  • excellent cottage

"My husband and I were greeted by Sinbad at the dock. He was the greatest. All information was provided with over fhe top enthusiasm. He was great. The cottage was exactly what we expected. We were able to use the pool at the villa next door when it was vacant. The stay was wonderful and we now plan to return with our immediate family and rent both houses. Thanks Sinbad."

  • Romantic! Amazing views!

"We stayed here for six days and it was pretty great. We walked to Skinny Legs, enjoyed nature's wake up calls in the form of roosters, donkeys and goats - who would walk along the side of the house. There is a lovely patio, a kitchen with a large refrigerator and it's in a good location for visiting the various beaches on the island. Plus it's nice to have your our pool. Miss Lucy's was great as was Salt Pond for snorkeling."

  • Can't wait to return!!!

"OMG!!!! I can't say enough good things about my stay at Coral Bay Cottage. Melody was so nice and personal from the moment I first contacted her about the cottage; and she was always quick to respond and answer all of my questions. The cottage was exactly as advertised... and more!!! Perfectly maintained, simply adorable, clean, clean, clean! Everything you need, well, if you're ok without air conditioning. The cottage has wall to wall windows on all 4 sides with a ceiling fan and 2 additional fans, so it was very comfortable at night! The setting is absolutely beautiful and remote - the sounds of nature sing you to sleep at night! Definitely a place to get away and unwind! Melody was off the island during my visit, but left me in good hands - Tom was truly delightful - a Caribbean Santa Clause - such a kind gentle soul with a great big smile and a love for the island he loves to share. My friends were all staying on the other side of the island, but it was well worth the drive every day to meet them on the other side and return "home" each night. I hope the cottage is available for my next visit to St John - would love to stay here again!!! one last note - fresh water is precious on the island - they depend on rain water. So, you need to be considerate when showering, brushing teeth, etc. It really is no trouble at all to lather up with the water off and then turn it on to rinse... just something to consider if you like marathon showers. Happy Travels! I hope you love it as much as I did!!! :)"

  • Awesome Vacay

"My husband and I stayed here for 5 days in late May. What a wonderful retreat. Just what we needed. Nice pool, screened in porch and close to Coral Bay restaurants. We cooked breakfast at the house and would venture out for lunch and dinner. Why cook when you're on vacation? The bedroom is below the main living area and has an air conditioner, although the breeze from the water was refreshing and we never felt hot. The shower upstairs has a window to the deck (still private) and the breeze would blow through creating such a pleasant experience. The whole property is private and we never felt like we were being watched or could be seen. We visited Maho Beach but decided to head over to Francis Bay, which offered less people and traffic. We relaxed on the porch in the evenings with a cocktail then headed down the driveway and ate at Aquabistro every night. The food was so good and location was so convenient that we skipped plans to eat elsewhere. We took the Red Hook Ferry on arrival, which included a horrendous taxi ride. On our return to STT, we opted for the longer ferry ride to Char Amalie and shorter taxi. This is the way to go. We went to unwind and that's exactly what we did. Can't wait to return!"
