Best Season to USVI St. Croix Vacation Rentals

St. Croix has what some people refer to as a perpetual summer season. The tropical climate is consistently warm throughout the year with little seasonal variation. The only thing that distinguishes the seasons are the amounts of rainfall and humidity. While Christiansted can be visited year-round, the only season to be cautious of is the rainy season when tropical storms or hurricanes occur on occasion. This is between June and November, with most storms occurring in August and September. The island is well equipped to deal with hurricanes and has storm shelters. With the exception of tropical storms, rain showers do not generally last long. These showers usually occur in the early morning or evening, and are short-lived. The days, while humid, are still wonderfully sunny. The driest months are February and March and this is also the peak tourist season. Year-round, the water temperatures remain fairly constant, providing excellent diving and snorkeling conditions.
