"We stayed here for 8 nights and it is quite lovely here! Very lush tropical surroundings, beautiful flowers and a nice breeze. We had everything we needed here, including a blender to make rum smoothies every day (there is a large ice machine, fresh bottled water and washer and dryer in one of the out buildings to use). We enjoyed breakfast one morning out on the back deck listening to the birds. The cottage is extremely clean and welcoming. Plenty of beach towels too, and there is also a large pool with a covered seating area next to it with a water feature closeby that makes a tranquil retreat. We enjoyed playing with the resident dogs. Win is a wealth of information on the island and we appreciated her kindness (including some homemade bush tea). This is a real gem and what a bargain too! We definitely will book a return stay sometime in the future."Guest: Cheryl T. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 28, 2014View listing
"The Yellow Bird was beautiful and Unique. The house was spacious, clean, offered plenty of family space but also lots of privacy. The owner Zendarene was just lovely, hospitable and very kind. The grounds are spectacular! Our family really enjoyed our stay and I'd definitely book to visit Yellow Bird again!"Guest: Kerey R. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 29, 2014View listing
"Description and photos were accurate regarding location and property. Property was clean enough but the place did need some repairs: cannot open all the windows, rotten wood around various windows/doors (which attracts ants), washing machine needs a new dial to select washing program (pliers were supplied but the setting is unclear without the dial), perhaps a new grill would be nice (left side did not function and the right side cooked erratically.) Being a homeowner, I know these things are easily fixed. If the friend or relative were not too fussy, I would definitely recommend this spot. I loved being able to sleep with windows and doors open with the fresh air blowing in and being able to pop into the pool whenever I felt like it. I also loved eating outside beside the pool at breakfast and dinner. The property manager was very nice and personable. We would stay here again."Guest: Jeffrey C. "We have visited St. Croix a couple of times in the past 10 years and this was by far our favorite spot. You have your own private peninsula, awesome views of the sunset and an amazing patio. Living area is not for large families but otherwise it's perfect. Very clean and quiet but close enough to town to go out when you want to. We will definitely be returning and booking earlier next time so we get our preferred days. Bottom line is you will love it."Guest: Joerockvox Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: December 21, 2014View listing
