  • Comfortable and Roomy!

"This is a genuine family home that comfortably accommodated our family for the week of our special event. What a wonderful place to have my daughter's wedding dinner. Brilliant open-design circulated both fresh air and sociable people very well. The kitchen is well equipped; good sized fridge/freezer and plenty of storage for a week’s worth of food. The setting is quiet, with a beach nearby for a daily swim (or two) and the garden had some new local wildlife (a baby bird near the patio wall). The out-door rinse off was a good idea for us with all the time we spent in the salty water, and there is clothes line! This property could not have accommodated our needs any better. It was more than we had expected. We even enjoyed some authentic coconut / lime cocktails with extra thanks to local manager. It is a reasonable drive to area sights, and makes the best possible place to just chill out and relax."

  • Wonderful View and Great Place for Family and Entertaining

"We had a wonderful time at Vista Paradise! The views of Buck Island are great! It was great to start the day with coffee overlooking the Caribbean sea!. The kitchen was well stocked and open with a view. We loved grilling and eating on the patio and dipping on the pool to cool off. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the layout was great for our four kids. We liked the tucked in secure feel of the long private gated drive. We were very comfortable with our security and location. It is a trek too the western side of the island, but you are very close to everything east of Christiansted. Our hosts were extremely responsive to the few requests we had including delivering a replacement blender in time for some wonderful Mango daiquiries! Be sure and get a rental car and stock up on Cruzan rum and groceries in sunny isle and you'll be set. there are nice beaches by Duggans (and wonderful seafood) and not far from Divi, Snorkeling, sailing, and East end dining. We would definitely recommend and stay here again! It was a great value and experience. Thanks for letting us share your beautiful island home!"

"From the moment we drove in the driveway and saw the professional hand-painted flowers on the entry pillars we knew that the owners took great pride in this home and we were not disappointed. As you can see from the very accurate pictures, the first thing you notice going through the white gate is a lovely pool, well landscaped, and with comfortable patio furniture and a covered cabana. A perfect place to grill, swim and relax! And then the moment arrives when you open the front villa door and you take in the unobstructed panoramic views of the Caribbean from every room on the main floor. WOW! This home is spacious and spotlessly clean, and again, you will see hand-painted murals that a local artist painted on the walls. It just sets the mood for spending a special time on this island paradise. The 3 bedrooms are on the lower level and there is an enclosed veranda which is the full length of the house so you can enjoy the same breathtaking views as the upstairs enclosed veranda. All of our inquiries to the owner were answered thoroughly and in a very timely manner. We stayed for 2 weeks and Ellie called twice to make sure that we were pleased with the accommodations and if we were enjoying our stay. ABSOLUTELY! From the first day of our trip to our last day on the island we so enjoyed this lovely villa on the premier east end of St. Croix. The owner's "attention to detail" to ensure that guests have everything they need for a pleasant vacation would take too long to list in this review. We were even pleasantly surprised to find a note in the kitchen inviting us to enjoy an "adult beverage" left behind by other travelers. It was a nice way to unwind after a day of traveling and we were happy to reciprocate and leave our "donations" for the next guests that stayed here. A nice welcoming touch to all those who stay at this villa. If you are looking for a villa that has been lovingly cared for and an owner who cares about making your stay as enjoyable as possible, Bella Vista is perfect for you. We loved it so much we plan on staying again in 2014. We can't wait to explore the island, revisit favorite restaurants (there are many excellent ones!), and enjoy the privacy and beauty of this hillside island paradise. Thank you Ellie and we look forward to seeing you again next year!"

"This was our second time renting this villa and were extremely happy with the accommodations on both trips, so clean and comfortable it felt like home. As stated in other reviews, the owner is just great to work with, no need to worry about a thing, he is helpful throughout. The Reef is such a unique condo complex, beautifully set in a hillside with each unit being very private. It is also very quiet and safe. To me, this is an ideal vacation spot and this villa has the absolute BEST VIEWS!!"

East End Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Visit East End St. Croix Vacation Rentals

East End St. Croix enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate. This means that there is rarely time of year when you wouldn’t want to visit. The most rain occurs in September and October and tropical storms do blow through on occasion. Aside from that, you can expect warm sunshine all year long. The trade winds provide a cooling breeze and rain showers blow over quickly. Many people visit between December and April to enjoy some tropical sunshine and escape from northern winter climates. The other popular tourist season is during June and July.

If you are a certified diver, you can enjoy diving on some of the best reefs in the world. The pristine diving conditions are just the cherry on top of the beautiful surroundings. The consistent trade winds provide ideal sailing conditions and the many sheltered bays in the US Virgin Islands provide safe natural harbors. In most marinas, you will be able to arrange a private charter to take you island hopping or exploring the coast.
