"I have stayed at this condo unit many times on business trips and on vacations with the family. The place is beautiful and has all the amenities you can want - like staying at a beautiful house. And a great and romantic view! The owner is great to get along with and trys to work with you on what ever is needed. Could not be more satisfied. Like a 2nd home for me - always look forward to returning."Guest: Stan Date of Stay: October 2013 Review Submitted: December 3, 2013View listing
"great place to stay ,great snorkling just out front on the tire reef, not crowed when we were there and love having laundry there especially with kids. The condo has towels and linnens, kitchen has cooking vessels, utensils all you need. The grill by the pool is kept clean by staff. The pool and garden area are clean and a great spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. There is much history here as well as activities of all kinds. For restaurants we liked Tavern,Angry Nates,LaRaine chicken shack(very affordable).good pizza from You are here. The best cosmos from Comanche in Hotel St.Croix."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 6, 2014View listing
"My parents, sister, brother-in-law, nephew and I stayed at Larimar in the middle of July and had an absolute blast. The home was perfect with plenty of room for us to spread out, and well-appointed. We all loved the open air living areas with the stunning views! The weather at the time was a little hazy but weather will be what weather is! It's too bad that the prior guests were disappointed. Michael HAD informed us a month before our arrival that he was working on a new A/C system but was not sure it would be fully functional for us, and that the cost of electricity is so high on the Island if we used it we may incur an additional fee. Frankly, when you are in the Caribbean, not having A/C is the norm, or at least in my experience (unless you want to stay at a hotel with stale recirculated air), and it will likely be hot & humid. Michael made sure we had everything we needed and/or wanted. We arrived late in the evening so he offered to pick up some groceries to get us through to the next day! And, because we arrived so late, he picked us from the airport and took us back the next day to get our rental car, at his own expense! Michael is an extraordinary property manager, concierge, tour director, and island historian! If not for Michael, we would have had a so-so vacation at STX. He took us to the mango forest, historical plantations, Rainbow Beach to hear one of the island's favorite musician, Kirk Schindler, and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations!!! He also brought entertainment to us one evening (on his birthday) -Kiki and the Flaming Gypsies ---fire dancers---WOW, they were wonderful and such delightful, smart women! The home was lovely and perfect for our vacation in St. Croix; I wouldn't change anything about it or Michael's services. Oh, and the three house cats didn't bother us, in fact, it was most likely the giant frogs making the little messes on the pool deck, not the cats....when you are in the tropics, there will be lizards, frogs, birds and bugs (no snakes on STX); and, you quickly fall in love with all the little critters! I can honestly say Michael is a new friend and I can't wait to see him again at Larimar! Thank you, Michael, for making our vacation one of our best family vacations!!!"Guest: Cathy Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: September 1, 2014View listing
"My family and I traveled to St Croix for a Christmas visit and found Bill's cottage to be the most fabulous place! We absolutely loved it! The first day there my son and 12 year old niece snorkeled in front of the house and discovered a sea horse and two green turtles ready to play with us! Staying at Bill's was such a treat. Everything you need to enjoy the Sun and sand is right there. Snorkel gear, kayaks, beach chairs, a cooler for the day trips, towels and even two palm trees that frame a perfect sunset or rainbow over the Caribbean! The cottage is close enough to walk to downtown Frederiksted it you want to pick up a Geko Tour, rent a Sunbug or visit Pier 69 for a taste of good home cooking. Much of the time we were content to just kick back and relax with something on the grill and a cold beverage as we listened to the surf. I would highly recommend this a the place to stay in St Croix. Thanks for making our first Christmas in the tropics fantastic!"Guest: Niece40 Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 1, 2014View listing
