  • July 14 – 28, 2014 The Sea Rock Experience – 14 days of R&R!

"Sea Rock is located on the East side of St. John, VI. It sits on the side of a mountain, has a welcoming entrance, a fresh air openness, and an amazing view of Coral Bay stretching out to the Atlantic. The house is in decorative seaside colors, bright, clean, amply provisioned and well cared for. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil necessary, the bedrooms have more than enough comfort and bedding, and after a hot and sunny day we chose to sleep with air conditioning. There are two, large (protected) outdoor showers—so one showers with a view—and then there’s the hot tub! Also available are Wi-Fi, telephone, sound system, TV, puzzles, and games. We enjoyed watching the rising sun, sail boats and colorful skiffs zigzagging around the Bay and, on one night, a full moon and its reflection up the Bay. We’re not birders, but Bananaquits regularly visited and made us feel welcome and a Green-Breasted Carib Hummingbird made its rounds to flowers on the deck. The biggest surprise and challenge was getting accustomed to an Island with a rhythm of its own—Slow, and that’s only in part the result of the 20 mph speed limit. We were also surprised to find one drives on the left side of the road and that the steering wheel is on the left side of the vehicle. As to seaside recreation, after visiting some delightful beaches, Maho Bay became our beach of choice for swimming and snorkeling because of its proximity and convenient parking. This was a genuinely restful vacation. It’s been a few weeks since we got home and we’re still adapting. Thank you Dan, Deb and Jared. Joanne and Al Keiser North Bethesda, MD"

  • Great House with Perfect Views

"I stayed with my husband and four children (ages 11,9,8 and 5) at Hart Bay Ridge recently. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the home very much. The house has everything a family needs to live comfortably, plus lots of extras (pool toys, beach chairs, coolers etc.) When we arrived I found the house very clean and we had no problems while we vacationed. The views from the porch are amazing and though we spent most of out days at the beaches it was nice to come back to HartRidge and relax by the pool. Hilarie was wonderful to work with and I would recommend this home for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of St. John."

  • Found Our Place to Stay in St. John

"What a wonderful place! We have visited St. John the last 5 summers and have finally found a place to repeat. Great location. Wonderful host and hostess in Laurie and Craig. Easy to rent and do business with Anna May. All the amenities were available. We didn't want to leave. Already thinking about reserving for next year!"

  • Paradise found

"I stayed here with 8 other friends for 4 nights. The accommodations were fantastic. Clean beds and baths. Decor was island shabby chic. You could tell the owner put a lot of time and heart into this place. The views! Words cannot describe the beauty that is Chocolate hole. The house is perched just high enough to get a full view of chocolate hole but just a few steps down to the ocean. The beach is rocky with some sand. You'll find an abundance of whelks and sea urchin. The whelks are edible. In fact they are an island delicacy. Watch out for those sea urchins though. I would absolutely recommend this home to all. If you're blessed enough to make it to St. John. This is the house to stay in."
