"My boyfriend and I spent 16 nights at the villa and absolutely LOVED it! The location is excellent, East End of the island is definitely the area you want to stay in. The villa is only a few miles from Christiansted but the roads all over the island are curvey, slow and not well kept-up so walking and/or biking is not really an option. You definitely need a car ANYWHERE you stay on the island in order to see everything. The villa itself is clean, nice, very cozy and comfortable. The only issues we found were the stove and microwave are pretty outdated, we cooked a lot of our meals so this was of importance to us. Also the neighbors upstairs were loud on occasion, but if you are used to people walking above you then you will have no problems! It was definitely quieter than any hotel would have been! It was WONDEFUL having the pool right outside the back door! On days where we didnt want to beach it we spent our time out there, it was also a very nice spot to stargaze at night! Everything was very clean and well-kept, and the full-time residents were very pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this villa for your visit to St. Croix, especially for the price! It was a great deal and we had an amazing time in such a beautiful place. We cannot wait to go back!"Guest: Katy J. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: March 23, 2014View listing
"This was our second time renting this villa and were extremely happy with the accommodations on both trips, so clean and comfortable it felt like home. As stated in other reviews, the owner is just great to work with, no need to worry about a thing, he is helpful throughout. The Reef is such a unique condo complex, beautifully set in a hillside with each unit being very private. It is also very quiet and safe. To me, this is an ideal vacation spot and this villa has the absolute BEST VIEWS!!"Guest: Judy M. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 7, 2014View listing
"We had the most amazing 8 day vacation ever! We couldn't have picked a better house or island to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary! The house is spacious, beautiful & has everything you could need. The views from the house are stunning & Lorraine was absolutely a pleasure to work with. We visited St. Croix 3 years ago on a cruise & we said then we would come back to St. Croix. Of all the islands we have been to there was just something special about St. Croix that we fell in love with. We really enjoyed meeting the locals & learning all about the beautiful island of St. Croix. Cheeseburgers just down the road from the house is great & Brenda there was fabulous! We went there several times & Brenda had to love on us our last night there. We almost cried when we had to tell her goodbye!!:-( Ziggy's just down from the house was nice. Good little bar called Libation Station, good/quick food & nice little convenience store but beware they have a 10.00 min. for cards and we were rudely told that on our 5th trip there and about 200.00 in total purchases later! Spratnets Bar on the West End, nice little beachside dive where Calvin the owner & Rachel the bartender are just fantastic!! Some points of interest we recommend: Point Udall (especially to see the sunrise), Off-roading on the West End (4 wheel drive needed), Cruzan Rum & Captain Morgan Distillery Tours, Rainbow Beach & Rhythms there (best lime n de coconut ever), Ft. Christian Brew Pub & Angry Nate’s on the Boardwalk in Christiansted, Jazz in the Park on the last Friday of the month, definitely find one of the many dirt paths on the side of the road and take it down to your own private beach (all of the beaches in St. Croix are public access), Hike to the Tide Pools (however let me give a disclaimer on this one the hike is about 6 miles round trip and very strenuous through the thickness of the rainforest. We are avid hikers & hike the Smoky Mountains a lot & we both agree it was the most difficult & strenuous hike we have ever done!!), Cramer’s Park just down the road from the house for a nice beachside picnic & to watch the sunset. Of course there were a ton of things we didn’t get to see or do like Buck Island, Sandy Pointe or the Beer Drinking Pigs so we will definitely be back to Villa Leja! We were so sad to leave. I definitely left a piece of my heart on St. Croix & Lorraine truly has a piece of paradise in Villa Leja! One day we hope to be lucky enough to own a piece of paradise on St. Croix!"Guest: Dave Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 8, 2014View listing
"We all had a great vacation. I have stayed at the reef for the past 3 years and love it. It is clean, comfortable and the views are amazing. Was pleasantly surprised to find new ceramic top stove/oven, sink/faucet and countertops in kitchen!! The condo is perfectly positioned with a fantastic view of Buck Island and the golf course and close to the amazing pool area perched on top of the resort. At night the stars are so close you feel like you can touch them. Condo was fully stocked with food and libations upon arrival by BubblesUSVI, breakfast was most mornings at The Deep End, wonderful dinners were had at Bluewater Terrace, Duggans, Bombay Club, Castaways, Angry Nates and Maria's at Gallows Bay....best Mexican ever!! Of course "The Master" Capt Lou took us out to Buck Island for snorkeling and hanging out at the beach on Charis. Love hanging out at Ziggy (try the ROTIS...Yummy). We spent a whole day going around the whole Island sightseeing and shopping. Beach at the Divi is also good for snorkeling and sunbathing. I have already booked for two...yes two weeks in June 2015 ....am looking forward to returning to this amazing condo and "life in the left lane". Thanks Laura for sharing your piece of paradise!!"Guest: Jane Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 5, 2014View listing
