  • Awesome Trip!

"This house had it all! First, the management company who runs it couldn't have been better. They were friendly, helpful and all around wonderful. Second, the house is very conveniently located. It is about a 5 min drive to the grocery story, 8 minutes to Cruz Bay and still very very secluded. It was well appointed, had a great kitchen, awesome views, great pool, etc etc etc. We will be heading back to St John and will not even look at other properties. This one had it all! Also - as a side note, we used Conrad Sutton Car Rental Agency. They were great too! An added bonus is that they are located in the heart of Cruz Bay and they allow you to park your rental car there for free anytime. With parking at a premium, it was a great added benefit. Finally, our favorite beach - bar none - was Hansen Bay. I would put it up against Greece, Italy, Hawaii, Dominican.....It is a little bit of a drive (30 mins from house) but is secluded and absolutely gorgeous. Plus, Vie's Snack Shack is about 150 feet from the bay (closed Sunday/Monday; 9-5 other days) and has great authentic West Indian cuisine. Wonderful trip!!!!"

  • Beautiful Villa!

"My daughter, her family and I spent a heavenly week at Andante. The views are spectacular, the pool was great, and the house itself felt like home, only better. Every comfort was considered. This is a very special place and I can't recommend it too hightly."

  • Nice house

"This was a very nice house to stay in. FYI: this was my 6th trip to St. John and we've stayed in a different place each time. This trip, we stayed with another couple. Our friends stayed in the "better" suite with the double doors to the veranda. Very cute room, and the pictures make it look very lovely. It is, but... the curtains needed to be shut all the time because someone lives downstairs and there was construction happening on the sidewalks around the place. There were people walking around often enough to mandate closed curtains and loss of the sunny room. There were no curtains on the bathroom so my friend had to tape a garbage bag up. (though someone did come and hang some curtains one day when we were out). The other bedroom was okay. Someone else complained that the bathroom needed updating. Either it had been or I thought it was fine. I do understand that updates don't happen in the VI like we are accustomed to in the states because material and labor cost so much there, so maybe I'm just more understanding. That being said, the peeling paint on the jaccuzi deck REALLY does need to be re-done. It's just bad. Also, we were told that the jacuzzi heats on a timer, but it was never (never) warm enough for us to use. The living areas are beautiful. The location is great as it is a very easy and quick drive into town, the roads/driveway is good."

  • JUST BACK FROM TWO FABULOUS WEEKS AT BLUE AGAVE

"My first trip to St. John USVI, or any of the VI. I was very fortunate I did my research as I hit the jackpot with Blue Agave. Spacious, clean and had everything one could need. Absolutely the best location! Seclusion. Beautiful surroundings no matter what direction you looked. My family joined me for part of the trip and we all had our own privacy in each suite. It was an easy drive to Cruz Bay, where we typically ended up at some point during the day or night, but we always tried to be at the Villa for sunset. The resident iguanas were quite amusing and joined us a few times on the patio. So much to do on the island and we tried to do it all. Fortunately, we weren't able to, so I am hopeful I will be back to visit and will definitely hope Blue Agave will be my home during my next trip. The owners were incredibly helpful with my planning as was Nancy! Truly an outstanding Villa!"
