"We stayed at Molly's Cottage for a week at the beginning of March. It was clean, cozy, wonderfully decorated and a beautiful view. We had a great week. I was a little worried about not having AC but there was a constant breeze in the cottage and leaving all the doors open was just perfect. As a matter of fact, we needed a blanket at night because it got chilly at night! Natural breeze beats AC any day! I would definitely recommend this cottage and would rent here again."

"This was a very nice house to stay in. FYI: this was my 6th trip to St. John and we've stayed in a different place each time. This trip, we stayed with another couple. Our friends stayed in the "better" suite with the double doors to the veranda. Very cute room, and the pictures make it look very lovely. It is, but... the curtains needed to be shut all the time because someone lives downstairs and there was construction happening on the sidewalks around the place. There were people walking around often enough to mandate closed curtains and loss of the sunny room. There were no curtains on the bathroom so my friend had to tape a garbage bag up. (though someone did come and hang some curtains one day when we were out). The other bedroom was okay. Someone else complained that the bathroom needed updating. Either it had been or I thought it was fine. I do understand that updates don't happen in the VI like we are accustomed to in the states because material and labor cost so much there, so maybe I'm just more understanding. That being said, the peeling paint on the jaccuzi deck REALLY does need to be re-done. It's just bad. Also, we were told that the jacuzzi heats on a timer, but it was never (never) warm enough for us to use. The living areas are beautiful. The location is great as it is a very easy and quick drive into town, the roads/driveway is good."

"My wife and I have been to St. John three times (staying once in the owner's other villa) and each time it is of course fantastic. Calypso was a great home away from home with everything you need from kitchen supplies, coolers, beach stuff (and for kids!) and cards for the late night games. We brought our two kids aged 5 and 3 and the villa manager set up one room for them as we stayed next door. We also brought my wives parents and all four of the adults agreed that Calypso was the nicest villa we have stayed in so far. The hot tub is a great plus even though the weather is always perfect. The porches are great to relax outside and even in a 3BR you have so much space sometimes it is hard to find each other! The pool is awesome with great views and really what else can you ask for. The location is right next to the supermarkets and Cruz Bay for the late nights or early dinners and drinks.
We would highly recommend, though it seems many agree as it is ALWAYS booked!
Thanks to the owners for a wonderful time and we will be back again next year!"

"We loved this villa -- a wonderful place to spend our anniversary week. The views from inside and from the deck are amazing. The kitchen/great room is very bright with sliding glass doors on two sides, and the master bedroom is spacious and bright as well. The house is very comfortable and very well maintained. The location is convenient -- only 10 minutes from Cruz Bay, with easy access to the North shore beaches. The house is owned by Annmarie and Bob; Annmarie also owns a watersports /dive shop called Low-key Watersports, which is located right in the heart of Cruz Bay. Annemarie and her staff were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions for restaurants and activities. We booked a sunset snorkel sailing cruise and a dingy rental though Low-key, both of which were a lot of fun. Annmarie also provided complimentary snorkel gear because we were guests at Stillwater."
