Fabulous condo on an amazing island!
"We are thrilled with this condo and in awe that a place like St. John still exists. A year ago, I was looking for a fun and romantic spot to spend our 25th wedding anniversary. My thrill seeking husband wanted something with adventure and I wanted to be relaxed, comfortable (with a little adventure too). We found the perfect spot. Tracy was so fun and helpful with all of my questions and planning (about the condo and the island) and Rachelle the property manager was as nice as can be. The Villa managers called me ahead of time and helped me reserve the dinghy and my snorkel gear. Our favorite things were 1) renting a dinghy and snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay and Trunk Bay 2) Driving to Lamshure and snorkeling, then to Salt Pond to hike the Ram Head trail, then snorkeling Salt Pond and eating burgers at Skinny Legs. 3) Dinner at Zozo's was unbelievably good and the view and the donkeys walking around…incredible! It is great that the National Park keeps up the roads and beaches so well. It is a VERY special island. This condo is in the perfect location and will not disappoint. Thank you Tracy!"

"We just returned from a week in this beautiful home. The condo is fully equipped with everything for a perfect stay...beach chairs, coolers, comfortable furnishings and an awesome view.
It is walking distance to all of the restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay, as well as the docks, making getting to excursions really easy. Rent a jeep to get to the best beaches, and you don't have to worry about parking because there is a reserved space under the building.
The all day trip to Virgin Gorda with Bad Kitty is a must-do. The St John Villa Company arranged that for us, and can handle everything else to make your trip perfect.
We will be back!"

The Overton's were wonderful! Very accommodating and caring :) The house was well equipped with coolers, beach towels, maps, etc. Our stay was wonderful thanks in part to finding this great property for our stay.
Thanks again to the Overtons!! Good luck with the ranch, it will be beautiful...hope to see it in person.

"We had a truly special time on St. John and staying at Larimar. This condo was a great value, super-convenient, and we loved it. We were close to all the restaurants, activities and trails, but in a quiet neighborhood. If were get to come back, we would rent it again. We had the pool to ourselves every day. Every meal we ate at the condo was on the spacious and shaded porch. We walked to downtown Cruz Bay for at least one meal each day, and while the hills were steep, they were short. The views of the boats and ships in the Bay, and the tiny salt pond, kept me occupied with binoculars for hours. We watched birds and lizards and iguanas A LOT. We appreciated the convenient parking along the street. We have two teenagers so the walking was easy, but if you have kids who are under 8, they might get worn out with all the fun St. John provides and THEN the uphill walk home. Wifi was key and worked flawlessly. The kitchen is well equipped and tidy. Finishes and linens are just fine - nothing special but comfortable and not so precious that you worried about dirty feet and sandy towels. And speaking of towels, they provide you with a TON and you cannot imagine why until you have used almost every single one - hiking to beaches, swimming in pool.
One caveat - there is not AC. If you "run hot" this condo might not be okay for a summer rental. In the winter/spring, I'm sure it is fine, but it was about 90 degrees all week for us. We were fine with the ceiling and floor fans. Oh, and bring earplugs sleeping - the local chickens and peacocks wake up very early and the screen-only windows don't let you shut them out.
Steve and Lisa got us settled and gave us the quick tour of town. They were available for any hitch or problem, but we never needed them. We would recommend a day sail charter and snorkeling with Captain Phil of the Wayward Sailor and also the ranger-guided hike on the Reef Bay Trail. Enjoy!"
