"We had 13 people in this house, 9 adults and 4 children. There was never a time where we felt we are on top of each other. There was so much space and privacy. The kids were in the pool pretty much anytime we were on the property. The kitchen was full of amenities -- ice maker was great! We did have a water leak the first day we were there. It was fixed and completely taken care of by the time we got home from dinner. Very responsive management company. I'm not sure you can beat the view. It was a fantastic place to spend Thanksgiving and probably the best view we have had for our Thanksgiving meal. Very much recommend this place especially for large groups and kids."

"This place is wonderful!!! I hesitate to publish this because I don't want it to be booked when I want to visit. That being said, I have seen many homes and this one is still the best hands down. One of the numerous positives of this home is the privacy. I cannot say enough good things, comfortable, convenient, attractive, nice amenities, washer/dryer, beach chairs, cooler, towels etc.... The Owner and the Management company are both awesome as well. Easy to work with and extremely helpful. Our only problem is trying to figure out when and how long to come back for."

Spectacular Villa with a Trustworthy and Responsive Owner!
"We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Christy Ann. This spotless villa has ample space for two couples, and the view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. The outdoor shower and hot tub provided the perfect way to relax after a long day of snorkeling and hiking. The owner is responsive and trustworthy; he even offered to extend our stay for an additional day when we encountered travel issues with an unreliable airline (word to the wise: don't fly US Air). We were also very impressed with the property management company, who was available at all hours if we required anything at the villa or needed assistance planning our daily outings.
To be sure, our party of Boston professionals researched potential rentals in St. John for WEEKS--carefully comparing the amenities, location, price, and reviews of every option on the island. Christy Ann looked the best on paper and, after having stayed for a week, we can now confirm it's the best option on St. John."

"This is a great villa and you won't be disappointed if you rent it. My kids (teenagers) and I spent a week here and it was just right. James was very accommodating to our Thursday-Thursday schedule, and also rented us a sturdy 4-wheel drive car at a discounted rate. We took a cab from the airport in St. Thomas to Red Hook, caught the ferry over and James picked us up at the dock. He filled us on some good things to do while taking us straight to the house, only 10 min from the dock. The house has a nice main living area, great AV set-up, a kitchen with everything we needed and a wonderful westward view of Cruz Bay. It was very convenient to the town, as well as to highway 104 which goes right up to the centerline road, so it was quick to get to anywhere on the island. Each bedroom had a bathroom and the four of us were very comfortable. AC was available but with the breeze we never needed it. Many of the other reviews of other properties I read mentioned chickens and donkeys making all sorts of noise early in the morning, but I never heard them here. The only sounds were the occasional dog in the distance or a horn from a truck rounding the nearby bend in the road. The pool and hot tub were terrific, and great to return to after a day at the beach. The house had beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and a basket full of information brochures and magazines. Wi-fi was fast and worked everywhere in the house and around the pool. We typically would start the day with a run down the back roads, checking out the great views, followed by a jump in the pool, and then enjoying a smoothie from the blender as we sat on the porch. We then would set off on the days adventure. Upon return, we would relax in the hot tub before cooking our dinner or going out and then come home to watch some of their supplied movies or on Dish TV. Definitely consider eating in occasionally. There is a market about 5 min away from the property, but be prepared for sticker shock on food items in St. John. Everything except chicken and plantains is 2-3 times what you are probably used to paying, but it's still far cheaper than eating out. If I had to think of a negative on the property it would be that we did get some mosquitos occasionally in the house despite our best efforts, but that was only one 1-2 days when the wind was down. James was very responsive and took us back to the ferry right on time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing week in St. John."
