"My wife and I just returned home and we can't wait to return. What a lovely property, and Lee the on-site owner is a most gracious and helpful host. We stayed in the 1-BR apartment (Sugar Bird Nest), and it offered everything we needed and more. Previous tenants have left amenities behind like cooking oil and spices, so make sure you do an inventory before you buy. We left unused sunscreen, Meyer's Rum and some other things so it's a nice "use some/leave some" arrangement. Lee has everything for the beach...towels, beach chairs, coolers, and ice-packs. The view overlooking Pillsbury Sound is fantastic and the large, screened-in balcony makes for a comfortable venue to enjoy morning coffee or for outdoor dining. The Jacuzzi's a nice touch and we were able to use it several times and the gas grill was great for grilling fish. You will need a car, but we were able to use a small 2-WD Yaris from Budget rental car at STT, so don't feel like you have to pay double for a 4-WD Jeep. It was especially nice having a washer/dryer at our disposal as well. We'll remember it for next time so we can pack light. Thank you to Lee for offering such a clean and well-maintained home away from home! We will miss you and Gigi until next time."

"Just got back from our first trip to St John. We will be going back for sure & would not hesitate to stay here again. I hate to let the secret out. It's on the "chillax" side of the island so if you are looking for all night hub bub..you had better stay in Cruz Bay. Our hosts were great and our place was clean. (we stayed Little lagoon North)...not a full kitchen but we didn't find the need for one. Nice sitting area in the shade outside and a grill if need be. Walking distance to their beach for morning coffee and sunrise. Spectacular."

"WE have been traveling to STJ for over a decade. We started on our honeymoon and now we are sharing with our kids. We have stayed at hotels (Westin) and villas. However, this place is absolutely perfect. I was skeptical about NO AC because I never stayed with No AC in STJ. But I have to say it WAS NEVER an issue at all- I actually enjoyed it more.. I liked the gentle breezes that flow through the house, the wide open door with the views of ST Thomas were perfect. It felt like we were HOME the minute we walked in!
WE were a family of five (3 kids 9,7,7) and this was a great house for us. It was safe for the kids, the POOL was AWESOME, we grilled out and ate on the deck every night. The kids explored the area around the house that is flush with iguanas, birds, crabs, etc. We walked to Chocolate Hole and hiked to Hart Bay.
At night we played board games and watched TV/movies, ate popcorn, enjoyed the views...The kitchen is fully stocked and the house is extremely CLEAN and very nicely decorated.
I would return and recommend this to everyone."

"Our first time to St John found our family of four sitting on the patio of Seagrape enjoying the view the breeze and the music drifting up from town. Within walking distance to town we were able to enjoy the multiple restaurants, bars , shopping and catch a trolley taxi to visit the beaches. Seagrape was clean and comfortable and the patio was the perfect place to relax after a long day. It was great to be able to jump in the pool right below the patio after a long hot day to cool off also. We definitely enjoyed our vacation at Seagrape and St John"
