  • Perfect place

"Spacious! Clean! A/C in main room and both bedrooms (plus ceiling fans). Nice shared balcony. Stove, oven, full fridge, perfect for cooking every meal! New, clean, and comfortable furniture. Marlita is very friendly. Right on the bus line but looooong walk to town so if you don't want to take the bus or hitch, you will need a car. Lovely view! Grill on balcony."

  • Argus

"These condos are part of Palm Terrace Villas. We have stayed in units 4 & 5. They are beautifully appointed. They are extremely clean & the maid service in the middle of the week is great. Amenities such as beach towels, beach chairs & cooler are a definite plus. We have had young grandchildren with us so having a washer & dryer in each unit makes life easier. Each unit has 2 balconies which have outstanding views while relaxing with coffee in the AM or Pain Killers (Soggy Dollar recipe) in the PM. We usually have a car, but have taken taxis to further away locations such as Canille Bay & Trunk Bay. We are looking forward to returning. Also, the price is right."

  • Amazing Suite & PERFECT location!

"This was our third trip to St. John (our favorite vacation destination), but our first time staying in the heart of Cruz Bay. The location of the Seaside studio suite at Grande Bay Resort could not have been any better! We loved that we were easily able to walk into town to all of the bars, shops and restaurants and even to some beaches. We rented a jeep, but at this location it's not a necessity as it's easy to catch a cab to get to the beaches, and it's an easy (and beautiful) hike to get to Honeymoon Beach. The Seaside suite is super clean and cute and has everything you need for your stay. (we appreciated the beach towels! There were also beach chairs and coolers available) We enjoyed grilling on the patio, and the beautiful views of the bay. There is also a pool and hot tub at Grande Bay, with amazing views! (we were the only ones using it, one of the pluses of being there during the down season!) Tracy, the owner, is super friendly & so was Sarah who picked us up at the ferry dock...thank you both for making our stay enjoyable! This vacation was amazing....we stayed on the go hiking and beach hopping...but, also found time to relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounded's such a peaceful place. I am already missing Seaside and St.'s a beautiful island which keeps bringing us back; I know when we return we will stay at Seaside again. If I could give Seaside 10 stars, I would!"

  • Pefect place to anchor your St. John visit!

"We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our recent St. John visit. If you want to experience the island as you might if you were a local, this is perfect. Walking distance to Dolphin Market (for your various essentials) and all restaurants, bars, and shops in Cruz Bay & Mongoose Junction, it made all our errands & meals very easy and accessible. For excursions around the island, it's also conveniently located right on Centerline Rd., and very close to the N. Shore Rd., so you can get anywhere you need to go easily. The walk up to the villa is a bit steep (but only for a short distance), so if mobility is an issue, this may pose a challenge. The villa is bright, clean, and very comfortable, with just about all the amenitites you need for a visit to the island. As at least one other reviewer noted, on a busy night, you can hear some of the action "downtown," so peak seasons (presumably, like during Carnival?), it may be an issue. We were so well provisioned, that we never needed to engage property management (though I felt like stopping in just to say "hi!"). The only thing that would prevent us from staying here again is that we will take our kids with us on our next visit, so we'd need another BR."
