  • Exactly what we needed for vacation

"The one-bedroom was extremely clean, there were plenty of kitchen supplies, it is centrally located on the island, and the patio overlooked the ocean. There is a pool/hot tub - but we were so enamored with exploring the numerous beaches, we never used it! Our favorites on the island included ocean kayaking from the Tamarind Resort (1/2 day rental is $30 for single, $40 for double kayak) - we were able to kayak out to a deserted island and along several remote beaches. We also paddleboarded off of Rainbow Beach and hiked to the tide pools. We really enjoyed going during low season, because we had the majority of the beaches all to ourselves!"

  • Wonderful Villa

"We lost count of all the incredible rainbows and variations of blue in the Carribean - what views! We just spent 10 days at Whispering Palms and had a great experience. The property and pool are lovely (well maintained) and are surrounded by breathtaking Buck Island views. The house is "island" comfortable, well appointed and easy to settle in and feel secure. You can easily vacation with a group and have private sleeping/bath areas....or be a little indulgent as a couple, like we did! Situated well to local convenience and restaurants. Property managed well, attentive to guests needs."

  • Blue Horizon - Great Choice

"My husband and I spent a week at Blue Horizon in Cotton Valley on St. Croix in May 2014. We picked this house rental out of several for the view and affordable price and were not disappointed! The view was breathtaking and the colors of the water changed every day depending on the time of day and weather. There was a constant breeze so we left the windows open instead of running the AC. We spent a lot of time on the pool deck and in the pool and hammock. We know there were houses close-by but you could not tell due to foliage or they were on other hillsides. The house itself was nice and in great shape. It is not luxurious but the high ceilings and tons of windows to look out at the awesome view made us feel like we were living in luxury! Landscaping all around the house was tropical and very pretty. The owner was very responsive to emails and phone calls asking questions and getting deposits/payments made via Paypal. The very helpful Property Manager, Lou, met us at the airport and we followed him through The Buccaneer Resort and then to the house. The house is not far from The Buccaneer Resort (their Mermaid Beach was our favorite on the island) had the best snorkeling, nicest water, and cleanest beach. As others have mentioned, it is great that there are beach towels, beach chairs, music, movies, and a ton of other things other people have left so look around before going shopping. We thought Food Fair was the best grocery store, but if you need something quick, Ziggy's Island Market is close-by on 82. Ziggy's also sells cooked food and fuel. Downtown was about 15 minutes away and we thought the restaurant You Are Here had excellent pizza and Fort Christan Brew Pub had the best blackened mahi sandwich. I would recommend downloading Navigon before your trip so you can easily get around the island. Staying at this hillside rental was definitely the best choice we could make for a perfect vacation! We look forward to returning there someday."

USVI/St. Croix Travel Tips

St. Croix Vacation Rentals on an Island of Contrasts

The largest of the United States Virgin Islands, visitors to Caribbean resorts find St. Croix a great location. St. Croix is part of the Antilles chain, separating the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans. Those choosing St. Croix vacation rentals will find an island of contrasts, with dry cactus areas and lush rain forest. Choose St. Croix villa rentals for great weather all year.

St Croix Vacation Rentals Allow You to Visit Unique Towns with Individual Character

The two main towns, each with its own unique character are Christiansted and Frederiksted. Visitors to St. Croix vacation rentals in Christiansted will be staying in a national historic Site. These St. Croix villa rentals are surrounded by wonderful shops and some of the finest diving spots in the Caribbean. Further north is Frederiksted, near the site where Columbus first landed in 1493. Whichever of these

Caribbean resorts you choose, you will be guaranteed a wonderful vacation.

St. Croix Villa Rentals Offer Undiscovered Charm

Staying in St. Croix vacation rentals, visitors are delighted to find that this island remains largely “undiscovered” by tourism. These Caribbean resorts may be quiet but they are definitely visitor-friendly. The island has some of the best opportunities for eco-tourism in the Caribbean, from exploring the island’s mountains to its coral reefs. Those staying in St. Croix villa rentals can head to the hills on horseback or kayak down the Salt River.

Caribbean Resorts Are a Diver's Delight

One thing that visitors to St. Croix villa rentals won’t be is bored. The island has enough to see and do to keep you coming back year after year. Visitors to Buck Island Reef National Monument will enjoy the fabulous nature trail across the island. Visitors to St. Croix vacation rentals find white, sandy beaches and crystal-clear water, perfect for snorkeling. The diving here is second to none and includes "the wall," a drop-off on the north shore area. The wall runs almost the entire length of the shore and keeps divers occupied for days! No one can be bored in these Caribbean resorts.
