  • Six days spent in paradise!

"Having been to St. Thomas before, we decided after a day trip to stay on St. John as it was just much more low key and laid back. It was a difficult decision as to where we'd stay as there are so many wonderful properties, but after speaking with Heather, I just knew that Water Cliff would be our vacation home. It was comfortable enough for 8 adults and has great A/C in the bedrooms. The location, although gorgeous, was a little difficult for some of the taxi's to get to (as are most villas on St. John), but the proximity to town was very good. One thing that would have been good to know in advance is the trash situation (which we were not told about until we arrived). All the trash must be removed and taken to the dumpster in town before departure. Seeing as we did not have a car the last few days, this was a challenge, but most of the taxi's were accomodating (assumed they understood this was common practice). Also, my husband suggests that they invest in a stop valve for the cistern pump (he's in the pool business and this is a common piece of equipment) so that in the event you lose power, you can still use the water with the pump staying primed. The management company was very attentive and checked on us several times during our visit and everyone LOVED the outdoor showers! All in all, our stay at Water Cliff was a delightful experience and we hope to return soon!"

  • Amazing!!!

"My husband and I stayed at String Of Pearls for 10 wonderful days and did not want to leave. The villa is so very beautiful, open and inviting. We enjoyed the hot tub on our first night at SOP - Great. The bed is incredible comfortable. So comfortable, I asked BJ how I could get one for myself! The kitchen was fully stocked with off the items we needed. The bathroom was a great size and the washer and dryer made our stay so much easier. There is plenty of space and the open consept it perfect for two people to enjoy. We are planning a trip to return next year and I hope years after that. We love SOP so much my husband offered to buy it! We also enjoyed the kayak, the sandy beach, and the total relaxation experience. Truly we did not want to leave. Thank you B.J. for everything."

  • Stunning Views, Convenient Location!

"We were blown away by the beautiful views from the balcony of Waterklip. Lovely pool and balcony to view the sunset over Great Cruz Bay & St. Thomas or watch local birds and iguanas in the morning. Short trip into town. Close to Starfish Market and Mongoose Junction. Very private. Never saw the neighbors and the owner's lodging is unoccupied when rental is available. The villa is well appointed with everything you could need to cook a meal in house or make your own rum punches. The owner's left brochures and guidebooks for our reference. We had such a wonderful time at Waterklip! Would recommend to anyone!"

You can get a taxi to visit the various other beaches and bays on the island. Enjoy breakfast or lunch on the beachfront and mingling with the locals. You will soon see why many visitors return again to make St. John their permanent home.
