  • Great for families!

"We just got back from St John and stayed at Villa Andrea, this was our first house, we've done all from renting a boat to staying at resorts including Caneel Bay and the Westin and Westin Villas. We've been traveling to the Virgin Islands since 1999. St John is by far our favorite island to take kids. The Westin is best for say ages 4-9, but it's very pricy and the staff is luke warm at best there. This Villa has TONS of room, get for teens w downstairs area, we hardly saw them at night! You could have up to 6 kids EASY in this house. OR it would be great for 4 couples. I highly recommend renting a car, this Villa was easy to get to, but driving on St John is not for the novice, switch back roads can be scary. Once you arrive to this home, your breath is taken away by the views, theres a nice breeze, house is very open, pool is good size and deck is huge. Downtown Cruz bay is probably about a 7 minute drive and all of the grocery shopping you need is on St John. I called ahead and got an order for pick up on day of arrival to ease the stress of shopping on arrival night. House was clean, we had one issue w pool but within 2 hours of complaint someone came by and told us what to do. Management was always responsive with rental questions. The only other advise I would have is to consider renting a car in St Thomas, you can take the whole family round trip for $45 to and from STT to St John. This rental would be a great spacious perfectly situated place to bring teens or large families."

  • Great place to stay!

"This was our 4th visit to St. John. We have stayed in Peter Bay, Cruz Bay and Catherinesburg. This was our first stay in Rendevous Bay. We traveled with two other couples and our 3 kids, it was a perfect layout with two of the bedrooms having separate baths and the one our family used was downstairs with a shared bath with our kids. The house was beautifully appointed and had many extras as far as supplies needed for cooking so we didn't have to purchase things we may use just one time. The view is amazing and the location was convenient to town. The downstairs bedrooms are only accessible by steps outside of the villa, but since the weather is usually nice it wasn't a problem for our crew. Mark at SeaView Homes was very accommodating and helped us plan our trip along the way. The owners have thought of everything needed to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Everything in this home is well maintained and very clean. Thank you Wilson's for sharing your beautiful home with us."

  • Swiss Family Robinson

"We felt like the Swiss Family Robinson in our little tree house in the jungle on the side of a mountain! Tree Frog Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay - 2 adults an 2 tweens. Awesome views and glorious sunrises. Coral Bay is a great location - easy to get to North and South shore beaches, good restaurants and Cruz Bay. This was our first time to the Carribean. St John is truly paradise - 80's, sunshine, sandy beaches lined with palm trees and mangrooves, the warm water is amazing - Caribbean Blue is a real gorgeous color - coral reefs filled with colorful fish and turtles. Every beach was beautiful! A 4 wheel drive jeep is a must for the steep, switchbacks and dirt roads. Watch out for donkeys, chickens, sheep, goats, mongoose, deer etc. Best Restaurant: Aqua Bistro, Best Coral Reef: WaterLemon Key, Best Hike: L'Esperance with National Parks (best deal too), Maho Bay: most turtles. Anaberg & ruins during hike: Best Ruins. One suggeston - Tree Frog sign at driveway should be moved so you see it coming down the hill - too far to the left - we missed it at night 1st time driving there. St. John: a family vacation we will never ever forget!"

  • The perfect home away from home

"This villa has the perfect size, location and amenities for up to two couples or a family with a few children. The two master suites at opposite ends of the house all have direct access to the pool deck, yet provide desired privacy. The view from the pool overlooking Chocolate Hole couldn't have been better. The proximity to the North Shore beaches, restaurants, the ferry dock and grocery and liquor stores was very convenient - far better than when we stayed previously in Coral Bay area. The well provisioned home was clean and well cared for. The management group we booked through (Destination St. John) was very responsive to our questions. Having the entire house air conditioned was a definite plus. Thanks for our wonderful stay in paradise!"
