"The brutally cold northeast winter wore us down and the stress piled up at work. We arrived for our six-day stay at Cinnamon Bay Daydreams and found serenity in a clean, wonderfully laid out home with breathtaking views, supreme seclusion and unmistakable island character.
The pictures don't do justice to the quality of the wood and masonry construction, large bedrooms and updated bathrooms. It was just two of us on this trip but CBD would have offered plenty of space and privacy for two families or three couples with two separate, equally large master suites and large loft area. The open floor plan allows guests to move freely between the kitchen, living/dining area and the lanai. We especially enjoyed watching the sun rise over Tortola as we started a pot of coffee and cooked breakfast.
We took early morning hikes and full day excursions from CBDs central island location in Catherineberg. It's one of the islands most exclusive neighborhoods due to its location within the National Park boundary. We enjoyed the most restful sleep we could recall as nature played us a symphony of rustling treetops, crickets, tree frogs and other nocturnal creatures.
The world famous north shore beaches are your playground. You can walk down the hill to Cinnamon Bay or hop in the car for a 10 minute ride to Trunk or Maho (our favorite). One of our favorite activities was to put the top down on the Jeep and cruise the island. It's less than 15 minutes to either Coral Bay or Cruz Bay, with miles of hikes in between. The plantation ruins from bygone eras are everywhere and not to be missed.
We always made it back early to enjoy an evening cocktail on the lanai. The twilight view of the BVIs is best accompanied by a Cruzan on the rocks and an old pirate novel.
Not only would we rent this villa again, we would move there if life allowed us. You won't be disappointed.
One note- you cannot fully enjoy this location without renting a car. Soft top Jeeps are only available on STT but the cargo ferry was very easy."

Perfect villa for our party of 5 adults and 3 kids
"Wonderful location, home and view. We miss it already! The villa has everything you need for an exjoyable stay including a leave behind closet with beer and liquor (check this before buying your provisions, we left some nice stuff!), snorkel equipment, and sand toys. Eight beach chairs were provided as well as beach towels and bath towels. We had 3 small children with us (ages 5. 6, and 9) and the set up of this house allowed us to have everyone sleep in their bedroom without worrying because 2 bedrooms were under the main roof. We could lock the sliders in the bedrooms up high so the kids could only exit through the living room instead of walking downstairs near the pool. The island was wonderful. Every beach and hike had something different and special. Crandall on St. John did a great job getting our rental cars and groceries. Would recommend without hesitation! Enjoyed the free drink coupons as well :-)"

"First I would like to thank the owners we had a great stay. It was quiet and relaxing even with a couple of teens. I would love to stay again in the near future when we plan another trip. Love the morning walks on the roads and trails. The snorkeling is always the best on east end. Thank you again. Rich, Julie and Family."

"My husband and I stayed for 8 days in December. The location is central, with a lovely view of the harbor. Easy to get to the north shore beaches or the beaches near Salt Pond and beyond. The studio is spacious, with the sleeping area separate from the living area. The owner is an artist, and the walls are covered with wonderful paintings. There is great light, comfy furniture, and is well stocked. There were a few minor problems which were addressed immediately by the manager. This truly is an oasis."
