  • Returned for the Month of March 2015

"This is a beautiful property inside and out. Everyone is very friendly and so helpful that you will feel like home and never want to leave. Great snorkeling , and exploring the island is always very exciting. You will know that you are in Paradise the moment you arrive."

  • What a great property!

"We just got back from a week-long stay at The Beachhouse and it was amazing. We were seven adults and five kids and the house was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms to spread out in but lots of communal space to get together. The dining room table actually accommodated all of us together! The pool was smallish but plenty big for our needs and there are plenty of outside furniture for everyone to enjoy. The "beach bar" with both gas and charcoal grills, running water and a fridge was a terrific addition for the nights we cooked in. Bathrooms are spacious and very well equipped. Air conditioning (and you'll need it especially in summer months) was more than adequate. A very well equipped kitchen made it a breeze for meals and snacks. And the property manager could not have been better -- she even picked us up at the airport and took us grocery shopping. All in all, a perfect vacation!"

  • Island Oasis -- nice, comfy condo in a great location

"Location, location, location. This condo is about 10 minutes from Christiansted, 15 minutes from the airport, 20-25 minutes to Frederiksted and about 10 minutes to the scenic road that takes you along the northwestern coast of the island to Carambola and Cane Bay (both solid beaches). We were able to enjoy all that St. Croix has to offer. We went horseback riding, ATVing, visited the island's best restaurants and spent many a lazy day on various beaches. Cynthia is great. If you have a problem, she's on it (we had only one, with the door lock; it was resolved with one phone call inside three minutes). She has plenty of creature comforts taken care of when you arrive, including plenty of nice beach towels. The condo is in a quiet community right next to The Palms, so if you need a good bite to eat or beachside drink, it's a 3-minute walk. The condo was plenty spacious for four people, and there's a nice, big porch with a water view, gas grill and plenty of seating. There are lots of windows and on mild days, you can create a nice airstream through the living room by opening a few. And Cynthia did not skimp on the king-size beds. They're quite comfy. If there's one drawback, it's that there's no really good place to swim off the beach at the complex, but you'll find that in St. Croix, beaches have different purposes (snorkeling, sunbathing) and only a few (the Buccaneer, 10 minutes away) have the soft, white sand you might find on, say, Florida's Gulf Coast. In any case, the complex has a massive pool with swimming lanes and a hot tub, so you won't be too put out if you need a dip. Did I mention the location? Not to harp, but my buddy's a big scuba diver. He was at his boat every morning within 10 minutes. We rode horses down Cane Bay Road and into the ocean, about 15 minutes away. Afterward, we ate at Eat@Cane Bay, which was tasty. Two of our best dinners -- at 40 Strand and Savant (do NOT sleep on the chocolate rum cake with bacon-pecan ice cream) -- were a 10-minute drive. And if you hit 40 Strand, be sure to catch some tunes at the Rum & Wine bar across the street. I think it's called Rum & Wine. If you head out to Frederiksted -- we took 4-wheelers to a mountaintop, then into a rain forest -- you'll want to have breakfast at Polly's at the Pier. Delicious. Rainbow Beach and Sand Castles at the Beach are both good places to enjoy some sun, sand and surf. All in all, you'll enjoy the island and you'll appreciate being centrally located in Pelican Cove."

  • Perfect stay on St Croix!

"We stayed for two weeks in March, and couldn't ask for a better place/location to stay. The grounds and amenities were pristine and very well maintained. The location of this Dreamy Villa allowed for amazing views overlooking the golf course, the ocean and Buck Island. Morning coffee on the patio was always the best start to the day (look closely as you may observe whales breaching out near Buck Island). The complex was extremely quiet with friendly residents, which lead to feeling extremely safe and secure. The villa has everything you need to enjoy a nice relaxing day at home and the location provided a nice home base from which to explore the many nearby beaches/attractions. The hosts Doug and Nicole made us feel welcome in their home and were only an email away for a personal check-in or response to any question. This villa made our first trip to St Croix an experience we will never forget and would not only hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay here but would be our first choice if and when we make a return trip."
