  • Great Villa for large family

"This villa was perfect for our large extended family. There were grandparents, young adults and young children (ages 7 and 8). The safari room was perfect for a family with young kids as there are 2 KING beds in one room (one of the king beds in a separate alcove situated perfectly so the kids could not fall out of bed). The other bedrooms allowed for different sleeping arrangments, one room had a queen bed plus a pull out queen sofa, the other has a King bed plus pull out single bed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, spices, etc. The pool area is HUGE, and safe for kids. We used the grill daily. VIlla hit all of our must haves: FULL AC, cable and TV's in all rooms, KID friendly, Safe POOL deck area, close to Cruz Bay. Multiple and separate sleeping arrangements. The only CON was theat there was no music outside on the deck. There is WIFI so we used our IPHONES, but I recommend bring a small portable speaker to hook up your IPHONE to. Kurt and Viva Vacations were great to deal with- very repsonsive and accomodating."

  • You Won't Be Disappointed!

"Villa Tesori is amazing! Everything about it is gorgeous and top notch. You will find everything you need in the villa so pack light! Every kitchen item you might want and more are included. Beach towels are in every bedroom. There were little soaps, lotions, and shampoos as well. There are rafts for the pool but no life jackets. There is scuba gear. The trip to the grocery store is quick and easy...although expensive! The travel from the airport to the Ferry and over to St. John is much easier than I anticipated. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. You do have to watch out for a few birds that will come and snatch food right off your plate when you are dining out doors. They are not nearly as scary as the birds at Trunk Bay (famous beach but really....probably not worth it to pay to go there...the birds are awful if you eat there and the other beaches are just as beautiful) though! Driving on the wrong side of the road gets easier! You cannot walk anywhere. Although the drive to the store, restaurants, shops, and beaches is not bad at all, I do think it would be great to stay somewhere (if it could be just as nice) that you could walk to a beach, hiking, or to the shops. There are two bedrooms that are across from each other which works nice for parents in one and young kids in the other. The other bedrooms are separated. The apartment by the pool is nice for teens. It is fine but maybe a bit damp smelling. Watch out for mosquitoes. They have the tropical mosquito disease and it is different than getting bites in the US. Use a spray that is at least 10% DEET and it will maybe help kill any virus that at mosquito does carry when it bites. They bite in the day just as much as at night. My boys got very sick with a virus that may have been one of the tropical diseases. The shower in the Trunk Bay was leaking and the air conditioner was temperamental. The open windows and the dripping water may have caused mosquitoes to inhabit that room. The doctor we went to right in the center where the grocery store is was wonderful. We did get stranded because of a tropical storm and had to find a new villa. Tesori has a generator so you will not lose power. The other one we stayed at randomly lost power for hours at a time even when there was no wind or storm. For activities and restaurants, We liked the Virgin Grille. There were others we liked but I'm not recalling the names. Everywhere seemed to be good!"

  • Wonderful Hospitality

"I came to St. John for Carnival once again and had a great time. I lived on island at one time, so I am familiar with the different places you can stay. This villa is a true hidden gem. As a woman traveling alone, this villa provided complete privacy without losing the quaint island feel. The screened in veranda was fantastic as I was able to enjoy dining al fresco without any bugs. Awesome. The owners were very friendly and helpful when anything was needed. I highly recommend this villa for your next trip to St. John."

  • Caribbean Savvy

"My wife and I just returned from our ? th trip to St. John, began in 1971. Over the years we have stayed at the Eureka property approximately 5 times, most times we book too late. We love the property because of the proximity to town, if you forget something it is not the end of the world AND the location is great for catching a dinner in town without the distance. The property provides an excellent view of Rendezvous Bay, Chocolate Hole with St. Croix in the distance. The house was very clean and well maintained. Louvered windows can be opened to provide cooling breezes and large ceiling fans kept the house cool. The price was very reasonable for a property on St. John. We have traveled the Caribbean extensively, been to most Islands, and St. John is our favorite. Eureka is the perfect spot for all our needs."
