  • Breathtaking views from a lovely cottage

"My wife and I stayed here for 10 days at the end of August. The property was absolutely awesome! A quaint place nestled up on the side of Bordeaux mountain. The sounds of frogs and crickets could be heard every night and we loved it. Tom and Dee where some of the nicest people we have ever met. Tom met us down at the car rental, took us to the store to purchase a few items and then showed us to the cottage. Not your typical type of service. Both Tom and Dee went above and beyond to make our stay the best that it could have been. When we visit St.John in the future we will most definitely be staying with Tom and Dee."

  • Great time by all.

"Had a family of 8 stay here. Ages 82 - 22 months. We all enjoyed this home. Away from the hustle of downtown. We visited a number of St. John beaches, hiked on trails, enjoyed Coral Bay and made the most of this well equipped home."

  • Convenient Location with Spectacular View

"We just came home from a week at Heavenly Villa and I'm ready to return! Booking was easy. I communicated directly with the owner and payment was easily made through PayPal, which I always appreciate because of the buyer protection. The villa sits at the top, and I mean top, of a hill overlooking several bays including Cruz Bay. The views at all times of the day or night are beyond description. The pictures are accurate! The villa itself is simply furnished, but has EVERYTHING you will need, including several beach towels, beach chairs, even snorkel fins. The villa was very clean upon our arrival. The kitchen is fully equipped (including a new dishwasher) but who wants to cook? You are within a short drive to Cruz Bay and there are several restaurants recommended in the owner's guide in the villa. I think we tried them all and were never disappointed. Crandall on St. John handles all the arrangements and I cannot speak more highly of them. They communicated with us and made easy arrangements to meet us at the ferry dock. The Internet was down when we first arrived and I called them. They tracked the problem down to an Internet outage on the entire end of the island, and let us know so we at least knew it wasn't our equipment. We were also there to experience Tropical Storm Bertha and they checked on us both before and after and assisted with moving porch furniture and undoing the storm shutters. They also called to alert us to a temporary power outage prior to the event. If you have a Verizon cell phone, I would suggest leaving it at home and making arrangements to get a pre-paid AT&T phone. Verizon coverage was spotty at best and the roaming charges add up in a hurry. The WiFi was great for data downloads though. One last thing about Crandall...they made arrangements for our Jeep rental with Best Car Rental...we got a great rate and they let you park there in the evenings if you are getting dinner in town...a short walk down the hill. We've been to St. John four times now and we have yet to visit all of the beaches. If you dive, Low Key Watersports is a great operator. Good rental equipment, excellent guided dives in fairly shallow water so you will get lots of bottom time. I would recommend driving to Caneel Bay. They will allow you to park for $20, but if you spend $20 on the property it's waived. Walk to Honeymoon Bay where you can rent beach chairs, etc... Have lunch on the main property if you don't mind paying $30 for a salad:)."

  • Fabulous and memorable!

"We loved this charming cottage and it was perfect for our anniversary celebration week. The breezes kept the living space cool and comfortable. The artistic touches throughout the cottage are lovely and whimsical. The outdoor shower was great and we had everything we needed in the cottage to live comfortably. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck and spent mornings and evenings enjoying the fabulous view of Coral Bay. We walked down to Aqua Bistro and Pickles several times. The walk back up the hill kept us in shape! Can't wait to return!"
