  • All you need for a fabulous beach vacation in paradise!

"My boyfriend and I just spent an incredible week at Lameshur. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for to relax and enjoy this tropical paradise! Has everything you need - including beach chairs, cooler, kayak, snorkel gear which makes it much better than any hotel! Very thoughtfully and tastefully decorated (Liz is an artist and has given the cottage a very colorful and homey feel). Outdoor deck is perfect for coffee in the mornings and cocktails before dinner with a nice breeze. Very clean and comfortable. Located in the peaceful, quiet valley of Coral Bay, which is much less built up and touristic than Cruz Bay, but still has some great options for restaurants and bars. Cottage is very near Salt Pond Bay Beach (which is beautiful and has great snorkeling - especially if you want to see turtles!) and two of our favorite hiking trails - Ram's Head and Reef Bay. Russ was a fabulous host - he was very welcoming, gave us tons of suggestions for day trips, beaches, restaurants, etc. and even helped us wash our car on the last day so the rental car company wouldn't charge us extra. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing, low-key and affordable beach vacation!"

  • Awesome Vacation!

"Pink Horses is a beautiful property located on a steep hillside in one of my favorite spots in the world, Coral Bay. Upon arrival on STJ and picking up our Jeep from Amy @ Amalie Car Rentals, we drove to Red Hook and hopped the ferry. Upon arrival in Cruz Bay, we provisioned at Starfish Market, then drove to Coral Bay and met Nancy, the property manager for Pink Horses. She led us to Pink Horses, up a paved road, then turned onto a semi-paved road that was rugged in a few spots. A Jeep is the preferred vehicle. The bumps and bounces were worth it once we arrived at Pink Horses....lovely house, fabulous views, delightful breezes, comfortable chairs on both decks to drink in the scenery. Nancy was very kind to show us the house and explain its workings. The house has been well maintained and is extremely clean. A search of the kitchen cupboards reveals plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils. Our bedroom with King bed had plenty of clothing storage, nice linens, a very nice adjoining bathroom with an indoor AND outdoor shower with a view. The guys watched a football game one night in the living room with large screen tv. Our friends' room on the lower level was also nice and comfortable with a detached bathroom. There was not a lot of clothing storage in that room. We used the washer mid-week; it works flawlessly and helps cut down the amount of clothing one needs to bring. There is also a dryer, but we used the breezes. We had a minor plumbing issue in the master bathroom, but a call to Nancy's husband, Ernie, had the leak repaired lickety-split quick. We appreciated his timely response. The pool is enticing, especially after several hours at any of the nearby beaches. One day, we played Skip-Bo on the rear patio, still outside but away from the breezes. The plantings around the house are beautiful, and there are lots of birds! The house's location is also near many good Coral Bay restaurants...Aqua Bistro, Indigo Cafe, Concordia Cafe. Cruz Bay is a 25 minute scenic drive with more restaurants...we always patronize Ocean Grille...and lots of nice shopping. Go see Kima at Out of The Blue and treat yourself to a nice piece of jewelry made on STJ as a reminder of your visit to this lovely island. Kudos to Terri, PH's owner, who is conscientious about returning one's calls, answering any questions and responding to emails. If possible, we will return to Pink Horses sooner rather than later. Thank you, Terri!"

  • Great House with Perfect Views

"I stayed with my husband and four children (ages 11,9,8 and 5) at Hart Bay Ridge recently. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the home very much. The house has everything a family needs to live comfortably, plus lots of extras (pool toys, beach chairs, coolers etc.) When we arrived I found the house very clean and we had no problems while we vacationed. The views from the porch are amazing and though we spent most of out days at the beaches it was nice to come back to HartRidge and relax by the pool. Hilarie was wonderful to work with and I would recommend this home for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of St. John."

  • Beautiful Villa, Exactly as Expected

"My wife and I stayed 8 days here on our baby moon vacation and found the villa to be a great value. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking meals in, and we made several lizard friends there, just keep it cleaned up or the ants will flock! Washer and dryer were very handy too since we packed light. Access from Centerline road was doable in a Toyota Yaris by just maneuvering around the few high rocks in the access road. We arrived after dark and had no trouble finding it with the clear step by step directions provided. The master bedroom did have a portable air conditioner in it but we found that it had little impact since the windows were only screened. That is the ONLY thing we would have changed, and I'm sure most of the year the temperature is perfect. We just happened to come at the hottest time of year. Even so, the breezes in the open floor plan of the main level were wonderful and kept the afternoon temps comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly for when we needed to look up places to go. Coral Bay in my opinion is the best place to stay if you're planning to spend time exploring the island as you can easily go east, west, or south to most anywhere in <20 minutes. Some rental properties included kayaks and I wish Little Palms had as well but we made due by bringing our inflatable kayak so we could explore and snorkel around Henley Cay, Whistling Cay, Mermaids Chair, and get to the Caneel resort beaches without paying for a rental or admission fees. I'd absolutely recommend the villa to my friends & family!"
