"20th trip to St. John and for the last several years have settled on the Coral Bay side of the island, specifically in Mamey Peak. Bay Rum Breeze was simply put "perfect" in every way. Spacious, comfortable, very well appointed kitchen, and that incredible view from every room from early morning to late evening, the view that just keeps on giving! Not to mention the lovely breezes high up on the mountain that keeps the little pesky flying critters away. We spent more time at the villa than away from the villa this trip, and the reason was that Bay Rum Breeze just felt so right for us. Loved every second spent there! Highly recommend it!"

"This was our fourth stay at Kaleidoscope Villa. We wouldn't think of staying at another place in St John, as it's unlikely anything else can compare. The view from the house and pool is priceless, and will be something we remember forever. The house, the pool, the hot tub, and all the little things that Jack has thought to include make this a unique and special place. We will return again and highly recommend this villa to everyone!"

"My family and spent my birthday week in this magnificent house. This home is incredible. We have traveled to a lot of places, but this is by far the most beautiful home ever. The view, the interior decorating, every room has so many unique touches, it is truly breathtaking. We cannot wait to return. Don, you were so accommodating and helpful with making our week, the perfect vacation. Thank you so much for sharing this palace with us. We had the time of our lives."

"Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, loved this home and is already planning to stay here again during our next trip to St. John. The home overlooks Great Cruz Bay and is private, yet not so secluded that you feel isolated. When you enter the front door, you immediately are awed by the pool and luxury furnishings that create comfortable spaces to relax with great views from any location. The king master bedroom includes a sunroom with a daybed and armchair with ottoman, which are perfect for the morning cup of coffee. The outdoor master shower is private, with visiting hummingbirds and iguanas hanging out in the flowering tree overhead. The first queen bedroom is on the opposite side of the house, with the other outdoor shower and another sunroom furnished with comfortable seating to enjoy the views of St. Thomas and Great Cruz Bay. The third bedroom, also a queen suite, is located downstairs and is accessible from a spiral staircase from the back patio or by an outdoor path just by the front door. My 14 year-old daughter loved her "apartment" down there, but it would not be suitable as a bedroom for younger children unless there was an adult with them because it's not accessible from inside the house. This bedroom was also beautifully furnished with a large indoor shower as well as a sitting room with a partial view of the bay.
The back patio with its lounge chairs and hot tub were where we spent most of our evenings. There were times when we could hear the music from the Westin nearby, and we loved it because we could enjoy it but it wasn't so loud as to be annoying. When we wanted our own music, the SONOS system provided access to any kind of music we wanted. This was something we used every day and found to add a nice perk to the home that we hadn't realized we would have.
The indoor pool was amazing. The water was cool, not cold, and felt great after a day of exploring or as a cool-off while cooking dinner in the kitchen a few feet away. It's about 5 1/2 feet deep at it's deepest, so you would need to keep an eye on younger children because it's very enticing!
Each bedroom has AC with a remote control. The great room and kitchen are not air conditioned, but were comfortable as long as you are not cooking. That's when the indoor pool was nice! The ceiling fans and airflow from the screened doors across the front and back of the house kept the temperature very comfortable.
Thank you, Paula and Skip! We hope to be back!"
