  • Home away from home

"We have been going to St. John for 10 plus years and are so excited to have found Tree Tops. Have stayed there many times in the spring and fall and each time is more amazing than the last. The house is very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Even provides beach chairs to take to the beach! Large kitchen has every thing you need plus more (Even a wine fridge). Large deck, pool, hot tub and out door shower with comfortable patio furniture. Who needs more after a long day at the beach or in town shopping. The location is ideal. Half way between Cruz Bay and Coral Bay and many beached every where. The yard has great vegetation giving you the tropical feeling and atmosphere. Bird feeders are hanging for you to enjoy the many Banan Quits and Humming birds. A lovely two story guest house provides tropical privacy and comfort. Very calming and safe. I recommend reading the house book provided. It will tell you everything you need to know about your stay. Even has some great recipes to try! I have truly found my home away from home!"

  • Beautiful!!

"This is our 4th visit to St. John and Almost Heaven is by far the most beautiful villa we have ever stayed in.....it is truly AMAZING! When we walked into this lovely home, we immediately knew it was built with fine craftsmanship & expertise. We admired all the beautiful details of the villa such as the stone walls adorned with beautiful sea shells, the unique tile work throughout, the open ceilings, the incredible screened-in porches with magnificent views of coral bay....really enjoyed those breath taking views while having meals on the large & spacious porch. The villa also has a large, beautiful pool & hot tub & 2 outdoor showers. It has a quality grill that we often used to grill hamburgers, chicken and brats for dinner. I appreciated that the stairs leading down to the lover level were built inside (instead of outside) the house (we have kids). The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, silverware, pot/pans, glasses (plastic & glass), cooking utensils, etc. There is a Keurig coffee maker as well as a regular brew coffee maker (great for coffee from St. John Spice located right by the ferry dock on Cruz Bay). There is also a blender we used to make our lime coladas! The appliances all looked new and worked well (over/stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, washer/dryer). Beds are very comfortable (extra sheets, blankets and pillows in all the rooms) and lots of cabinet/drawer space for clothing. All of the bedrooms have sliding doors that go out to the beautiful porches as well as air conditioning, ceiling fans and safes. There are plenty of towels (kitchen, bath and beach) available as well as coolers and beach chairs. The villa was very clean and had extra soap and toilet paper. The driveway to the villa is a bit steep and intimidating at first (rent a four wheel drive vehicle) however, after driving up and down a couple of times, it was not a bother. When we first arrived at the Villa, Sylvester the property manager gave us the keys and showed us around. He was very kind and helpful and answered all our questions. Deirdre, the person we worked with prior to our stay was also very nice and great to work with!! Staying here really made our vacation special. After a day at the beach, we looked forward to returning to the villa to relax and take in the view. A special thank you to Sylvester and the Clancy family for making our stay on St. John so fabulous! We'll be back!!"

  • Paradise!

"Our first trip to St. John was simply AWESOME, and made much more so by our stay at Drake's View. Aptly named, the views from this magnificent home tucked into the side of Bordeaux Mountain were spectacular, and the plush accommodations and private surroundings of this incredible find were more than we expected. From the island's various hiking trails, numerous choices of aquamarine bays with beautiful beaches and incredible snorkeling...to Drake's View's fabulous landscaped pool and hot tub, spacious living environment, and sleeping to the open-windowed breezes off Coral Bay, this was truly "a little bit of paradise". For family gatherings, groups of friends, Drake's View and St. John has it all. We would return in a heartbeat, and very much look forward to planning our next trip down."

  • What a gift!

"Our week long stay at Skyflower was truly a gift from owners, Jan and Bill. We had a wonderful week and a lot of it was due to coming "home" each day to this beautiful spot. Skyflower suite is the bottom of a two bedroom villa. During the winter the owners are using the main part of the villa and rent out the suite. First let me say that they are very nice people who seem to genuinely enjoy meeting their tenants. That being said - they are not at all intrusive, but, in fact are very helpful. During the rest of the year the entire villa is for rent. We did get a tour of the rest of the villa and it is very nicely done. The best part of our unit is the very long, covered deck, which is totally private from everything else. We ate out there, rested and read, and had plenty of space to dry out our wetsuits and bathing suits, etc. on lines provided. The view from this deck is one of the most all encompassing that I have seen. All of the British virgins were staring back at us. Absolutely gorgeous. We like to play hard during the day, but coming back to this was a highlight! We had a living room with small kitchen. Very comfortable furniture, TV we never used, a wall fan, books, board games, etc. The decorating was lovely with a lot of attention to detail and everything looked fresh. There was a microwave, toaster, stove and plenty of utensils, etc. The refrigerator is only apartment size which was a challenge for us, but we managed. Also the owners told us we could use any frig space we needed upstairs and also their ice maker. We didn't end up doing that, but it was nice to have the option. Bedroom was King size (could be 2 twins). Very comfortable. Ceiling fan. We would wake up with the sun and just look out our slider at the sun rise. One big perk is the huge "garden" shower right out the door of the bathroom. Still very private from the deck but with an awesome view and the same breezes. We never had a need for A/C. The road up is 108 and was only a 5 minute PAVED drive from the Aqua Bistro area. The entry to the driveway was level. I would recommend this highly to anyone. We hope to go back. And be sure to eat Jan's special muffins while they are fresh! Awesome."
