"Bob and Sue are amazing and the cottage was perfect. Great view of the water, Buck Island and the Sunset! Our room was clean and had a large comfy bed. The kitchenette was great too! (we didn't cook much, but we could've made a feast with all the pots, pans and cooking utensils).
The resort was great! the pool is brand new and beautiful, Hammocks and beach chairs on the beach, full bar with funny barmen, and a beautiful restaurant that looks over it all!
Highly recommend and 10/10 would go again!"

"We were greeted at the airport by the owner's assistant. She helped us with luggage and guided us back to the house. She was very helpful. When we arrived, we traveled up a LONG, gated, private driveway, to a vista with incredible panoramic views at the top of the hill. There were 8 people in our party, and we were never crowded at this house. There is so much room to spread out and enjoy every aspect from the expansive living rooms, to the patios and pool, or retreat to the private bedrooms, each with incredible sea views. The owner was more than accommodating in arranging everything we asked for, and then some. We have traveled all over from The Dominican, Costa Rica, etc., and this has been the best trip yet as far as the house and a gracious host. Thank you!! we would indeed return!!"

"Our family had taken a trip to St. John 15 years ago when our children were teens and stayed at Maho Bay, an eco camping experience and it was wonderful. This time we returned with adult children and decided a house would be more appropriate, given the differences in personalities and expectations. Alan and Sarah's home was perfect for a quieter stay on the east end. We rented two cars to allow flexibility in sightseeing and meeting up later. The double porches were great at allowing a constant breeze throughout the house, the DIVI resort was a quick walk down the hill for those who wanted to just spend time on the beach and the kitchen allowed us to have half our meals at "home", thus saving us money for some meals at the great restaurants scattered throughout the island. The rental process was smooth, any small concerns we had while we were there were quickly handled via email and the caretaker. The rental cost was worth every penny and we would return to this house just for the sunrises and gentle, warm breezes. Thanks for sharing your home with strangers."

"Matthew responsiveness is very excellent!!! I especially want to thank you for your generosity in the wake of the power outage that occurred during my stay on the island. I just vacationed for the first time in St Croix and months ago, started looking for accommodations. Unequivocally, I'd book this house again and will return! Spacious, well-appointed, this villa sits high on top of a cliff at The Reef Golf Resort, having views that are beyond dream-like. The breeze from the ocean is incomparable anytime of the day and tons of ceiling fans to cool the house down when temps soar too high!
Parking is close-by to the steps leading directly to house's front door. Two large bedrooms, both on different levels (great if you have kids) and both with its own full bathroom and views of the ocean. Laundry is in-house and on lower level; what a convenience!
On the upper level, kitchen/living/dining areas are open and perfect intimate family-dinners and entertaining; a lanai -- with BBQ grill and clothes-pen -- is steps-away from the kitchen.
When you want an alternative to the surf + sand, there's a huge pool for fellow guests that sits on a higher plateau, about 20 feet from this villa's back door. Beside the pool, that never seems to have more than a small handful of other vacationers, is a loggia and changing rooms.
Driving beyond the password-secure front gate (and you'll definitely want to rent a car to get around the island), paradise awaits ... Duggans Restaurant on the water has dinner only, but sunsets that are from the movies. TLC is an easy breakfast cafe located on near the Resort's property -- try there meat lovers breakfast sandwich! Further down the island some, is Point Udall -- breath-taking views of the oceans (and boasts the easternmost point of the USA). Of course, the island has tons to do and place to eat -- try Blue Water Restaurant (powered by solar panels) and Red Couch Cafe in town (organic breakfast and lunches).
Take my word for it ... if you're planning a trip to St Croix, book this beautiful villa, from Matthew."
