"What a beautiful location! We loved the natural beauty, the quiet, and the laid-back vibe. The donkeys, chickens, sheep and goats were just another aspect of the away-from-it-all charm of this place. Snorkeling in Hansen Bay was the best!
Jay gave us lots of helpful advice, and the cottage was comfortable and nicely decorated.
Thanks again for sharing your little piece of paradise with us."

"Having just spent 5 nights at Callaloo, I would highly recommend this wonderful villa to anyone who is looking for wonderful breezy views of coral bay. The house is beautifully decorated with an eclectic collection of art and furnishings. It is very comfortable, (we were a group of 9) and private baths and sleeping areas was wonderful. The constant breeze made this a great place to hang out when not beaching it for the day. The pool was a great addition and the outdoor bathrooms are the best. Do consider staying here without hesitation!! I would definitely return."

"Our most recent trip to St John was honestly the best one so far and we've had some great times on island. Seascape was a very, very, very pleasant surprise. The house itself was great, roomy, had everything we could want but the outside is the main attraction. The expansive deck had a great view during the morning and at night. Most surprisingly for us, we loved the pool. We've stayed at many places with a pool but never really used it but the one at Seascape is pretty big and the water was perfectly warm. It also has a hot tub but we didn't use it because we were in the pool on a floatie listening to the ocean and usually watching the stars.
I am not a morning person and never up early but I'd wake up at 6am every day and just lay there listening to the ocean. There's a AC but we never used it because there was always a pleasant breeze. I'd eventually get out of the massive bed and go sit on the deck and watch the sky change colors and chat with the huge iguanas that hang out on by the deck.
Oh, the house was extremely clean. Something that's very important to us since we've stayed at a place that was over run by bugs (and I don't mean mozzies, I mean the horrifyingly gross kind of bugs).
We will definitely be back next year."

"We stayed at Sweet Wind in mid-July. We had been staying at another location that turned out to not work out for all members of our family. Luckily we contacted Nina and her place was available. Vacation saved! We stayed for five nights and enjoyed the spectacular views and wonderful breezes. We loved the set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms in one building and the third bedroom attached to the main structure but only accessible by going outside. The outside decks and grotto behind the buildings were like one large house due to the wonderful climate.
The driveway up looks intimidating but after our experience at another location that was unpaved and required four wheel drive, this was easy peasy. We had four wheel drive but found that it was not necessary to use it on the driveway. Had the road been wet it might have been necessary. Nina even has a built-in location behind the driveway that allows you to turn your vehicle around, making the exit very easy.
We had thought that the water would be easier to get to since the water was right below. However, the access is down the road and a tight turn, not really easy to get to on foot. There are kayaks down there that you may be able to pay to use. Despite that you are in striking distance of some awesome snorkeling spots a short drive away. The variety of life in the less traveled East End was impressive. Haulover, Hansen's Bay, and the mangrove snorkeling were highlights for us.
The house is well equipped for times when you can't be out exploring. There is an extensive library with quite a variety of books. A collection of games and puzzles is in one cabinet if you need to pass the time. We found a DVD collection. The DVD player was broken but Nina offered to get another one while we were there, but it wasn't necessary for us. A nice sized flat screen with satellite TV and all of the movie channels pleased our son that was in movie withdrawal. A strong wi-fi signal kept us as in touch as we wanted to be.
The kitchen was very nice with most anything you could need.
A cooler was available to take on our island explorations.
There was a big bin of beach/snorkeling equipment including beach chairs, noodles, fins, and masks. We made very good use of the nice clothesline attached to the railings. Constant winds acted like a dryer for our swimsuits and towels.
An outdoor shower was in the grotto and was quite popular."
