out. Some of our favorite island restaurants were Off the Wall (great pizza and sunset shots), Villa Morales for a great Puerto Rican flavor, and Castaways for excellent lunch value. We thoroughly enjoyed lobster at Duggan's Reef our last night there. We had a wonderful family vacation relaxing at the beach, floating in the saltwater pool, sailing to Buck Island for snorkeling, shopping in Chritiansted, and so much more! This was a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation for us, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Linn and Donna, for sharing your lovely home!!"
