"My wife and I spent five nights at Sea Cottage and the place was perfect!! Monika and Jorge were great and the cottage was in great condition with lots of attention to detail. We have stayed different places, both with and without our kids. This is by far the best place for a couple!!! The view is amazing, the location is perfect, it is very private and you have everything you need. We will stay at Sea Cottage again, and will schedule our trips around its availability. If you want a great getaway, stay here!"

Perfect Luxury Vacation Property - look no further!
"Villa Rhapsody exceeded our expectations in every way. The views are expansive and beautiful, and can not truly be captured in photos. The location is ideal. It's just a short drive to downtown St. John yet located atop a small cliff to ensure total privacy.
The villa itself is beautiful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate and the other living spaces were comfortable and very well equipped (not to mention the outdoor sound system). Every bedroom has an ocean view! The infinity pool and the Jacuzzi are also beautiful. Tons of outdoor tables, dining areas, outdoor sofas, and deck chairs to enjoy the amazing unobstructed views of the water and neighboring islands.
Before venturing off property to snorkel at one of the local beaches, we were quite pleased to find a cache of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, blankets, towels, umbrellas, coolers, kids toys, and more.
The staff at the villa were great too! Both Richard and the on-site property manager, Tommy, could not have been more accommodating. From arranging our car rental to advising on top restaurants and a private chef. They thought of everything and were always available to assist with any of our needs.
The villa is great for a romantic getaway or large groups. We had such a great and relaxing time. Villa Rhapsody is truly an amazing place. We look forward to going back to as soon as possible."

"This was a very nice house to stay in. FYI: this was my 6th trip to St. John and we've stayed in a different place each time. This trip, we stayed with another couple. Our friends stayed in the "better" suite with the double doors to the veranda. Very cute room, and the pictures make it look very lovely. It is, but... the curtains needed to be shut all the time because someone lives downstairs and there was construction happening on the sidewalks around the place. There were people walking around often enough to mandate closed curtains and loss of the sunny room. There were no curtains on the bathroom so my friend had to tape a garbage bag up. (though someone did come and hang some curtains one day when we were out). The other bedroom was okay. Someone else complained that the bathroom needed updating. Either it had been or I thought it was fine. I do understand that updates don't happen in the VI like we are accustomed to in the states because material and labor cost so much there, so maybe I'm just more understanding. That being said, the peeling paint on the jaccuzi deck REALLY does need to be re-done. It's just bad. Also, we were told that the jacuzzi heats on a timer, but it was never (never) warm enough for us to use. The living areas are beautiful. The location is great as it is a very easy and quick drive into town, the roads/driveway is good."

"Let the journey begin! Day one: land on St Thomas at 3:40, last ferry to St. John 6:00. MY wife and I go to the rental car counter and the lady says I see you reserved a 4X4, sorry we are out. Well I have to have a 4x4, ok we should have one in half an hour or so. At 5:00 she tells us still no 4x4 but I can give you this Rave 4 which is all wheel drive and should work fine for you. So running out of time we go with it. Made it to the ferry on time, headed to St John. First stop Starfish for groceries then off to our home in paradise. Finally to the drive way to Surf Sound Cottage about 7:30 and its now dark. First attempt up the drive about ten yards, second attempt about twenty yards. We are dead in the water, on dry steep land! We dig our tennis shoes out of our bags and proceed to lug out luggage and groceries up the mountain driveway approximately 150 yrds. After three trips its now about 9:00 and we are heating up frozen home made spaghetti that we brought form home. Sitting on the star light porch eating and laughing, what could we do. About the frozen spaghetti, we packed frozen meats in a collapsible cooler and put it in our luggage as you don't need a lot of clothes. Every thing was still frozen solid twelve hours later. Day two: had the rental car co. bring us a 4x4. For the next nine days we were up with the sun (5:15 or so). Here are our thoughts on the beaches of St. John. Little Lameshire Bay is close to the house and was the first to be explored. Down a rough dirt road but worth the drive. Salt Pond Bay also close to the house and one of our favorites. Quarter mile hike, saw green sea turtles as well as the usual tropical fish. North beaches are awesome. Phyllis is a runner so we parked at Leinster Bay and while she was running for about an hour I was packing our snorkel gear to the point at Waterlemon Cay. Snorkeling around this small island (Waterlemon) we saw a nurse shark snoozing under a rock and all the usual tropical fish. This was by far the best snorkel spot but keep in mind you need to be a strong swimmer to do this one. For an easier under water adventure, Francis Bay is perfect. Walk as far as you can to the right, enter the water and you will see lots of turtles, rays, conch, and a nurse shark. Explore them all!! We would get there early to avoid the crowds, then drive the island to take in its awesome views. By 3:00 each day we were back home to enjoy the cool breezes on the sun deck and ready for a home cooked meal. :)"
