"String of Pearls was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon!! Both my husband and I had been to St. John before so we really appreciated all of the great benefits that this property provided. The view was amazing, and the location couldn't have been better! We were secluded but still close to everything we wanted to do. So many great attractions are within a 10 minute drive! Perfect size for the two of us, very well maintained and decorated, and the hot tub and hammock were great! BJ is such a sweet host! She never bothered us, but made sure that we were well taken care of during our stay. We ran into a couple of issues with the water in the house because of a drought on the island (by the way, everyone on the island was having issues with the drought, please keep in mind), however BJ went above and beyond to continue to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! We're both so appreciative of the hospitality; everything was truly wonderful! We hope to be back soon! We hated to leave! :)"

Perfect Luxury Vacation Property - look no further!
"Villa Rhapsody exceeded our expectations in every way. The views are expansive and beautiful, and can not truly be captured in photos. The location is ideal. It's just a short drive to downtown St. John yet located atop a small cliff to ensure total privacy.
The villa itself is beautiful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate and the other living spaces were comfortable and very well equipped (not to mention the outdoor sound system). Every bedroom has an ocean view! The infinity pool and the Jacuzzi are also beautiful. Tons of outdoor tables, dining areas, outdoor sofas, and deck chairs to enjoy the amazing unobstructed views of the water and neighboring islands.
Before venturing off property to snorkel at one of the local beaches, we were quite pleased to find a cache of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, blankets, towels, umbrellas, coolers, kids toys, and more.
The staff at the villa were great too! Both Richard and the on-site property manager, Tommy, could not have been more accommodating. From arranging our car rental to advising on top restaurants and a private chef. They thought of everything and were always available to assist with any of our needs.
The villa is great for a romantic getaway or large groups. We had such a great and relaxing time. Villa Rhapsody is truly an amazing place. We look forward to going back to as soon as possible."

"I came here with my family and couldn't have been more pleased with this beautiful island and beautiful resort. The villa was clean and spacious with gorgeous views. I loved that we could cook a lot of our meals in the kitchen and eat on the patio together.
The staff at this resort is top notch. They accommodate any need you have and always have a smile on their face.
We really enjoyed going to the pool and relaxing with delicious drinks that the pool bar offered. Each day there were fun activities for the kids to do. Mine especially loved frosting, decorating and eating their own cupcakes. There are also fun games for adults at the pool where you can win free drinks, food etc. My kids loved walking up and down the beach, collecting shells and looking for sting rays, crabs and fish that we spotted almost daily in the water.
There are so many fun things to do on the island. We did a snorkel trip where we spent the day snorkeling with sea turtles and all kinds of fish. We also rented a car and was able to explore the island and visit many beaches. Trunk Bay is a must. I loved going into town and visiting the shops and delicious restaurants. Everyone around is so friendly, you feel right at home.
We had such an amazing time! None of us wanted to leave. We can't wait to go back again some day."

"Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, loved this home and is already planning to stay here again during our next trip to St. John. The home overlooks Great Cruz Bay and is private, yet not so secluded that you feel isolated. When you enter the front door, you immediately are awed by the pool and luxury furnishings that create comfortable spaces to relax with great views from any location. The king master bedroom includes a sunroom with a daybed and armchair with ottoman, which are perfect for the morning cup of coffee. The outdoor master shower is private, with visiting hummingbirds and iguanas hanging out in the flowering tree overhead. The first queen bedroom is on the opposite side of the house, with the other outdoor shower and another sunroom furnished with comfortable seating to enjoy the views of St. Thomas and Great Cruz Bay. The third bedroom, also a queen suite, is located downstairs and is accessible from a spiral staircase from the back patio or by an outdoor path just by the front door. My 14 year-old daughter loved her "apartment" down there, but it would not be suitable as a bedroom for younger children unless there was an adult with them because it's not accessible from inside the house. This bedroom was also beautifully furnished with a large indoor shower as well as a sitting room with a partial view of the bay.
The back patio with its lounge chairs and hot tub were where we spent most of our evenings. There were times when we could hear the music from the Westin nearby, and we loved it because we could enjoy it but it wasn't so loud as to be annoying. When we wanted our own music, the SONOS system provided access to any kind of music we wanted. This was something we used every day and found to add a nice perk to the home that we hadn't realized we would have.
The indoor pool was amazing. The water was cool, not cold, and felt great after a day of exploring or as a cool-off while cooking dinner in the kitchen a few feet away. It's about 5 1/2 feet deep at it's deepest, so you would need to keep an eye on younger children because it's very enticing!
Each bedroom has AC with a remote control. The great room and kitchen are not air conditioned, but were comfortable as long as you are not cooking. That's when the indoor pool was nice! The ceiling fans and airflow from the screened doors across the front and back of the house kept the temperature very comfortable.
Thank you, Paula and Skip! We hope to be back!"
