"The Sugar Beach condo was just right for a family traveling with twin 10 year old sons and their grandparents. Though the condo is pretty basic, the three bathrooms were convenient and the upstairs loft was fine for the boys to sleep in. We enjoyed the swimming pool and walking on the beach in front of the condo. The staff at Sugar Beach are very friendly and accommodating. Our suggestion to the owner would be to purchase a DVD player for the unit and to check on the phone which wasn't working when we were there. We ate at Breezes which we enjoyed. We also like Rum Runners for a relaxed meal on the water, and for a nice dinner out we loved the view of the water and live music at Pelican Bay. Enjoy!"Guest: Kiki Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 13, 2014View listing
"From the initial contact with the owner, LaVaughn, it was a pleasant experience. She treated me with all the respect and courtesy anyone can ask for. When I arrived, everything was exactly as advertised on the ad. The room was clean, the location is excellent, WiFi, cable, and all the amenities are included as promised. I felt very safe in the area, which is always important and the property is gated! Mostly everything you need is within walking distance, like bars, the boardwalk, some restaurants, etc. HOWEVER, please rent a car as soon as you get to the airport as not all the beaches and activities are in the area, and you may want to go to Frederiksted and the rest of the island's beaches. There's so much to see. Do not miss out on sightseeing as taxis are quite expensive. Another huge tip: when you arrive, make a bee line for the supermarket and get some groceries as eating out is quite expensive. Again, all the kitchen utensils and cookware are included as well. Enjoy your stay!"Guest: Miguel Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: July 8, 2014View listing
"The stay here was amazing. From the view to the amenities to the helpfulness of the owners, it was truly a wonderful experience. The amazing view and sound of the ocean was incomparable. When we got home, our house sounded too quiet because there was no sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The condo is close and convenient to everything and the property itself is maintained well, quiet and relaxing. The balcony is large and you could look out over the water for hours. The inside of the unit is very comfortable, decorated nicely and has all the comforts of home. There is a restaurant within walking distance at the Palms at Pelican Cove (that has a theme most nights, including Caribbean night on Thursdays) and there are many other places to eat, shop and explore a short car ride away. The pool area was very nice and quiet too and the beach was great to sit at and look out at the water. The owners provided a lot of information and helpful tips to enjoy beautiful St. Croix. Nothing is far away from this location. It is a great place to stay on a very special island."Guest: Aimee L. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: July 9, 2014View listing
"Beautiful !!! Very spacious and clean. With 3 bathrooms and 2 VERY large bedrooms, it was perfect for our family. We loved being so close to the beach and being able to hear, see and smell the ocean. The Owners and Manager were super friendly and helpful. The view was breathtaking. Wifi signal was pretty weak which was fine with me but my teens were lost without their tech stuff. The pool was a wonderful place to hang out at night. The landscaping was beautiful."Guest: Joyce Wilson L. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 18, 2014View listing
