"We were pleasantly surprised as we turned into the parking spot for this place less than a half mile from Skinny Legs. It has great curb appeal and the gardens are beautiful. I can only imagine how beautiful they would be during the rainy season! The interior is very tastefully decorated and really has all the amenities you need plus the added benefit of A/C in the bedroom for those warm nights. There is also a very nice covered back porch that overlooks the gardens with comfortable chairs for relaxing. We used this place as a home base for adventures all over the island. No doubt this is one of the best places to stay in Coral Bay for very reasonable rates!"

You have got to see this for yourself because words (and pictures) do not do this place justice!
"My wife & I, in addition to another couple, just returned from our trip to St John. I had never booked a home through VRBO before and we had never been to the USVI or the Caribbean, let alone to St John. I can honestly say that looking back; I would not change a thing. We booked Skyflower for multiple reasons and I am happy to report that it did not disappoint. From the amazing views, to the beautiful home, to the expansive decks; I fully expect that we will be back and when we do, I no longer need to look for another house to rent. This pleasant experience began when I first contacted the property manager through VRBO to inquire about renting Skyflower for a week. The property manager answered all of our questions and made the process of reserving this home very easy and painless. Since this was my first time renting a home through VRBO, I was a bit nervous about it too, but working with the property manager set me right at ease. His communications were very quick and helpful. When we finally arrived in St John, he met us in town, took us to the house, and was available our entire stay if needed. Once we got to the house, the views took our breath away; you can see quite a bit from this elevation. We all loved the layout of the home too. It provided both couples with great places to gather in the main living area or on the deck, but it also provided ample privacy in the separate master bedroom and in the second master suite on the lower level. This property would work well for a family with a couple of children too. I can only sing praises to Skyflower and our experience staying here. It was very clean, well designed, and well decorated too. It was also great to have access to a washer and dryer during our stay to wash bath towels & beach towels. If you decided to book this home, you will not regret it! My only suggestion would be to pack a few warm clothes in addition to your shorts and flip flops; it can get a bit chilly at night, especially with the breeze on top of Bordeaux Mountain. Personally, I was fine in a t-shirt and shorts, but my wife would usually throw on a light sweater at night along with a pair of sweat pants. Of course, you could always just hop in the hot tub too if you prefer!"

"The location is close to town and markets. Views incredible. Loved how the villa is laid out. Each bedroom with a private bathroom. Kitchen is very well stocked. Lots of spices, etc. left by other guests so don't buy before you see what's there. Outdoor bar area is great. Loved the extra fridge there as well as the ice maker. Always had ice and plenty of fridge space for drinks between all the fridges. Rooms stocked well with plenty of towels, extra sheets and blankets. Internet and all TV's worked well. Gas grill handy and easy to use. Accommodated large meals well. parking easy for 3 jeeps. Pool nice and refreshing. The only downside is the poor road condition up to the actual house. It's broken pavement, large ruts and not possible for 2 cars to pass at the same time. Someone will have to back up or down around a curve. It was bad enough that the 3 nights we went out, we called cabs rather than drive that at night in the dark. Cimmeron was great to work with. Would stay here again."

"A true testomony of our love of Andura was that we came back, as we had a flawless vacation here last year. We did notice some differences however which we did not expect based upon the pricey, yet competitive, rate of such luxury. This year the bronze wall fountain did not function and was not repaired during our stay. Seems like a little issue unless you had experienced the hundreds of hummingbirds using it as their tropical bar last year. We came in on Super Bowl Sunday and alas none of the televisions worked. Of course you may also be thinking that we were on vacation, who needs TV? It would have nice to have at least been able to watch the big game. The TV / satellite issue was partially resolved mid-week after two calls so we could finally get music in the great room. To this day we are unable to switch it to the gazebo/ pool area speakers. One of our party is a a wonderful amateur chef. He delights in using what we have on hand to create delectable dishes. But alas, the beautiful commercial gas range had electronic sparking issues all week and did not appear to have been cleaned in quite some time. (Resulting in stained clothes.) Light fixtures need cleaning outside and light bulbs need to be replaced. All this being said we know is genuinely minor but... We have grown to expect clean, properly functioning facilities, especially if we are willing to pay the price. If we were the owners we would want to know these things and would drill down to whose resposility it is to keep it at 100%. We love this place and do not want to see it decline. Just sayin'."
