"Stayed at Toucan House March 2015 for a week. Very good place to stay in St Croix. Good quiet location with no security issues. Great layout for a two bedroom unit - the teenager's bedroom was well separated from ours! The pool (and everything else) was very clean and well maintained. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the beach but with a multitude of beaches, all public access and all with their own unique attraction with respect to snorkeling, body surfing, etc. I think the non beachfront location is an advantage. Very close to Point Udall and the hiking path to Isaac's Bay and plenty of nearby great places to eat, drink, and bask in the island pace of life.
Everything from meeting at the airport (in spite of US Air costing us a day of vacation), orienting to the facility, and closing down at the end of the stay was handled superbly. I highly recommend Toucan House and would stay there again without hesitation."

"The estate was a very tranquil, beautiful, and gave our family space and togetherness. The beach, pool, deck, and house were beyond our expectations. The bedrooms each had their own baths and the bedrooms were stylish and comfortable. The trade winds were always blowing and the sunrise was a great way to start each day. Our family truly enjoyed St. Croix!"

Modern loft with everything you need to enjoy an island vacation!
"We stayed for 8 nights at the loft at the Reef and really enjoyed ourselves. The place is well stocked with nice snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrella, pool floaties, and pantry staples. There was even bottled water and Cruzan rum when we arrived, which made us feel extra welcome! It was definitely a home away from home :) The condo was very clean and well maintained. The only thing to be prepared for is low water pressure in the shower since the island is currently in a drought and people try to conserve water as much as possible.
For nearby beaches, would highly recommend Shoys (by the Buccaneer). There isn't a restaurant or bathrooms there, but it's a beautiful sandy beach that's pretty secluded and in a small bay with calmer water. For food, we really enjoyed Galangal (Thai food) in downtown Christiansted."

"We just returned from a wonderful week at Lime Tree Villa. This was our first visit to St. Croix and it was very helpful that they arrange for someone to meet us at the airport and a Jeep rental with Centerline. Villa Madeleine is located on the East End of St. Croix and it was very quiet (especially in June). Our family was looking for a place to relax and enjoy each other - Lime Tree Villa provided! The location of this unit is perfect - being at the top and having Buck Island views. I think the location also provided for amazing breezes 24 hours a day. We spent almost our whole week at the pool - it was very private and pool floats and toys are provided! Our son LOVED having the separate bedroom area and of course his parents did too! I'm not sure the separate bedroom layout would work with small children, but with a teenager or another couple it truly is perfect. The bedrooms had AC which we ran at night. Villa Madeleine provides night security and we would see them walking around at night checking on things with a flashlight. This is a plus! Pack light - there is a washer and dryer and we spent most days in our swimsuits.
My husband and 15 year old son played golf at The Reef twice - they loved how quick it was to get to the course ad the friendliest of the staff. We also spent a day at the Buccaneer Resort - I enjoyed the beach while the boys golfed. We did our grocery shopping at Seaside Market and were able to prepare most of our meals at the villa. Yes the kitchen is small, but it is adequate! TLC restaurant at the Villa entrance has yummy homemade bread and great sandwiches and salads.
What a wonderful Island escape for our family! We loved our visit to St. Croix and our stay at Lime Tree."
