  • More Than Enough!

"Just came back from 9 days at Just Enough and it was truly a little piece of heaven! We enjoyed our trip so much. The pictures of the views from the deck do not do it justice. It truly is bigger and more beautiful! You will need a jeep as the driveway is steep, but it just makes it feel all the more private. The house has everything you will need to use it as a base to come and go from snorkeling (Salt Pond Bay and Maho Bay were our favorites), and hiking experiences (Brown Bay Trail and Ram's Head for the sunset and moonrise). But, don't forget to just spend some down time enjoying the deck. On the property we saw deer, lots of birds and many iguanas hanging out in the trees. You will truly feel like you are away from it all, but close enough to enjoy all that St. John has to offer."

  • An incredible villa in Paradise!!

"We loved this villa from the moment we pulled through the gate and saw the gorgeous flowers and fountain. The villa is high on a mountainside with beautiful views of Cruz Bay below. It is beautifully furnished both inside and out. We enjoyed the outdoor living spaces as much as the indoor! We found it very clean and well-maintained, and although we encountered no problems, we were content knowing that there was a very capable property manager a phone call away. In fact, she met our group at the ferry and acquainted us with the property and the island. The three master suites are very comfortable with their own attached bathrooms -- one has its own balcony as well. The fourth bed is a pull-out couch located on a loft (with its own bathroom) up a very steep spiral staircase. While it doesn't afford much privacy, we found the mattress on the pull out couch to be very comfortable. It would be difficult for young children or the elderly to navigate the steps to the fourth sleeping area. However, the plus side to this "bedroom" is that it has an incredible balcony with sweeping views of Cruz Bay! The villa is furnished with so many amenities including beach bags, beach towels, and beach chairs. There is also a great selection of books, movies, and games. The community pool and clubhouse is located a decent walk from the villa, but is a very nice area. Because this villa is so high up on a mountain, it is not walkable to town or beaches. You will definitely need to rent a vehicle -- preferably a Jeep to navigate the mountainous roads. You absolutely will not be disappointed with this incredible property. We stayed at the Westin last year, but liked this FAR better!! Thank you for allowing us to rent it and maintaining it so well!"

  • Good clean home, plenty of room, plenty of water and sunshine

"Met Winnie at the dock. She was the best/nicest/genuine person we met all week. Simply adorable. She took time to take us to our car rental and then we followed her to the house. She as just so funny and sweet! The driveway was straight up. She said if you hit the mountain turn left. The house itself had heavy doors. The breezes blow them shut loudly. The two master bedrooms were beautiful. Only one had a master bath, the other had a bath just outside in the hallway, which also had a door to the pool area. We had many Iguanas in our trees, never once getting on our deck, but they were awesome to watch. They fought occasionally and fell out of the trees. We ordered 2 pizza's the first night, a 6 pack of beer, some wings, and some pop and bill was $108. Whew. We bought water, if you can - get water the first night you're there. Ask your guide to stop at Dolphin and pick up 10 minutes worth of water, rum and food for a night. We didn't do that - and we wish we would have. We packed coffee and other basics. You must have snacks for sitting on the deck. The deck is beautiful and quiet. We saw no one when we were there. We heard laughter from a deck a little ways away, but saw no one. The house itself is equipped nicely. Good pots and pans, good dishes and glassware, many towels, beach towels and beach chairs and coolers when you go to Cinnamon or Trunk or my favorite Maho. They are good chairs. The first floor bedroom is outside down the steps. There are 2 twin beds with patio doors onto a nice patio area. And it has a bathroom. There is also a workout room with a futon for another sleeper. The washer dryer area is down there too. I loved the high ceilings. The pictures are not up to date - I saw no patio furniture like shown. But there was plenty of good furniture there. The pic of the living room is not exact anymore - there is a flat screen TV there now. I loved making coffee and sitting on the deck waiting for others to wake up. There's a beautiful view on the deck and it's fun to listen to the cars squealing on the hairpin turns after the rain. You do need a 4 wheel drive to get here."

  • Wonderful Sisters vacation

"The villa, L' Isle Amour was wonderful in every way. We got into St. John late at night, having stopped in St. Thomas on our way and spending more time than we expected to. The on island manager, Robin had texted us and said she would make sure the key was there and the lights were left on. That came in handy. We settled in and found everything we needed and felt at home immediately. That first morning waking up to a place we had not yet seen in the daylight was so pleasant. The birds singing, the various islands sounds of nature, the views of the salt pond and St. Thomas were enough to drag us out of bed to start our day. A short walk into town to provision the place with some food and drink and then off to Honeymoon Bay for a snorkel and swim. The days went on like this. It is an easy life at Aqua Bay. Swims in the pool, lunch bbq on the deck, hikes, trips to BVI's, happy hours at Woody's, Castaways, Joe's Rum hut, etc. Everything I love about St. John. I highly recommend Aqua Bay. The management is very responsive and the place is beautiful and oh so convenient to town. Thanks Leslie for a great vacation stay!"
