  • Relaxing getaway

"great place to stay ,great snorkling just out front on the tire reef, not crowed when we were there and love having laundry there especially with kids. The condo has towels and linnens, kitchen has cooking vessels, utensils all you need. The grill by the pool is kept clean by staff. The pool and garden area are clean and a great spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. There is much history here as well as activities of all kinds. For restaurants we liked Tavern,Angry Nates,LaRaine chicken shack(very affordable).good pizza from You are here. The best cosmos from Comanche in Hotel St.Croix."

  • Amazing Anniversary Trip

"We had the most amazing 8 day vacation ever! We couldn't have picked a better house or island to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary! The house is spacious, beautiful & has everything you could need. The views from the house are stunning & Lorraine was absolutely a pleasure to work with. We visited St. Croix 3 years ago on a cruise & we said then we would come back to St. Croix. Of all the islands we have been to there was just something special about St. Croix that we fell in love with. We really enjoyed meeting the locals & learning all about the beautiful island of St. Croix. Cheeseburgers just down the road from the house is great & Brenda there was fabulous! We went there several times & Brenda had to love on us our last night there. We almost cried when we had to tell her goodbye!!:-( Ziggy's just down from the house was nice. Good little bar called Libation Station, good/quick food & nice little convenience store but beware they have a 10.00 min. for cards and we were rudely told that on our 5th trip there and about 200.00 in total purchases later! Spratnets Bar on the West End, nice little beachside dive where Calvin the owner & Rachel the bartender are just fantastic!! Some points of interest we recommend: Point Udall (especially to see the sunrise), Off-roading on the West End (4 wheel drive needed), Cruzan Rum & Captain Morgan Distillery Tours, Rainbow Beach & Rhythms there (best lime n de coconut ever), Ft. Christian Brew Pub & Angry Nate’s on the Boardwalk in Christiansted, Jazz in the Park on the last Friday of the month, definitely find one of the many dirt paths on the side of the road and take it down to your own private beach (all of the beaches in St. Croix are public access), Hike to the Tide Pools (however let me give a disclaimer on this one the hike is about 6 miles round trip and very strenuous through the thickness of the rainforest. We are avid hikers & hike the Smoky Mountains a lot & we both agree it was the most difficult & strenuous hike we have ever done!!), Cramer’s Park just down the road from the house for a nice beachside picnic & to watch the sunset. Of course there were a ton of things we didn’t get to see or do like Buck Island, Sandy Pointe or the Beer Drinking Pigs so we will definitely be back to Villa Leja! We were so sad to leave. I definitely left a piece of my heart on St. Croix & Lorraine truly has a piece of paradise in Villa Leja! One day we hope to be lucky enough to own a piece of paradise on St. Croix!"

  • Best on Island

"We have visited St. Croix a couple of times in the past 10 years and this was by far our favorite spot. You have your own private peninsula, awesome views of the sunset and an amazing patio. Living area is not for large families but otherwise it's perfect. Very clean and quiet but close enough to town to go out when you want to. We will definitely be returning and booking earlier next time so we get our preferred days. Bottom line is you will love it."

  • Simply amazing!

"Paradise at its finest! As privacy lovers this met our criteria 100%! Everything about this property from the pool, open/glass front room, just a few steps to a private beach and gentle off shore breeze was phenomenal. The management company meeting us at the airport so we could follow them to the property is a nice touch, not to mention all the great help in recommendations for local cuisine and the like."
