  • Very peaceful cottages!

"Had a great time here at Trevors peaceful cottages! The cottages were equipped with everything we needed. Very nice to sit on porch and listen to the nature! Convenient to Cruz bay. Trevor was very accommodating. We will be coming back."

"Just want to start by saying what a place. Wow. We absolutely loved mnc. The villa is definitely private. This was our honeymoon and it was an amazing stay. Five stars means just that. Hate to leave this wonderful place . It was well furnished, comfortable bed, excellent kitchen and so much more. The drive up to mnc is steep but a jeep in 2wd goes up fine. Extremely quiet and private. Monkey no climb is on top of our list of places to stay. Thanks Bart for allowing us to share your villa. Max and shelly"

  • Just the best!

"We have just returned from a week in the VI and BVI, and had the vacation of a lifetime. We began our vacation with a 3 night stay at Ylang Ylang, and it couldn't have been a more perfect start to our trip. We'd never been to the VI before, and were a little unsure about location, driving (wrong side of the road :)), and so forth. The villa is well appointed, with a complete kitchen, wonderful pool/patio/balcony, and the most gorgeous view! Waking up to that view each morning, and having coffee outside was such a treat - such a peaceful place to relax. The inside and outside are very well maintained, and the housekeeper and property care taker are both extremely pleasant and helpful. The owner provided a lot of great information at the time of booking, and also checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. The villa is in an excellent location, and we were able to walk to Cruz Bay each day. We hiked the VI National Park trails, which are also within easy walking distance from the villa, and hiked to Solomon Beach, Honeymoon Beach, and on to Caneel Bay Resort for lunch one day. We had the best sushi there - Geisha Roll! We hiked back up the trail to Cruz Bay, and then would either walk back to the villa or take a taxi. It's a steep uphill to go home, but a great workout! In the evenings we would walk back to Cruz Bay for dinner - must try The Lime Inn - and then would take a taxi back to the villa at night. We will definitely recommend this villa to our friends, and look forward to going to back to Ylang Ylang with our family in the future. Enjoy!"

  • Great Place

"I should start the review with the negative because there isn’t much. The “town” of Coral Bay is not really a town, but a few widely spaced shops and bars. This is not a problem; just don’t expect to wander through town at night. The other item is even thought the roads on St John are exciting they have nothing on the driveway into Island Horizons. Most of it is paved, but it is easily steeper than anything else I have ever driven on. The house did have a nice flat place to park which helped. For the good: The house was lovely, very clean, comfortable, and stocked with anything we could need. However that was all lost in the truly outstanding feature of the house and that was the view. One of my favorite parts of the day was sitting up on the porch watching the light change over the ocean and the islands. You can easily see down the whole BVI chain. It was outstanding. I think my teenage daughter took half her pictures from the holiday off the porch. After a hard day of hiking or snorkeling there is something to be said for mixing yourself a Pain Killer and stretching out on a lounge chair or the hammock to watch the lights on the islands slowly turn on."
