"Ylang Ylang was perfect for my family including my 2 1/2 year old duaghter. The owner Jim was extremely helpful and was there if needed. The unit is very well equipped and close proximity to town but not to close. I already miss this place and can't wait to come back. Thanks so much Jim for a vacation my family will never forget. St John is by far the pretest place I have ever seen. This is coming from someone who travels quite a bit. This little island paradise is easy to get around and very safe."Guest: Tim O. "Like the other reviews, it's a cute and private little spot for a couple. It's pretty clean, could use a deep cleaning on certain areas, but definitely clean enough. Excellent view from the porch. Ac in loft kept us cold just like we like, at night while we slept. The beach chairs and ice chest definitely came in handy. I loved the place because it was peaceful, but I would have liked to know that I was only going to get two bath towels and cloths for the entire week, per person, and three beach towels. I like clean stuff... Also, bring zip lock bags because you can't leave anything in the counter, not even unopened bread. Everything had to be sealed up or in the fridge or the ants will get into it. This is common on the island... I think. It's a cute place overall though."Guest: Misty C. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 5, 2014View listing
"We recently spent a great week at Sea Grape. Prior to the trip, Cil was extremely patient and helpful answering our questions. We felt completely at home as soon as we walked in. The view and location are outstanding! I can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't already stocked at Sea Grape. We would definitely stay there again!"Guest: Hal M. "BJ and Andretti were a pleasure to work with. We have been coming to St John for almost 20 yrs and Harbor View has the most awesome sunset views of Cruz Bay and over to St Thomas that we have ever seen.Let me just add, that we are budget minded travlers. The king bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies! Harbor View has a challenging drive way and parking spot. We are "senior citizens" so if younger it would not be an issue. We were there for 10 days and never saw a single bug of any kind....just a few mosquitoes after the downpour of 9" of rain. There is a shared pool and a 2 bedroom unit above (Captains View) that had a flat parking area. All in all we were very pleased. Excellant value."Guest: BaileyBay Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 21, 2014View listing
