  • Breath taking

"Our family stayed at Blue Agave over Christmas. There are not enough positive things to say about this villa. The view priceless with the sun sets and the rainbows, the location, the infinity pool, the kitchen well stocked and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The owners take great pride in their home and everything is well taken care of and the yard filled with beautiful colorful flowers. It worked perfect for us because my parents took the upstairs bedroom and our family took the 3 bedrooms downstairs. We hiked in the morning and went to a different beach in the afternoon or came back to sun by the pool. We will be back and I hope SOON!"

  • Breathtaking from beginning to end!

"Amazing is all I would really need to say... Views, sunsets, birds, flowers, trees, pool - you name it Seascape has it all. We will only stay at Seascape in our return trips to St John. This is like a home away from home... very comfortable and had everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Loved it..."

  • Good clean home, plenty of room, plenty of water and sunshine

"Met Winnie at the dock. She was the best/nicest/genuine person we met all week. Simply adorable. She took time to take us to our car rental and then we followed her to the house. She as just so funny and sweet! The driveway was straight up. She said if you hit the mountain turn left. The house itself had heavy doors. The breezes blow them shut loudly. The two master bedrooms were beautiful. Only one had a master bath, the other had a bath just outside in the hallway, which also had a door to the pool area. We had many Iguanas in our trees, never once getting on our deck, but they were awesome to watch. They fought occasionally and fell out of the trees. We ordered 2 pizza's the first night, a 6 pack of beer, some wings, and some pop and bill was $108. Whew. We bought water, if you can - get water the first night you're there. Ask your guide to stop at Dolphin and pick up 10 minutes worth of water, rum and food for a night. We didn't do that - and we wish we would have. We packed coffee and other basics. You must have snacks for sitting on the deck. The deck is beautiful and quiet. We saw no one when we were there. We heard laughter from a deck a little ways away, but saw no one. The house itself is equipped nicely. Good pots and pans, good dishes and glassware, many towels, beach towels and beach chairs and coolers when you go to Cinnamon or Trunk or my favorite Maho. They are good chairs. The first floor bedroom is outside down the steps. There are 2 twin beds with patio doors onto a nice patio area. And it has a bathroom. There is also a workout room with a futon for another sleeper. The washer dryer area is down there too. I loved the high ceilings. The pictures are not up to date - I saw no patio furniture like shown. But there was plenty of good furniture there. The pic of the living room is not exact anymore - there is a flat screen TV there now. I loved making coffee and sitting on the deck waiting for others to wake up. There's a beautiful view on the deck and it's fun to listen to the cars squealing on the hairpin turns after the rain. You do need a 4 wheel drive to get here."

  • Nice house

"This was a very nice house to stay in. FYI: this was my 6th trip to St. John and we've stayed in a different place each time. This trip, we stayed with another couple. Our friends stayed in the "better" suite with the double doors to the veranda. Very cute room, and the pictures make it look very lovely. It is, but... the curtains needed to be shut all the time because someone lives downstairs and there was construction happening on the sidewalks around the place. There were people walking around often enough to mandate closed curtains and loss of the sunny room. There were no curtains on the bathroom so my friend had to tape a garbage bag up. (though someone did come and hang some curtains one day when we were out). The other bedroom was okay. Someone else complained that the bathroom needed updating. Either it had been or I thought it was fine. I do understand that updates don't happen in the VI like we are accustomed to in the states because material and labor cost so much there, so maybe I'm just more understanding. That being said, the peeling paint on the jaccuzi deck REALLY does need to be re-done. It's just bad. Also, we were told that the jacuzzi heats on a timer, but it was never (never) warm enough for us to use. The living areas are beautiful. The location is great as it is a very easy and quick drive into town, the roads/driveway is good."
